I can't wait 4 a new album from him. The DEFinition waz a good album, but he's capable of much more. It's the kinda album that held me over until NOW. I'm ready 4 the next one.

As funny as this is...i'm not taking it anymore serious than i take tabliod newz on any other celebrity.

Well, i look at it this way. HIStory waz a new album AND a greatest hits album (which is now available on it's on), Number Ones waz released when the charges came up...which overshadowed the album and hurt it's sales. So, with his court victory fresh in everyone's head, i don't think this is a bad idea. The Ultimate Collection box set isn't and album...so i wouldn't even count that.

Thanx 4 posting that. I love hearing artists reach out 2 their fans. Since i do believe he waz innocent and waz hoping the best 4 me...not 2 mention being a fan since i waz like 2...that waz very cool 2 read.

I wouldn't call them "back-up rappers." They are just his "posse" i guess. I don't know why they are there tho'...they don't bring anything 2 the show or the song.

I just don't like Ludacris. His voice and flow annoy me. He has a decent lyric here and there, but nothing that impresses me. I just don't think he deserves 2 be on the same track as Da 'Prince. If he really wants support from the commerical rap fans...a remix with him would be the way 2 go....but that's the kinda people that got Big Willie Style and NOT Willennium and Born To Reign.

The video is easy 2 imagin, but i don't see it as single material. And since it would HAVE 2 be a performance style video...u gotta remember performance videos are SLEEPERS. Cool the 1st 5 times...boring the rest of the time. Since he has a hard time getting radio and video play, he would need a stronger single if he really wanted some play.

Yes!! I knew they had another one of these in the works!! The 1st one waz great and i can't wait 2 see what they got in store 4 this one. LL Cool J is my 2nd favorite emcee, so i can't wait 2 see his part. Not 2 mention Big Daddy Kane getting honored. Actually, i'm looking forward 2 pretty much everybody and everything they are gonna honor.

Great!! I'm hyped!! I like how they are putting nearly a year in between the release of the seasons. That way we don't end up spending crazy money all at one time...AND it gives us something 2 look for over the next couple of years.

Yeah, i've seen the promo. I've only found vinyl copies so far so i'm holding out 4 the CD promo...assuming it'll be put out on CD. Radio stations should be receiving it now but the way he gets treated by radio will probably make it so they don't start playing it until the video is out.

I think that it might be a decent 1st single...but that's already happened. I just don't see the song standing up 2 stuff like "Party Starter" and "Tell Me Why."

Yeah, when Mike Jones waz being interviewed after the show, i couldn't understand a word he said. He got so much gold and/or diamonds in his mouth, he sounds like he's just learning 2 talk. His performance waz garbage...i muted the TV and turned on the CD player during his set. After the interviewer mentioned what da 'Prince said, i waz wondering what he would say since he fits in that category of rappers who don't have any role model qualities. All he said waz that he wants 2 spread the message that even if u make mistakes, your dreams can come true. That's nice and all, but his music dosen't contain any messeges like that, much less any substance. By the way, the show is re-running Friday at 7:30.

No, they didn't ask performers 2 lipsync. That waz up 2 them. Stevie Wonder did it live. Toni Braxton and Faith TORE-IT-UP during their tribute 2 Gladys Knight, who also sang live. I didn't really think JJ+FP waz gonna perform. There waz never any news that they were...only that FP and fam waz hosting it. I think most of the people here hyped themselves up and overlooked the fact that there wazn't any official newz that they were gonna perform.

I picked the album up 2day. It's definitly a great album. If u like quality music...this is it. Raheem's album is the perfect blend of Neo-Soul and Hip-Hop. Pete Kuzma of A Touch of Jazz is all over the album. Anthony Bell produced a track 4 it as well. Again, while the track waz recorded at A Touch of Jazz, he isn't credited as one of their in-house producers. This is a great R-N-B album 4 the summertime. It's on sale at Circuit City for only $7.99 thru' Saturday. If u like this kinda stuff...don't sleep!

The whole BET thing works becuz black people are considered a minority in the US...so they are saying the channel is aimed towards a minority. It wouldn't make sense 2 have a channel aimed towards the majority...cuz MOST stuff can be considered 4 the majority. Besides, with the yucky past of racial tension, it only works 1 way. That's why BET exists and why WET would never work.
