YEAH!! I'm hyped!! That's a nice way 2 follow up a day where i spend all my money on The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air on DVD, Sharktale, and the Hitch soundtrack. Spread the word people.

I havn't seen the video yet....i'm waiting 2 see how i'll like it when i finally do. My man Jayson didn't like the song that much...but then he saw the video and loved it, which made him like the song more. Alot of rappers rely on good videos 2 make their crappy songs sucessful. In FP's case, i don't think any of us think it's a bad song...some of us just wanted one thing and got another...but the video sounds like it's capable of making us like it more. I like the song, but i think the video will make me love it.

COCO LEE - I Will Be Your Friend This is a nice breezy R-N-B/Pop song. It plays at my work, i liked the song, then found her CD used for only $3. :roll: About Brian McKnight...his new album comes out next Tuesday!! I plan on picking it up along with the Hitch soundtrack, Omarion's album, Sharktale on DVD, and the 1st season of The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air. Lord be with my poor credit card.

I think "Yo! Home To Bel-Air" is the best known Hip-Hop song ever. Whenever the songs comes on, every single one of my friends starts rapping it. No matter their background, they all know it. Alot of my friends also have it as the ringer on their cellphones.

This is probably just a rumor. Don't u think the news would have gotten around more if it's true. Maybe the radio station that did the interview will have it on their site tho.' If he pokes some fun at Eminem, i think that would be hilarious...but i don't really care if he dose. I'm pretty sure we asked Ready Rock C about "Nightmare On My Street" and that he said he played Freddie Kruger. When asked about it, he said he waz talking about the live performance...not the video. Since the song is so old, i think they would have worked out some kinda legal thing where the video would have been available by now. Think about it, it's been over a decand since those Freddie movies were really popular and FP is so freakin' rich, he could have taken steps 2 getting it approved.

FP is very good as taking non-Hip-Hop fans and gettin' them in2 his stuff. That's what i always do tho'...play his/their stuff in the car around fans 2 spark their interest in his music.

Read my post again...i'm not comparing "Switch" and "Yeah!" musically...i'm saying that i think "Switch" will be like "Yeah!" in the sense that the lead single of the album won't represent the album properly. "Yeah!" wazn't Usher's usual style, but he used as a lead single and it waz huge...but when u listen 2 his album, none of the other trax are like it....that's what i think "Switch" will be like. When we finally hear the album, none of the songs will be like it.

It's kinda amazing how so many people registered and posted JUST 2 get "Switch." I think it waz a good idea 2 take it down...but by doing that, we are taking away a big promotional tool. I think a snippet of the song should be up there. Maybe like a verse and a hook...than it fades. Maybe even put a tag on it like "brought 2 u by JJ+FP.com." While alot of people popped in just 4 the track, it dosen't mean that they won't go out and get that album. How are we gonna motivate them unless they get a taste of the track. Remember, this is the time 2 have FP's back cuz he needs 2 make a real comeback with this album. Afterall, "Swich" proved how hoppin' this site can be by breakin' the mold, let's not just throw all that out the door. Oh yeah, 2 those of u who have "Switch" up on your own sites, i think it's a good idea 2 put up a snippet as well. Remember how the BWS stuff got put all over the internet....we don't want that 2 happen again. What do y'all think about the snippet idea?

Yeah, i can only take Elephant Man in small doses...hopefully it's just that remix. I think he'd fit in since the drums in "Switch" have a dash of island flava 2 them.

Yeah, i have a feeling "Switch" is like Usher's "Yeah." It's a slightly-out-of-character track 2 bring in 2 the new album....but when u get it, no other trax on the album are like it...but it still fits right in.
