  1. That's crazy. The Finish Line in my mall (directly across from Picture People...where i work) has a thing that plays the same kinda CDs my work plays. Once in awhile, we borrow their CDs cuz they have better music. I gotta borrow their CD so i can work 2 "If U Can't Dance (Slide)."
  2. Yeah, it's Kel + company. Tim actually posted an interview with them a few months ago.
  3. That's hilarious. Here's a kinda random story. My friend had a run down shed in his yard. It waz probably built in the early 1900's. It waz old, falling apart, and full of junk. Back when we used 2 steal signs, we'd put them all in that shed. About 2 years ago, the city desided that the shed waz a historical peice of crap and wanted it torn down. I think the city actually tore it down...and i'm wondering if they found all those signs. We probably had a few thousand dollars in fines in there...and some prison time. I guess they just loaded all the signs up with the rest of the rubble and took it away.
  4. Born To Reign is easy 2 find...it came out 3 years ago. U can get it at Wal-Mart for $9.72. They just restocked on the FP albums a month or 2 ago.
  5. It's not hard 2 find on ebay on the 12" single. It's also available on CD if u can find the Mr. Magic CD featuring it.
  6. Yo fuq, a few months ago i heard that Jamie Foxx wazn't coming out with a new album after all. I'm hoping that isn't true, but i'm remember being really disappointed when i heard it/read it...so i'm thinkin' it waz coming from a legit source. By the way, Kanye West is on the next episode of Nick Cannon's Wild 'N Out (on the show AND performing). Back on topic... AKON - Belly Dancer
  7. Buy the album. Step up and be a real fan. If someone publicly puts the track up, the both of u will probably be banned. Cuz not buying an album that is easy 2 get is just pathetic.
  8. This movie is ill!! Of course i'm a biased cuz i'm a big Marky Mark fan, but this is the best movie i've seen in a long time. It made me totally forget Batman Begins, Dukes of Hazard, Charlie + The Chocolate Factory and whatever else movies i've seen in the past few months. This Hip-Hop, action-packed, gang related, drama is simply insane. The story is clever and fresh and everyone in the movie holds their own. The vibe in the movie is so strong, i thought we were in the middle of the winter until i went outside. The movie just puts out a strong vibe. There also bits of comedy put thru' out it. The music in the movie great...lots of 60's and 70's soul in the movie. If there's a soundtrack, i'm gettin' it. There is some very emotional moments and some very light hearted ones. There's also a good bit of violence including close up shootings/stabbings. Not 2 mention the deaths of 2 or 3 characters u get close 2. It definitly earned it's R rating. All i gotta say is that i'm seeing this movie again...and soon. This is the 1st movie i've seen more than once since Hitch. See it!!
  9. I KNEW IT!! I KNEW IT!!! I waz watching that Pussycat Dolls video the other day and waz thinking 2 myself "one of those girls had 2 be in that group Eden's Crush." Sure enuff, those links confirmed it. I actually got The Eden's Crush CD single back then, and just recently i got their album (used for $1).
  10. Fresh Ta Def, why do u post so many FP topics on the OFF TOPIC BOARD!?!?! That makes no sense.
  11. I don't think u can really call these greatest hits since most trax weren't even released as singles. A Greatest Hits tracklisting is pretty limited 2 what hit and not what missed...or wazn't even released. These are more like compilations.
  12. MARKY MARK + THE FUNKY BUNCH - Super Cool Mack Daddy
  13. I know where u are coming from bigted. But i personally could never just lay down and die...u gotta fight 4 what is right, ya know. Am i gonna just sit back and watch 50 Cent videos dominate the charts and put poison in the minds of kids watching MTV? Heck 2 the nizzo...it's time 2 vote 4 stuff like "Party Starter" when the video drops. It's time 2 put Black Eyed Peas "Don't Lie" (which is a brilliant song) on top of the cookie cutter G-Unit crap which sounds all the same and has no meaning. I rather support real Hip-Hop and NOT reap the benifits rather than just see the game stay in a current state of trash knowing that i could do something. Do it 4 the luv of da game.
  14. U could also say that it's a Steelers jersey tho.' And if anyone can have any hometown pride, it's me...Biz Markie lives in Maryland now :lolsign: . Jus' playin.' By the way, it's an action figure, not a doll. Dolls are 4 girls. :eusa_snooty:
  15. HA HA!! YEAH!! That show is gonna be dope!! But who invited Nelly?
  16. As much as lack-luster sales don't bug him. I think it's important 2 get his stuff out there. Most of us are discusted with the commerical image of Hip-Hop and Rap. FP is going against the grain and doing his part 2 save Hip-Hop, and i think it's important 2 put him in a place 2 do it more effectively. After all, more success means more videos, more remixes, more collabos and b-sides. It also means more touring, promotion and TV appearances. One of the reasons he dosen't record 2 often is cuz he dosen't feel appriciated and that there is a desire 2 him 2 drop and album more often. Some of us got families, full time jobs and stuff like that, so our activeness might be stunted a bit. But i know there are other people out there who can carry this out in a big way. I think that as long as it's organized, there should defintly be a street team.
  17. BOW WOW + OMARION - Let Me Hold You Man, i love this joint!!
  18. We used 2 street team all of his projects by creating websites, visiting other message boards, and just spreading the word. I think it's always important 2 promote your favorite artists. However, life is a lil' more demanding now, so my activity will be limited this time around. As long as an experienced person (or people) are runnin' thangs, i'm down 4 it. Maybe Tim should make it part of this site as long as the finsihed product isn't weak.
  19. MARKY MARK + THE FUNKY BUNCH - I Need Money
  20. Turntable, your age gap is cool. FreshPrincess, i just can't get down with an age gap like that. When i waz 23 years old, i wouldn't even consider seeing a 16 year old. I think even 18 would be pushing it.
  21. The only movie i've seen that had Tyrese in it waz Baby Boy, which i love. I thought he did fine in the movie, and he waz just getting started out then.
