  1. I doubt i'll get 2 catch much of it, but i've been looking forward 2 it. MTV used 2 have MJ Marathons all the time in the 90's...but they've sold him out, after all the things he did for MTV. Have they aired his Ghosts mini-movie...that thing is insane. I like that better than Thriller.
  2. I know exactly what u mean...a few years ago i waz playing Spin Da Bottle and i had 2 kiss this girl that waz like 4 years younger than me. At that time, our age gap waz a lil' weird...so i just gave her a peck on the lips. Someone took a picture and it looks really bad...ha ha...both of us have our eyes shut, her hand on my shoulder, but it waz very innoncent...but the picture dosen't support that. Years have gone by and we both did a show last spring where we were playing oppisite of each other as lovers. Now the age gap is no big deal so i put it down.
  3. Eva's alright...but give me Selma Hayek (sp?) or Gabrielle Union 1st.
  4. Some of us have been down since WAAAY b4 he started calling himself "Will Smith." 2 some of us, he'll always be Fresh Prince. Asking us 2 change how we refur 2 him would be just as ignorant as me asking others 2 not call him Will Smith. And he's NEVER said he didn't wanna be called the Fresh Prince. He still wears his "Fresh Prince" diamond necklace from time 2 time. He's refured 2 himself as the Fresh Prince at least once on each album he's done. One Willennium, he credits himself as The Fresh Prince in the executive producer credits and also for the song "Pump Me Up." In an MTV interveiew in 1997, he was asked if he would go by Fresh Prince or Will Smith. He said he left it blank on the paperwork cuz old heads are always gonna call him Fresh Prince, but that newer fans would call him Will Smith. There's the facts.
  5. I have his 2nd album, but honestly, i don't listen 2 it that much. I waz expecting something different when i got it. I remember liking a few of the trax, but some of them i thought were just kinda average. I'll have 2 give it another listen.
  6. If that picture waz cropped further back, u'd see me in the backseat. :sonny:
  7. I wouldn't consider the song a hit yet. It still has ways 2 go.
  8. Man, u really don't get this. The whole point of this post is 2 make up what FP is saying while making that face. It's just a silly way 2 see who can get the funniest quote.
  9. Thanx!! It's always a pleasure 2 read stuff like this.
  10. What's kinda funny is that it's grown in2 2 different music styles. I always talk about the difference between Hip-Hop music and Rap music, but it's gotten so outta hand that there should be 2 seperate sections in music stores 4 them...different radio stations 2 listen 2. Think about it, music fans who don't require a high standard for what music they listen 2 can listen 2 the Rap station filled with alot of artists who have no talent or intellegence. Back 2 back commercial hits from G-Unit, Lil' Jon, Chingy, Ja-Rule, The Game, and so on. Hip-Hop heads would then have a station where they could tune in2 people like LL Cool J, A Tribe Called Quest, Shock-G, Black Eyed Peas, and of course FP. They really aren't the same kinds of music anymore.
  11. I've never heard of him until they talked about the "Switch" remix. However, i think "Fall Again" is one of the best Michael Jackson songs ever.
  12. So this is the kinda people Dr. Dre works with these days? No wonder Snoop wanted 2 work with me so badly.
  13. I contacted the person/people in charge of the board over there saying that they need an active moderator over there. I also let them know i did it for 3 years when he waz with Columbia. Alot of those people in charge of those sites aren't active so i don't even expect a reply...but i figured it waz worth a try.
  14. SALT-N-PEPA + EN VOGUE - Whatta Man (Luvbug Remix) BORN JAMERICANS - Send My Love (Send One Your Love)
  15. I agree with pretty much all of that. Commercial Rap is a disgrace and i think in some of those comment, Chuck D is giving most of them 2 much credit even tho' he's dissing them. I don't see how someone like Nelly could say they look up 2 old skool legends like Public Enemy and then make the kinda music they make. That's just fake. If u love Hip-Hop, u'd be original and u'd wanna take the music 2 the next level. If u aren't doing that, then u are spitting on the name of Hip-Hop. That's why i don't respect 50 Cent, D12, G-Unit, and so many others. They don't care about it, they don't care about the music they make, they just wanna be famous and make money.
  16. I don't see anything really wrong with it 4 the most part. As an actor myself, i've had a handful of stage kisses and some of them are okay...and some of them are magical...ha ha. It's hard 2 keep your lips off somebody u have insane chemistry with and u already have 2 kiss them...but i'll stop my story there. It's showbiz, i wouldn't take it 2 seriously. Besides, since i've been thru' that, i can point out crazy chemistry and i don't think FP and Eva really have chemistry like that.
  17. Well, apparently FP saw something in various artists that made him wanna work with them. I really don't see him working with somebody just 2 help sales...his mind dosen't work like that. I'm thinkin' he may have met certain artists b4 and got 2 know them, which made him wanna work with them. In 2002, FP threw that "Will Smith + Friends" even during the All-Star Game week and he had Ludacris headline it.
  18. TRICK DADDY, LIL' KIM, + CEE LO - Sugar I'm not a big fan of any of them, but i love this song!!
  19. By the way, their talking in the beginning isn't on the actual song. It's just a voice over they did 4 the video.
  20. i got hyped 4 a second...but if u look closer "Summertime" is the JJ+FP song on it.
  21. DMX - Get At Me Dog New skool gritty street stuff at it's best.
  22. Well, since all of them but Petey Pablo are producers, maybe that's all they contributed...not lyrics. I prefer hearing Ludacris producing rather than rapping. I'd like 2 hear FP over a Kanye West beat, but i think he's overrated.
