I like Julie but i think Brakes was just that bit better. His rhymes were a little more conistant were as JUlie struggled to keep going with the entire 32. Good job guys

NObody better than Will and Jada

Guys why don't we start a new message asking for people to put their name down for the album. Then Tim and Da Brakes can give us a deadline on our track or tracks if we are required to submit more than one. Then we will have an aim to go for and it should get the album ready to send to Will and Jazz

50 is just rubbish

I had a dream recently about Jada. She was in my lounge with Jaden and we were just chatting like old mates. I was telling her Will really needs to get Tell Me Why out there because its awesome and she was agreeing. I must have total respect for Will too because i didn't hit on her once.

Also i think i remember at the time Denzel game Will advice to not do scenes like that because it would alienate his audience. Now theres a man you listen to...

Julie mentioned in the podcast how she liked Born to Reign and I do argee that as an album it isnt as bad as many of us fans on this site say it is. Going through the tracks, i think it makes a pretty decent start with the title track, Act like you Know however is a bit of a stinker and I would probably put it down as my least favourite Will Smith song of all time! however tracks like I Can't Stop, Black Suits Comin', Block Party, Gotta Go Home, Momma Knows, etc are okay. I think the main problem with the record as a whole is that its just not really Will Smith music. At the time I thought it main problem that Will was perhaps just too damn happy! His personaly life was as sorted as it could be with Jada and his kids, career all virtually perfect, so what was there to rap about? So Will basically made an RnB album and he isn't RnB, he's hip-hop old skool and proud of it. That's where it went wrong from my point of view, that's why Lost and Found is such a great album because he has found his niche again and has a lot more to say. It's a totally more organic and freeflowing record. But saying that maybe its time we put Born to Reign down as Will's worse but lay off it knowing that his records form now on are going to get better and better

Willie will get bored if he rests for too long. He deserves the break but his pen will still be working and i reckon he will be itching to get out there and promote Tell me Why. Loretta is awesome in its own right, some parts of it are just brilliant i.e 'you just jealous because Daddy aint as sweet as my Will' and the bit where she is at the oscars. I don't see why Will shouldn't bring it up if he feels he wants to say it. There certainly isn't a problem with it, i reckon it might have got loads of attention if Mr. NIce Guy came out and did really well but its basically a solid album track and i think it works. Will is incredibly intelligent as we know but possibly his greatest asset is his sense of fun and humour and that's what most people love about him. I'm sure we will see his clever side as time goes on and he gets stuck into some heavy roles

This is knid mf my reaction to the podcast, which i think was a great idea and i've enjoyed each one so far. personally i think to label Switch as the reason for the lack of success for party Starter is wrong. Without Switch I don't think we would have had Party Starter and i think we should all count our lucky stars for Switch because it's thrusted Will back into the game. It gets plyed in clubs all the time and that can never be a bad thing, party Starter was not promoted at all by Will because he was shooting so that's it. Will can have no complaints that it only had modest success, usually still amde top 20, because he wasn't out there like he was for Switch. There are a few fans here that seem to resent Switch! I think its brilliant and we should enjoy Switch for years to come. The apparant Will fans that don't like Switch are probably the same ones that don't like Wild Wild West and Will2K. Just because theyw ere singles releeased from a good album, how can you not like Wild Wild West??? I remember when i first heard it i was instantly in love with it and Will2K is great when New Years Eve comes around and your having a party! Okay Freakin It wasn't great compared to the rest of the quality on that album but would anything else have actually sold more records? probably not if were honest, even though the quality of So Fresh, Potnas, Rain, Da Butta and others are clearly better.

What happened to the news that Will was working with Kanye West and Timbaland etc. for Lost and Found? That was posted on this site right? Because Willie and Kanye would be just out of this world. Will and LL would be great too. A few things we all have to see before we die

As an album its superb and it terms of is Big Will back to his best then yes it certainly is a success. Most agree its his best solo album and what more could we wish for than that. In terms of sales I would have liked a little more but I think it still has life in it yet as long as Will can muster up some serious Switch like promotion for 'Tell me Why'. Hopefully he can get Mary on board for the video and promotion and really put some serious effort in to push on after he shoots 'pursuit of happiness'

On the majority of his films Will does ask Jazz to be in them in a small role but Jeff just hasn't taken him up on his offer yet. Jazz was saying he sometimes regrets doing it though when he see's a part a thinks 'damn i could have played that' But it will happen for sure don't you worry about that

On Born to Reign, track 3 'I Can't Stop' is incredible. Will's delivery is ridiculously good and I would beg to get that track on in a club if it were ever released.I have other personal favourites but my mate believes 'I Can't Stop' is Will's best ever. NOt quite sure about that but it is a real bright spot in BTR. I would never get bored of it.

So What's everyone's plan for Big Willie weekend then coming up July 1st - July 4th this year! How are we going to celebrate the weekend og Big Willie? Im going to a friends party as a Will Smith character as my tribute, then obviously a Will Smith marathon movie session on Sunday, music on Monday followed by the traditional watching of Independance day of July 4th. Perfect Big Willie weekend, if onyl there was the traditional Will Smith movie coming out too! Should have released Party Starter.
