For example, look at Eminem's D12, Nelly's St. Lunatics, 50 Cent's G-Unit, and Ludacris' Disterbing The Peace. They are just a bunch of incredibly talent-inclined ignorant fools who are piggy-back riding some success off their already successful friend. MC Hammer has some of those guys on his last album Active Duty but with the production stepped up a notch on this new album, it's a better outlet 2 display their skill. It's good 2 see some fresh talent that actually has some.

This is the wrong place 2 come when it comes 2 hearing album music. There's no excuse 2 not buy any of JJ+FP's albums if u are a fan who wants 2 hear their music.

I waz watching part of an episode of MTV's Made (that show where people try 2 do something they don't do or be something u aren't) and for like 10 seconds, they played "1,000 Kisses." Just thought i'd share...of course there is no released version of the Instruemental so u hear FP go "uh." :roll:

The Will Smith + Tra-Knox thing waz strictly done for Born To Reign. FP said he wanted 2 have a group enviornment 2 create the album since he waz focusing on other things at the time. On top of that, Tra-Knox's album waz supposed 2 come out a few months later so it waz a great way 2 promote them. There isnt' gonna be anymore full albums with them 2gether. I definitly want them 2 work 2gether in the future tho.' They are some talented guys...but i don't think B2R waz the right sound 4 them.

DJ Jazzy Jeff didn't do any work on Born To Reign. :sad6:

Jazzy Jeff scratched on "Yes Yes Y'all" but Trackmasters produced it. Jazzy Jeff's scratches were actually turned down and taken off the track. On early BWS snippet/samplers u can hear Jeff scratches all over the song.

Number 3!!! That's amazing!!! Jill Scott isn't super commercial like Ashanti so i'm really impressed with how she's done without alot of help from TV and radio (from my knowlege). Go on, Jill!!! It's great seeing an album this good do this well. 1st week sales are a big part of how it continues 2 sell, let's hope more sales follow. Hopefully this will also re-spark the industry interest in DJ Jazzy Jeff + A Touch of Jazz just like her 1st album did.

Yeah, i've got like 2 of their albums, Chuck D's solo album, and 3 singles. They've been one of my favorite groups that i just never bought many albums by.

I like that new female R-N-B singer Ciera. She dosen't really sing much on her 1st single "Goodies"...but something about that song is cool 2 me. I like Lloyd's song with Ashanti "Southside"...that song is beautiful. Stupid video tho.' Leave it Murder Inc. 2 make a stupid video 2 a good song.

I think i have a flyer in one of the DVD's i've bought that advertises this movie. I guess it's good that she's busy...but not with the kinda movies she dose. College has seemed 2 hurt her career a bit. I hope she bounces back soon. Oh yeah...and WHERE'S THE NEW ALBUM?!?

Mike retired in 2002 due 2 health problems. Back in 2000 i remember reading he has some serious back problems and missed some of their touring. Boyz II Men waz on 106 + Park last Friday and i caught some of the interview. They talked about doing all those covers. They basically just recorded TONS of songs and limited it down 2 what they thought waz the best. They were asked if they had any of their own songs that they hope never got covered by other groups. They said that they didn't object 2 anyone covering their songs, but that 60 million people might not be happy with someone who messed it up (refurring 2 the 60 million people who've bought BIIM albums). They said that the concept of the album came from fans coming up 2 them saying "hey, you guys should cover a song by (fill in the blank). They talked about owning their own company and being more than artists but also taking care of the business side of things themselves. Free also had them do some stuff acapella and they nailed it...the finished it off with "End of The Road." Boyz II Men is one of the most talented groups EVER and also a group of the nicest guys u could ever meet. They deserve so much more respect and attention than they these days.

Well, FP has been pretty quiet about the album. All the news that we have on it as been peiced 2gether from a bunch of different interviews. Since the album is scheduled 2 drop December/January, we know it can't be any later than that. FP dosen't seem incredibly anxious 2 just drop the new music quite yet. I hope he dose it very soon tho'...b4 the Sharktale soundtrack comes out.

"She Will Be Loved"...i probably heard the others but don't know the titles. I'm not a big fan of rock music, but i hear alot of popular rock stuff whenever i put on my local Top 40 radio station mixed in with other stuff i listen 2 (and stuff i don't wanna listen 2).
