TRACK WHERE SWITCH IS PLAYING
JumpinJack AJ replied to cataboy3's topic in Jazzy Jeff & Fresh Prince
YEAH!! -
That cover dosn't match the promo single i have on it's way 2 me. The promo dosne't have a cover, but the style of the CD is all white with "Will Smith" in black and "Switch" in red, very basic fonts. Usually the designes and colors are similar...not in this case.

I don't have anything against Justin Timberlake. His solo music has made him proove himself 2 me...but i prefer 2 NOT have him on that album. He should put that song on a soundtrack.

It's amazing what some people consider "gangsta." God forbid FP wear any baggy cloths or a hat 2 da back. As if he hasn't done that his entire career?!? And there's a difference between the ladies u'll find in a FP video and the hoe's u'll find in a Nelly video. The ladies in FP's videos might show some skin from time 2 time, but they are gorgous and are presented tastefully...not strictly objects of lust. When u see a Nelly music video w/ girls, they are unattractive and don't take care of themselves, and they are wearing almost nothing. Reguardless, girls in a music video dosen't mean anything. Look at what some of the girls wore in the "WWW" music video...is that gangsta?!?

Lost and Found ALBUM COVER

Yeah, they did a few trax 4 the album...so we can definitly expect something. The album wouldn't be "found" without him. -
FRESH PRINCE HITTING YOUR MUSIC/MOVIES STORES
JumpinJack AJ replied to JumpinJack AJ's topic in Jazzy Jeff & Fresh Prince
2day is the last day 2 get all that stuff at the sale prices. When i got The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air Season 1 DVD, the Sharktale DVD, and the Hitch soundtrack, it came 2 about $50. -
4 those of u who went out 2 see Hitch 2day...describe your experience and what u thought about the movie. Here's my experience... I saw the late nite showing (i worked a looooong shift). I took my friend Diana and we showed up really early. There waz already a good amount of people in the theater when we got there. We got perfect seats. The entire theater quickly got packed. There were so many people in there that u could hardly hold a conversation cuz there were so many people talking. The audience waz filled with all ages, colors, and walks of life. The people who worked at the theater actually had 2 come in and make people move over 2 cram as many people as they could in the theater!! I'd never seen anything like it. The audience responded very good 2 the movie...especially the comedy. Overall, i really liked the movie. I totally related myself 2 FP's character. I often see myself as an expert on relationships and the oppisite sex...but there are definitly times when i find out i'm all wrong. The truth in the script is amazing at times. The movie has an off-beat kinda humor at times, but unless u have no imagination, u can appriciate it. There waz 1 or 2 moments where it got a lil' slow...but over all, a very good movie and a total departure from anything he's ever done. 2 those of u who are sleepin'...GO CHECK THE MOVIE THIS WEEKEND!! Let's make FP crack the number spot 3 times this year!!

So, u are saying that back in 1999, when a whole bunch of Jordan Knight fans voted a New Kids On The Block song 2 number 1 on TRL, they were speaking 4 the world? C'mon, this charts and countdowns are jokes. Most of the people u participate in them are young people who don't know what real music is. That's how music by The Game and 50 Cent reach the top. As FP fans, it's our job 2 get the music out there. If it takes us voting alot of times 2 get the song on the countdowns, people will finally hear/see it and like it, which will lead 2 more people supporting it. There's thousands of possible fans, but since they haven't heard the song or seen the video, the won't vote 4 it. It's our responciblity 2 take that 1st step. My days are filled with real-world issues in life, but i still vote 4 that kinda stuff 2 get him out there. It's not just for FP, it's for Hip-Hop. Look at what's being played...it all sux!! The Game and 50 Cent are jokes. They have these lazy voices and no real lyrics. Support FP and help put a touch of flava back in Hip-Hop.

Lost and Found ALBUM COVER
JumpinJack AJ replied to DevilsJim89's topic in Jazzy Jeff & Fresh Prince
That is ill...looks like da 'Prince has found his way home. Even if it isn't the album cover, it's a promo shot 4 the album which means the album cover will look very similar and have the same vibe. About that 1st cover featuring Jeff...it looks like he's standing in the middle of the road. I hope Floetry hasn't jacked the ATOJ car, he may need 2 watch his back! -
Yeah, i got it. The people who say that don't have the money should have known better...we've know the release date 4ever. One thing i read a few years ago is that online orders don't count towards the overall sales. Is that true?
-
SAMANTHA MUMBA - Don't Need You To Tell Me I'm Pretty I gotta ignore the title of this song and say that she is absolutly gorgous.
-
I don't really know what 2 expect...but i've never cared about numbers. I just think it's important 2 go out and see it the weekend it drops. I'm seeing it 2morrow nite and probably on V-Day as well.
-
For those of you who plan on getting it, it's only $9.99 at Circuit City. It's only gonna be at that sale price for 2day (Friday) and Saturday. Save some money and get it now. I think my review is pretty honest, so unless it sounds like something u want, don't get it. From my knowledge on people's taste, i only see a few of the people on these boards liking it.
-
Ha, my mom has a Ford Taurus 2!! Anyways, i've always loved "Y'all Know" cuz it's a straight forward rap song. It's not flashy or overdone...it's Hip-Hop at it's simplest and it served as a very cool intro 2 BWS. I'd never call it the best song, but it's defintly dope.
-
 Welcome 2 the board!! I think FP will still get by without the support of one Canadian radio station.
-
Don't trip...just vote 4 it, support it, and get the word out there.
-
FP's style isn't really any different. It's just the year 2005, ya know? His lyrics are actually more like his older stuff than his stuff on Columbia. The sound is experimental, but FP has taking his music 2 different places on every album. He's not selling out his style at all. If u got down with him during his reign on Columbia, i could see how "Switch" may seem as a departure from his more recent stuff...but he's not doing anything his hasn't done b4...he's just more focused right now. There isn't gonna be any cussing or gangsta rubbish on the album.
-
Yeah, that waz taking on the set of Enemy of The State. 1997/1998.
-
DESTINY'S CHILD - Soilder VH-1 aired it...so luckly it waz the Radio Edit without T.I. and Lil' Wayne. Still the weakest song on the album, but the lack of presence from those garbage rappers makes it a lil' better.
-
I think the Making-Of episode waz during the 4th or 5th season. I've only seen it aired once, which i waz lucky enuff 2 have taped. I'm assuming they'll include it on the season it goes with, but there's no way 2 look that far ahead at this point.

Boy, u must be on dog food.

Where did u read she waz in the "Summertime" video. I'm not buying it...that video waz filled with family and friends from Philly.
