Crossing The Boundary - Immortal Technique 17. Last Street Preacha - T-Bone 18. Lord Give Me A Sign - DMX 19. Peruvian Cocaine - Immortal Technique 20. The Sanction - T-Bone as you can tell, that's only 20 tracks, but my mp3 player only gives a top 20 and my computer media player doesnt have a most played list. i listen to a lot more stuff on my comp, when im on my mp3 i listen to my favorite stuff more so thats why that list only has like 5 or 6 different artists on it.
  2. i listened to it yesterday, its aight.
  3. one of the first steps to remixing is getting the beat to match the words. you'll have to speed up or slow down the beat to get it to match will's vocals. basically, this remix isnt better than any remix i or anyone else can make, all you did it put an instrumental to an acapella using a program. theres more work to be done to make a good remix.
  4. maybe i'll have to listen to them side to side. if you have to listen to them side to side just to notice the difference is it even worth it tho?
  5. i dont get what the big deal is with remastered n ****. its just a gimmick to me, it sounds the same as the old stuff, it's just that the volume is perked up a bit.
  6. :hmm: no, that's rap my friend, hip-hop has no meaningless stuff. other than that i agree with you
  7. that's the same tracklisting tower records had up too a while ago, but the legacy site still says theres open spots. i will be very disapointed if there isnt one b-side or unreleased remix on this compilation. if there isnt anything new, i probably wont buy this album for a long time.
  8. where'd u find that track? im interesting in hearin it
  9. yo Happy Birthday Kev!
  10. thanx 4 that, the 2nd tracklisting definitely looks better. i will have to pick this up sometime after it drops
  11. well looking at the playoffs now, Ted's predictions werent too far off. the playoffs are really getting exciting now. im picking Miami and Dallas to move onto the finals, but i think both the eastern and western conference finals will go 7 games
  12. what they do is a good track, but i havent seen the video, thanx Brakes. btw, what they do is from Illadelph Halflife, the only album i own from them. edit: wow it says the video has been removed!
  13. naw dude that Switch remix aint reggaeton. Elephant Man aint really reggaeton and the song doesnt sound like what my definition of reggaeton is.
  14. it's dope to see the West getting recognized but i have 2 points to make. 1. hieroglyphics is NOT hyphy music and 2. most hyphy music sucks. E40 and 2 Short are the best artists, but a lot of these underground artists you'll see in this documentary only talk about going "stupid dumb and hyphy" and smokin purps. most of these bay MC's would get lyrically torn up by a real MC but the reason they are popular is because of what they are reppin nevertheless it'll be dope to see since i grow up in a hyphy area and see this stuff all the time. edit: the first paragraph of the article says the series will begin airing at 5:00 on the 22nd but the schedule shows it starting on the 29th. anyone know what it really is? i guess i will have to tune in at 5:00 today and see if its on or not.
  15. Will is anti-cussing and has always wanted to make music for all ages to listen to. in movies, he can't really control his lines to that extent. it would be very strange to have an actor that refused to use cuss words because all of them are supposed to be pretending to play someone else, not themselves. Will probably does say bad words in his life sometimes so he probably doesnt mind using them in a movie, but his philosophy on music is that it should be real and it should be appropriate for his kids to listen to also.
  16. HAPPY BIRTHDAY COOKIES!! enjoy being 19 :lolsign:
  17. i've been fighting to control this issue from the start, looks like it keeps coming back. glad to see action was takem. grow up Mark.
  18. wow, this topic turned to Lil Wayne?? seriously, i mean people are entitled to their own opinions, but to throw Lil Wayne into the topic?? i can understand how you can think hes good, but to say he's better than LL?? i personally think hes trash and if u say that he's better than LL i have to question your hiphop credibility. of couse as usual when Ted gets into a topic is gets lead off track, lol.
  19. Jamie Kennedy is funny, the idea is funny, but the show itself doesnt actually have that many funny lines. i definitely like the idea and the raps are pretty laid back and chill and i like the track with Bob Saggett. hopefully this show will grow on me as i keep watching
  20. im sure that took you a while Fre$h Prince, so thank u very much! i enjoyed reading that a lot and i liked JJ's comments about rappers who are in it for the money.
  21. nice pics tim, thanx 4 sharin! i like the shirt that Skillz had on at the end, i want one of those!
