1. I think i have a flyer in one of the DVD's i've bought that advertises this movie. I guess it's good that she's busy...but not with the kinda movies she dose. College has seemed 2 hurt her career a bit. I hope she bounces back soon. Oh yeah...and WHERE'S THE NEW ALBUM?!?
2. Mike retired in 2002 due 2 health problems. Back in 2000 i remember reading he has some serious back problems and missed some of their touring. Boyz II Men waz on 106 + Park last Friday and i caught some of the interview. They talked about doing all those covers. They basically just recorded TONS of songs and limited it down 2 what they thought waz the best. They were asked if they had any of their own songs that they hope never got covered by other groups. They said that they didn't object 2 anyone covering their songs, but that 60 million people might not be happy with someone who messed it up (refurring 2 the 60 million people who've bought BIIM albums). They said that the concept of the album came from fans coming up 2 them saying "hey, you guys should cover a song by (fill in the blank). They talked about owning their own company and being more than artists but also taking care of the business side of things themselves. Free also had them do some stuff acapella and they nailed it...the finished it off with "End of The Road." Boyz II Men is one of the most talented groups EVER and also a group of the nicest guys u could ever meet. They deserve so much more respect and attention than they these days.
3. I know this is a long list...but here's a list of my fav non-Jazzy Jeff / non-ATOJ beats. Just Cruisin' Candy Chasing Forever Just The Two of Us Boy You Knock Me Out w/ Tatyana Ali I'm Comin' Who Am I Holla Back Act Like You Know Block Party Give Me Tonite How Da Beat Goes
4. Well, FP has been pretty quiet about the album. All the news that we have on it as been peiced 2gether from a bunch of different interviews. Since the album is scheduled 2 drop December/January, we know it can't be any later than that. FP dosen't seem incredibly anxious 2 just drop the new music quite yet. I hope he dose it very soon tho'...b4 the Sharktale soundtrack comes out.
5.
Ceck "Live At Union Square (November 986) on the "he's the dj" album. Jazzy Jeff is playing Cheryl Lynn's Got to be real while FP is Doing this "Homeboys make some noize, lemme hear ya say awww" thing.
I 4got all about that... ...thanx 4 pointing that out.
6. Jive actually has had a pretty good group of artists signed 2 them. I'll go get the yellow Hummer 2 pick everyone up.
7. There is no way 2 get your hands on the "Summertime" acappella. It waz never released 2 the public in any way. :sad6:
8. Man, how am i ever gonna get outta debt with so much good stuff coming out?!? I might have 2 ask 4 that 4 Christmas. Is the new Greatest Hits album gonna pick up where Greatest Misses left off or will it compile all the hits thru' out their career??
9. "She Will Be Loved"...i probably heard the others but don't know the titles. I'm not a big fan of rock music, but i hear alot of popular rock stuff whenever i put on my local Top 40 radio station mixed in with other stuff i listen 2 (and stuff i don't wanna listen 2).
10. Luther Vandross + Beyonce "The Closer I Get To You."
11. I'll be working so somebody get all the details!! I don't think i'll have time 2 find a tape and set the VCR.
12. Well, i've been meaning 2 break in 2 Jive's vault for sometime now...if u wanna join me, we can probably find it.
13.

Now who's the real SLIM Shady?!?
14. I just popped in Kelly Rowland's album "Simply Deep" when i signed on AOL and saw they were leaking the new song by Destiny's Child. The song is upbeat and kinda different. It's a real good song and it's produced by Rodney Jerkins.
15. Yeah, i love The Surreal Life. I saw most of the 1st episode and Flava is exactly how u expect him 2 be. He's just a cool and funny guy with a big heart. The past seasons aren't bad either. MC Hammer is on the 1st season serving as one of the nicest, funniest, and most positive guys i've ever seen. Vanilla Ice waz on the 2nd season and i hated him since he came out. 2 see him on that show being himself make me like him. It's great seeing these emcees doing real things not in music videos...not 2 mention all fo the other people on the show.
16. Man, that album cover isn't anything compared 2 the video. He looks alot more like him (AND TRIES 2) alot more than the album cover there allows u 2 see. I can't believe people play themselves like this fool is. The sad thing, i've seen his video on TV like 3 times this week and i don't get 2 watch that much TV.
17. Shanice isn't new at all. She came out in the late 80's. In 1991 she had a big hit with the jam "I Love Your Smile" (which is when i became a big fan of hers). In 1993 she dropped "21...Ways To Grow" which is a dope album. It had the hit single "Somewhere"...she came back in 1999 with "Everytime I Close My Eyes" and "Yesterday." Since then she hasn't made much noize but in 2001 she sang on a track on Kenny Lattimore's "Weekend" album. I've only heard a song or 2 by that Marron 5 group, but i really like one of their songs. Infact, most of the rock songs that were nominated 4 awards at the VMA's are songs i would listen 2 when i'd hear them come on the radio.
18. I don't know if u can find it online anywhere. Last time i check MC Hammer's website wazn't even really up and running. The song is very good...the best of all three of the new songs i've heard from him. I agree with what u said about Jadakiss' song "Why" it seemed like he did it just 2 get attention. There's no feeling in that song at all 2 me. I give props 4 the effort but when VH-1's Best Week Ever clowns u like they did, u know something is wrong.
19. I still hate the name of the movie! :daedulus:
20. Compared 2 what Hip-Hop albums sold back then, it didn't really do that bad, it waz just seen as a slight commercial flop cuz of how it waz accepted compared 2 how Public Enemy and NWA waz starting 2 get noticed. This waz also when Young MC and MC Hammer started defining how big Hip-Hop songs could get.
21. The other day i saw the video by Guerilla Black. It waz the most pathetic yet accurate Biggie wananbe i've ever seen. Not only dose this guy look alot like Biggie, but his voice is really husky just like Biggie's. I'm sure the few comparisons in his flow 2 Biggie are no mistakes. The video is even shot in mid-90's Bad Boy style. It's the most desperate attempt i've ever seen in my life. It toally reminds me of when Deathrow signed Realest, a 2Pac wannabe who sounded alot like him, rapped like him and weven tried 2 write like him (not 2 mention being named after that Trapp/2Pac/Biggie "song" "Be The Realist." It's sad when u see people go this far 2 make money.
22. ANYWAYS... Back on topic...i waz listenin' 2 LL Cool J "Feel The Beat" b4 i came in2 the house. That's probably my fav track of the new album. Right not i'm listening 2 Will.I.Am and Phife "Nah Mean."
23. I understand why some people don't want FP's albums 2 be a family affair, but at the same time, family is important 2 him and that's why he dose that. Most rappers go 2 extreems 2 not let fans know or remember that they are married ment with kids. That's stupid 2 me...in my opinion FP is just being as real as can be by putting his life on record like that. I'll never diss an emcee who's being real even if i don't like what i hear...but i'll easily clown all these rappers putting fake lifestyles on their albums, which is what all of them with commercial success are doing.
