Well, here in the US, music stores are alot more that just music. Pretty much ever music store is now filled with DVDs, videos games, and goofy stuff like stand-up and crazy key chains.

AHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!! THANK U!! This is the stuff i dream of coming across. Classic new pictures and a new interview...which is HILARIOUS!! After hearing so many of their interviews, i can hear exactly how this interview went in my head. This is one of the best things 2 hit the board in awhile.

2Pac waz attacking him 4 things done off wax. 2pac took Biggie under his wing and let him perform at his shows. Biggie waz part of that Thug Live movement (not the group), but when 2pac went 2 jail, that all changed. Biggie waz working with Bad Boy, Puffy changed his image (compare "Party And Bull$#!+" and Heavy D's "A Bunch of N!gg@z" to his Bad Boy stuff). He ditched 2Pac's Thug Live movement, then jacked the formula that Pac used on Me Against The World (talking about death and stuff he didn't have like money and girls). Biggie success put him on the same level that 2Pac waz at commercially but wazn't giving props 2 him. On top of that, 2Pac believed that when he got shot and checked 4 his jewely in NY, that Biggie new about it and kept telling him 2 watch out but never told him when it waz going 2 happen. Last year i watch a Biggie special on VH-1 and one of Biggie's friends or family said that when they met up backstage at an award show that Biggie stopped 2Pac (in the middle of all the beef) and waz like "what are you doing?" And 2Pac waz like "i gotta do what i gotta do, and this is getting us both more sales." I don't now if that's legit or not or a just a PR move. Either way, there it is in a nut shell. There is one Biggie line that pokes fun at the beef. Since i'm not a Biggie fan, i don't know what song it is (one of my friends back in the day had it) where Biggie had a line that said something like "if Faith has kids / it's probably 2Pac's."

I think it waz just creative differences that pulled them apart. They were fighting their old label for back royalties and went 2 court 2gether a few months ago. I wish they'd do something 2gether again. I got Eric B.'s solo album from the late 90's...i didn't know he could rap...ha ha. The production wazn't bad but it waz a littled dated.

Jim, did u get his autograph? :hilarious:
-
Yes he did!! We've talked about this b4. Will's clothing line Williewear waz out in the early/mid 90's...but it wazn't distributed in a big way.

Sorry, i actually don't set my friends up with any of my girls. :hilarious: Right now i'm single, so if my ex dosen't come back 2 me, i need 2 keep my options open.

I don't listen 2 either of them. But i've heard alot of people saying Jadakiss came out on top when it comes 2 their lil' immature feud.

Easy..."Hit 'Em Up." That track is ill. He came so relentless...he ripped theentire Bad Boy camp effortlessly.

Assuming these are like some of the things in my collection, here's what i can add... I'm looking for the one to be with me (promo) This probably is the version which has the same tracklisting as the US CD single, but instead of having "Get Hype" (the b-side), it has the instrumental in it's place. Boom shake! the room (UK CD1 7 track single inc. street mix) This is probably the US version that has the album version, the Street Remix, and the slightly re-worked Mr. Lee Remix, alone with the Street Remix Bonus Beats (aka instrumental). It also has "From Da South" (b-side) or the instrumental of "Boom!..." Summertime (4 track cd single) If this is from '91, it has the DJ Jazzy Jeff Remix on it along with a very shortened version of "Girls..." Boom shake! the room (1993 UK 2 track cassete single) This should have the b-side "From Da South" on it. Rock the house (12" original 1987 LP) Yeah, as long as this is from 1987, it's the original version with a different cover. It has a remixed version of "Girls..." a slightly altered version of "Rock The House" and different version of "Don't Even Try It." I'm looking for the one to be with me (single) If this is the US version, it has the b-side "Get Hyped" on it. It also has slightly altered versions of the track (the best being and extended version).

Wes pretty much said everything i know. They wern't on Jive. I think they were more of JJ+FP Philly crew, i'm not sure. I do remember lookin' up info on them online years ago and other than the fact that El-Sid did and album (which i'm not sure if it waz released), that was it.

No, that is part of his clothing line!! Every few months something pops up from the Williwear line. They put alot of cloths on ebay and discribe the style as something he'd wear on the show, which have nothing 2 do with him, but this shirt is actually from his old clothing line. If it wazn't that much money, i'd go 4 it. I'm known for being out of fashion. :hilarious:

Ha ha...never thought he had an umbrella. The pictures were taken in the sunshine. FP is even squinting his eyes it's so bright. I doubt they needed an umbrella on that day.

I haven't heard any news, but i'm dying 4 the new album. Basically him and Dre had creative differences and that project fell apart. I thought that Dre's work with Rakim would re-establish his image as a Hip-Hop legend...as opposed 2 the mockery he's making of himself working with G-Unit and Eminem. Rakim is still working on the album and he still wants Dre 2 do work on it. Either way, he needs 2 comeback and save Hip-Hop!! FP should do a remix of "Lost + Found" with Rakim on a verse!!

I'm gonna say this. I've always hated Vanilla Ice. When he 1st came out and millions of people were diggin' him, i waz hatin'...ha ha. He waz just a huge MC Hammer rip-off. The fact that he waz white waz his biggest selling gimmick. When he got a lil' gangsta on his 2nd album, i clowned him all over again. Since then he dipped in2 a rock and stuff like that. The drug addiction, suicidal thoughts, and family problems weren't a jokin' matter, but it made me feel kinda sorry 4 him. However, when i waz watching Surreal Life (Season 2, which featured him), i actually thought he waz a cool guy. Years after he waz in the lime light, we got 2 see what's he's really about. I don't know if i'll support his music, but i won't diss him anymore. I saw the commercial 4 this VH-1 show and i'll definitly watch it. I thougth it waz hilarious when they tried 2 get him 2 do all this stuff and he kept saying no. It should be really entertaining.

I think it will. If the song is a success at all, i think it will hit "black radio." Think about it, the topic is universal...it's bigger than Hip-Hop. Besides, the song is really good and Mary J. Blige is on it. I think it's a good single choice...even if i think summer is 2 early 4 it.
-
...same reason. :hilarious: Just playin'...his show is kinda funny. Conan O'Brien gets alot of B-level celebs while someone like Letterman gets mostly A-level celebs.

I don't see why everyone makes such a bid deal about old skool style. I mean, most of us were alive back then, so the style shouldn't be that much of a 'shock.'

Japan always gets the bonus trax and remixes. Marketing overseas vs. prices and all kinds of other politics that i don't even know about are the reason 4 overseas bonus trax. Japan releases are always the rarest and most expensive. There is stuff released in Japan that we will never know about. That's just the way things are.

I have a feeling the snippet of this track will be up soon. :wiggle:
