1. "Dance or Die" is on the Made In America soundtrack. It's not that hard 2 find. If u can't find it in stores (which may be a strech these days), it is easy 2 find online as are all those imports. I can hook u up with various imports but i don't get anything until i get the money. 2 many people have been telling me they send me money 4 something, so i'd go buy it, and then i never get it so it wastes my money and i end up having Will Smith import CD singles just collecting dust in my room. Off the top of my head, i could find a "Just Cruisin'" single with a smooth remix, a "Freakin' It" single w/ a House Mix and the b-side "Holla Back" and some Tatyana Ali CD singles with remixes...one of them being of "Boy You Knock Me Out" featuring FP.
2. There is 4 versions of the JJ+FP "Greatest Hits" album. I'm pretty sure only one version has that Candyhill Remix of the song on it.
3. I saw this video a few days ago...but thanx 4 posting it.
4. "Miami" wazn't a latin inspired song. The remix waz...but either way, i thought it waz the weakest song on BWS. "Willow Is A Player" isn't my fav song at all, but i don't think it waz meant 2 be taken so seriously. That's like comparing "Gettin' Jiggy Wit It" to "The Rain." "Willow Is A Player" is just a funny song.
5.
Would the video be related to the movie, like showing clips of the movie? I remember "Shake Ya Tailfeather" did and showed small clips of BB2 in the video.
I doubt they'd put a song off the soundtrack out that wouldn't feature parts of the movie in it or tie it in2 the movie. I'm just disappointed that it looks like it'll be a movie-related song as his 1st single back in 2 music. I wanted a legit album song. On top of that, "Got To Be Real" is most-likely a radio-friendly song u can dance 2. That's alright but i just wanted a laidback song from him and Mary.
6.
aj aftermath puts out d12, wack rapper , and that idiot, aftermath is a hot label, game recognize game
Yeah, but they are on Shady...which is distributed thru' Aftermath...4 obvious reasons. Aftermath has never made that much noize...stuff on Shady dosen't count as an Aftermath project. That's like saying that the Love & Basketball soundtrack and the Wild Wild West soundtrack were Interscope project just cuz Overbrook waz distributed thru' them.
7. :what: Have u not read half of the posts on these boards?? New JJ+FP trax are gonna be on Will's new album.
8. that fool and wack rapper are the same kinda artists. Mainstream "i only exist 2 sell records...not stimulate your mind" kinda artists. When that fool 1st came out, he got just as much play on rock stations...so he has a following of rock fans who may have stayed with him. I can't believe u are comparing Jurassic 5 and wack rapper...they are 2 different kinds of acts. Jurassic 5 has talent, skill, and knows how 2 perform. Some other people don't...that's why they get booed.
9. I know that's not fact...but that's how it goes in most cases.
10. I got "Quality" but i need 2 get his others. I bought it last year and it is one of the best album i've gotten in a long time. "Get By" waz my song.
11. I agree with alot of what u said djsilvertiger. I didn't dislike either of them at 1st. I didn't like Ja-Rule's solo stuff but i like he's guest spots on trax by Dru Hill and BLACKstreet. Then i liked a few of his singles from the 2000ish area...but after that, i pretty much hated everything he did. When i saw him on TV i just wanted 2 smack him down. He's just so phoney. I used 2 hear 50 Cent doing guest spots on trax with Allure and stuff in the late 90's and didn't dislike him much. I like "Wanksta" and "In Da Club" waz catchy at 1st...but since then i just think he's a joke. I don't think either of them are responcible 4 their beef, i think they are both childish idiots with 2 much ego. Flow-wise, 50 is better than Ja but that isn't saming much. Half the time 50 sounds like Mushmouth from Fat Albert + The Cosby Kids.
12.
Will Smith is gonna be on TRL just wanted to let u all know
Thanx!! :thumb: But details would be nice. :daedulus:
13. Not 2 mention that this way, he can't be ignored when comin' back out. Doing a track with Mary J. Blige, which'll probably have a video is the perfect combination. There's a chance that his comeback single could be ignored, but since it's attached 2 Sharktale, AND it's with Mary J. Blige, things can't go wrong. His fanbase is always waiting...but all those BWS-buyers will now probably get the new album cuz it'll be piggy-backing this new song.
14. There honestly isn't a song that i don't like by him. There are ones that i don't listen 2 as often but it's mostly the movie-songs.
15. Ahh...i didn't know it waz a remake. Now i'm kinda disappointed. I guess i couldn't expect much more from a soundtrack 2 a movie that is also made 4 children 2 enjoy. I havn't seen that trailor yet...if i did, i didn't notice the song.
16. Yeah, i think both remixes took that trax and brought it up 2 date. The original sounds a bit dates so the remixes were a great idea.
17. I thought the soundtrack dropped in October!! So Sept is even better!! Less than a month. Fresh Prince + Mary J. Blige...seems like a great combination. Hopefully it's got a basic Hip-Hop feel with some soul thrown in their. If u heard "All My Love" off her last album, that's what i'm hoping 4 when it comes 2 the sound and vibe.
18.

'Sup with the "white" references? :dunno:
I am white...so that's not a racist comment. When it comes 2 very commercial-sellin' albums, that fact is, mostly white people are buying them. Ain't nothing wrong with that at all, but certain artists that make music that will relate ultimatly 2 the kinda person who has lived thru' this or lived thru' that. It's just kinda funny when the audience of an album seems 2 outgrow the kinda person that album relates 2. Alot of these young white kids from the suburbs are hearing stuff from him (and other artists) that they simply only hear about on the newz or in music and havn't witnessed it. My overall point is that most of the people who buy his albums dont' have the same taste as me and aren't exposed 2 Hip-Hop music as a whole. They know Eminem and what's in the top 10...and that's not my thing and i don't think alot of that stuff is legit in the 1st place. While some people will buy both albums, they definitly make music with 2 different standards or quality and respectablity. Eminem isn't making music 4 the same people that Fresh Prince is making it 4. Sorry if i over-explained myself, but hopefully that cleared up what my point waz.
19. Where in the world is "The Rain"...and how did "Willow Is A Playa" make it on there?!? "Potnas" is still my fav tho.'
20. I think we should have another poll asking how many of the people who voted 4 the original actually heard the other remixes. Since they are all good, i can't believe it's so one sided.
21. Is Eminem a threat commercially...yes. He has 100s of trailor parks and armys of white 14 year olds ready 2 line up 2 get the album. But FP doesn't exactly make music 4 the same people so it's not like people will be choosing 2 get one album and not the other. Is Eminem a threat as a human being...NO. He's a 4 foot white kid with serious issues in the head and he whines more than Corey Fellben on A Surreal Life.
22. Yeah, MC Hammer dropped a promo-vinyl single 4 his song "Full Blast" w/ the summertime b-side "Sunshine." I waz actually in Bon Ton and all of a sudden, "Full Blast" started playing. I cracked up cuz i thought i waz the only person that knew about it. They had the music video on the TV screen!! I only caught the end and the TV waz so big that i waz hard 2 see the image, but i'm hoping it gets some play. I'll see if i can't post some of the lyrics soon. He dosen't call out Eminem by his name but uses "8 Miles...2 more 2 go" in a lyric. He talks about a rapper who has a big mouth and a "bleached out wig". He also talks this rapper complaining how this girl and that girl hurt him, how he hates them, and that if he dosen't like girls, he should just come out a about.
23. YES!!! Album cover confirmation is always a good sign!! :scared2:
