  2. great job!! i like the beat and thanx 4 shouting my name out!
  3. yeah he mentioned in his newest album how he worked with Beyonce and Cuba Gooding in a movie but i never knew what movie that was. so thanx 4 informing me i will have to check it out.
  4. lol i dont even listen to Kanye that much but i would say he has some lyrics that just dont mean anything. im not gonna give instances since i dont remember which songs they were from, but if u want one example just look at this song right here, Number 1 or whatever its called. i heard it, and it was either the lyrics before he made the JJFP reference or after, but they made no sense to me, and i could hardly understand what he was getting at.
  5. *DISCLAIMER* if you aren't christian and don't like the idea of it being used in rap music than maybe this post isn't for you guys, i've been listening to a lot of rap lately, and one of the peope i've been listening to is T-Bone. i originally bought his music cuz it was christian rap and i wanted to hear what it was like. i soon learned that it's more than just Christian music. this is hip-hop at its finest. T-Bone is a latino rapper with some of the dopest lyrics and wordplay out there and his flow is sick at times. he's all about ol skool hip hop roots with a new flava and all about cleaning up the streets. i uploaded 7 tracks that i hope all of you will check out cuz i promise it won't dissapoint. i've given a description of the tracks for those of you who don't want to listen to any religious songs. Bounce this is a song all about cars and how they ride in Cali. dope lyrics, with mentions of cleanin up the streets Shake Ya Body a dance track all about havin a good time, the 2nd verse flow is crazy! 12 Years Ago all about how he came up in the game and how it's changed since back then, when hip-hop was what music was Last Street Preacha this song is one of my absolute favs. all about how he knows what goes on in the streets and how he's out to change it *some religious references A Few Good Men "all we need is just a few good men, cuz aint too many left like bone and mack 10" - that says it all, a collabo with Mack 10 as crazy as it may sound Conversion dope beat, dope rhymes, all about how he's trying to convert people and show them the way that he knows, does contain religious references tho Wipe Your Tears this is the deepest, most meaningful, touching track out of all. the other tracks had dope beats and ill lyrics. this track is straight from the heart, like Will's Tell Me Why. its all about when u feel like crap and nothins goin right and how you can find an uplifting source in God. *does contain religious references please check some of these out guys!! for those of you that like ol skool, i recommend 12 Years Ago. for those like that like a rough edge, try Last Street Preacha and Bounce. for those who like a concious gospel message, check Conversion and Wipe Your Tears. don't sleep on this talent!
  6. T-Bone - Bounce i dont care what religion you are, T-Bones message and flow is unbeatable. don't sleep on him, check his work.
  7. thanx a lot guys!! i feel so special! :gettinjiggywitit:
  8. y'all might remember my last poem i did about my car... my teacher wanted me to write a more serious poem with something i could expand on more so i decided to write about my neighborhood and what its like and how my life contrasts that. probably my best writing yet, i've really developed (and will continue to) since i started writing. i got an A on this so im pleased. btw, its a spoken word poem, so its not really meant to flow so i know it doesnt always flow :kekeke: The train rumbles by behind a street called Main A street where slang and cocaine reign supreme A street where none of the residents have any dreams In my hood we got our own acronym that goes MSG That’s main street gangsta and that’s what you gotta be Drug dealers walk the streets cautiously from time to time Homeless drunks stumbling around begging for dimes My hood consists of fake thugs roamin the streets I feel sorry for em sometimes, they don’t got anything to eat My hood consists of drug infested apartments, blunt ashes hittin the carpet Young latino teens walk down the street smoking and drinking, out on the look though “Oh sh!t, here come the 50, quick hop the fence yo!” 10 people living in backyards, renting out sheds How can you live when you don’t have a proper bed? Better yet how can you pay rent when all your money is spent On alcohol and drugs, scrambling for every last cent Last week saw my neighbor sick, being helped out to the car, he looked like sh!t Alcohol poisoning? liver disease? kidney failure? probably all of it Bright red shirts that read SC reflect the heat of the day When you’re bored, out in the streets is where you play Football in the