I like the original ending better. This alternate ending felt kind of cheesy to me. These "mutants" all of a sudden got a heart and let Will off the hook? That would have been horrible.

At some point Will is going to retire from rap. It's inevitable. His discography spans 9 albums and nearly 20 years. Not many cats in hip-hop can boast those kind of stats. If he is done with music then all I can say is thanks for the great music. I'd rather have Will leave the game on his own terms than be pushed out like so many other rappers in the game(at least those who have actual talent). The industry, despite a stellar '07 from the likes of Talib, Common, Lupe and others, is in shambles. The industry as it's constructed now needs to be destroyed.

I agree. The Heat got the better of this deal. Now Miami can build around Wade and Marion. Their situation is not as dismal as it was about 48 hours ago. They still won't make the playoffs in '08 but they'll be in better shape for '08-'09
