I couldn't bare 2 read hardly any of the posts in this topic...but here's my take on it. The way Kanye has realized that he can get alot of attention and cause countroversy by opening his big mouth has gotten very annoying 2 me. There are times when he dose say something intellegent, but there are alot of annoying, empty things he says...an i think this would be one of those. He's starting 2 remind me of Eminem and how he saw how much attention he waz getting...so he just got more annoying until he got 2 where he is 2day, which isn't a good place (at least 2 real Hip-Hop fans). I agree with what he said about the "looting/searching" thing, but his other comments are just empty. Big mouth but nothing much coming out of it. If he dosen't want the media twisting the image of black people, then he shouldn't contribute 2 it. One of my friends said this 2day about his comments (almost word for word). "There is white trash and there is black trash...but this isn't about black and white, this is about stupid people and smart people." She then went on 2 say he has a "black trash" attitude and that his ignorant comments are what is gonna make people mad...not the color of his skin. She's 30 years old and grew up in a nearly all black school. She's not racist at all and someone i very much respect, and i can't help with agree with her. When Chuck D speaks, i listen and form my own opinion...in which i usually agree. When Kanye West speaks, i listen and often drop my head and shake it in dissapointment. Oh yeah, and i like his new album...but i haven't listened 2 it in like 4 days. So his music isn't keeping me that interested in him either.

ARRESTED DEVELOPMENT - Fame Da Feelin' (2000)

I don't watch the show. I went 2 visit my grandmother a few weeks ago and she likes the show, so i watched it with her. As a performer, i dosen't bother me 2 much 2 watch it, but it's definitly not my kinda thing. I wazn't in2 Kelly Clarkson, but when i heard the singles off her new album, i really like her style. I might even get her album when i find it at the right price. From the few songs i've heard from Ruban Studdard, he has some skillz 2. It's hard 4 me 2 take someone 2 seriously coming off a show like that tho.'

LIFEHOUSE - You And Me (on VH-1) (...don't know...) (2005)

Sorry, Turntable...but i gotta say this. I've hated Lil' Kim since she came out. Her music has always been awful 2 me. Her voice is so annoying and her lyrics are the greasyest, fithiest stuff ever. U are doing Hip-Hop an injustice by mentioning someone like MC Lyte in the same paragraph as Lil' Kim. While Lyte is known for being able 2 rip fellaz in battles, Lil' Kim is known for having 2 get her stomach pumped during a show cuz she had a gallon of sperm in it...that's just discusting. I think it's funny when a wack rapper disses another...it's like watching a bunch of 3 year olds fighting on a school playground.

But that Mike Jones performance was so moving. It changed my life. Oh well, i guess i'll still vote for FP.

EVERYTHING BUT THE GIRL - Mirrorball (DJ Jazzy Jeff Sole Full Remix) Adapt or Die: Ten Years of Remixes (2005)

I think it's a good single choice...but a lil' late. I think "Party Starter" will definitly pick up some heat. But i think it was important that "Switch" waz released 1st. When i listen 2 "Switch" now, i think it is doper than what it waz when it 1st came out...and that's rare 4 me.

The art of hating is quite pathetic...as this review displays. Did he even listen 2 the track?!? Oh well.

Oh shoot...i 4got about "He Loves Me." That might be my fav. Oh well, "Everytime" would be right behind it.

Frenetic...this isn't the Kanye West board. U need 2 start putting all this stuff in one post cuz u make at least 1 Kanye post a day and it's congesting up the board.

Alot of her songs are amazing. But i went with "Everytime." The music, the lyrics, that song just moves me. U can't explain how a song like that comes about. Like Tatyana said herself, there is something about the song that makes u think u've heard it b4 the 1st time u hear it.

Interesting idea, but i don't think it's necessary...or that it will happen.

Wild 'N Out is seriously one of my fav shows ever. I love it. FP needs 2 be on it...he's fit right in. FP and Nick playing off each other would be hilarious.

HEY!!! As a way 2 direct people on how 2 find the music we listen 2...i think with this post, we should put the album it's on and the year it came out. For instance... ARRESTED DEVELOPMENT - Rules To The Game Heros of The Harvest (2000)

I waz very disappointed with Mos Def's most recent album. Infact, i never listen 2 it. I remember really liking about 3 trax...and the rest just aren't that good. There's alot of rock influenced stuff that i don't like on it. I'm about 2 make a Hip-Hop mix CD and i waz gonna put 2 or 3 of those trax i love on the mix since i never listen 2 the album.

I'm always up past 12...so i'll definitly be checking 4 it. I'm not sure if they update it then cuz i don't really check that stuff out very often. I've heard lots of songs when they premier cuz AOL advertises them. But i never check their music section just 2 do it. My crappy computer rarely plays videos anyway so i never check 4 videos....i will this time.

Congratz!! When u guys talk about getting a hard-2-find album, i honestly get all hyped along with u, cuz i can just imagin how it feels 2 finally hear some old music 4 the 1st time.

While we are on this topic...let me just say the Four Brothers soundtrack is dope. Since the movie took place in Detroit (yes, that means Marky Mark waz the illest white boy in Detroit for a few months...ha ha), they desided 2 load up the soundtrack 2 the movie with 70's and 60's Motown. For those that don't know...Motown's homebase waz Detroit. Back 2 the music tho', It's not the sugar coated happy Motown stuff. It's the heavier, darker side of Motown. I popped the soundtrack in when i got off work the other day. The music is just so good that i drove around for nearly 2 hours listening 2 it b4 i went home.

STACIE ORRICO - Christmas Wish Yes, i'm listening 2 Christmas music in August/September...ha ha. I found the $40 Japan version of this album for only $5, so i had 2 get it.

I've read and heard so much about all of that. I can't even mentally bring myself 2 terms with what they are going thru' down there. My prayers are going out 2 those people.

I'm amazed that some of that stuff is so high and how some of it is so low. If quality waz in issues, FP would be on top along with Common Sense and the Black Eyed Peas. Kanye West would be in the middle...and 50 Cent would be nowhere in sight.