street, nobody retreats until the oncoming traffic beeps It’s a hectic life you see but I do my best not to let it influence me I am greeted by the aroma of a clean house Any time I want, I can recline on the couch The front yard gleams with beautiful plants and a large tree The back yard has a spa and a fresh cut lawn that is green The inside of my house is clean, clear of clutter Home cooked meals are the best, made by my mother There’s always food in the fridge when I gotta eat My parents shell out the bucks to put shoes on my feet You see my parents made an effort to keep me out the street So now I’m going to college and my career will be sweet When I look at these kids roaming the streets, they got nothing No food, no family, no hope, give ‘em something I’m glad I’m not living life out in that captivity My family and friends keep me away from those activities I see these kids fighting in the street like almost everyday I’ve been shown that violence and fighting isn’t the way You’ll find yourself in prison, alive in the grave In an orange suit working as a government slave I’ve been shown that hard work and knowledge is the way And one day that hard work and knowledge is gonna pay I wish I could show these people how they’re wasting their day But I guess the only thing I can do is kneel and pray The reason I wrote this is to tell you to use your brain There are a number of things that can make your life go down the drain Don’t let peer pressure or popularity overcome your common sense Cause if you do, you might be the homeless man scrambling for change and cents Nobody wants to die so I pray to the sky that all of you don’t turn into that guy Slangin them drugs, hangin with thugs, and braggin that he bustin them slugs Like Mr. Carson [[my teacher]] said you gotta be true and realize that you gotta be you And if you think the true you is drinkin’ that brew, then maybe you need to re-evaluate who are you
  9. you're pretty quick to diss but you dont really want none of this you know i keep it real meanwhile i'm tryna feel where the hell you at cuz you talk a lot of jack i aint really one to diss people writing my freestyles im just developing my skills and developing my style all the while trying to add abundant alliteration and other writing techniques to strengthen my creation i just started doin this thing and i already since separation from my peers and i see visions of taking over this nation my rhymes just hit your eyes and pinched em, you asian yeah i said it and i could keep on writing for days and days and i'll admit that i'm not great with wordplay like Tim or aggressive like Joe but with these freestyles my skills continue to grow as i let myself go i'm on a mental high right now enabling my poetic flow and with that imma sign off and let the next person go
  10. give him a break. he cant even speak english, he might not have meant it exactly how he said it. still funny tho
  11. thats really bad man, i will keep you and your mom in my thoughts.

  13. cant wait to get this!! it really sounds dope, thanx 4 pumpin me up AJ! i cant wait to blast this in my car
  14. i dont really know how to do that, but i would assume it would be hard when ur as young as you are. it would seem like the easier way is to know someone who knows someone that can hook u up but i dunno if its really that easy.
  15. i would assume you need a connection or somethin
  16. that was hype!! thanx 4 finding that tim
  17. i understand your point, but please notice that Jim has been here since the beginning of this board and you havent and he's got a lot more credibility and respect from the regulars here. just warning you in case you decide to pick a bone with him.
  18. fun video, fun raps, and Jamie K has his own style that can be pretty good at times. overall i like Jamie and his music, but one thing that came off to me in this video was the fakeness. sure it's funny, but the whole lesbian girls (as much as i enjoyed it) is taking it a little past comedy. still overall i think its good fun rap.
  19. good job, reminded me a little bit of Tonedeff and Krayzie Bone. i could probably type the lyrics up if it didnt have the UK accent on it, thats harder for me to understand than the speed of it! lol
  20. i've never read or heard from a legit source that Will dissed Jeff or that Jeff ever expressed anger towards Will. Jeff has never wanted to be in the spotlight, and probably wasn't as interested in acting as he was in doing his ATOJ thing so i dont think his role in FPOBA made him upset. even in BWS, Jeff did scratching so the rumor that they made up around the Potnas time is untrue.
  21. in no order Uuhhh The Rain Potnas Tell Me Why The Magnificent Jazzy Jeff Brand New Funk Summertime Twinkle Twinkle Lost & Found Afro Angel i could keep going too... lol
