  1. nice work dude! my favorite tracks so far are "Like A Little Kid" "coppa" and "stop the clock". I think as your beats get better it will complement your rap really well. The sound quality seems to vary between the tracks although the quality of Apocolypse Now is excellent though, new mic? Although the beats are kinda simple I also think it gives your vocals & lyrics more focus, which is defo good since you're a great lyricist as well. :wickedwisdom:
  2. Congrats Brakes!!! :wickedwisdom: :wickedwisdom:

  5. It doesn't matter if they're popular or not now. It's the concept. A lot of popular and indie artists have myspace pages, and with the bulletins and stuff it's easier to reach out to fans. A JJFP one would be dope. :wickedwisdom:
  6. Back in the day I think it would've been hard chosing who was the best.. but now that LL's albums have dropped off this much, now that he's doing songs and possibly an album with G-Unit, I'd say Will. Will's fallen off a bit too, but we all know what he's about.
  7. nice thread lerkot, i always enjoy your tracks. :2thumbs:

  10. its definitely about the message more, the rapping is still dope but you rely less on punchlines like you said.. two dope mixtapes and still no one's signing the ace. :2thumbs:

  17. I feel bad for you Bart, your parents are tough on you. It's great that they've changed cause It Takes A Nation Of Millions isn't worthy of a PA sticker at all. Hardly any curse words, and the lyrics/themes are controversial yet not offensive unless you're the US government and you listen to the album. You should show them some other "commercial" songs, then they'd be glad that you've chosen a more respectable style of music. I guess I'm lucky; my mom doesn't really censor my music. I usually listen to it with the volume turned up, so I guess she kind of knows what I'm listening to. I think it's a matter of trust, if your parents know you're responsible and not dimwitted enough to get totally sucked into the stories in music, then they'll let you listen freely. :wiggle:
  18. This is exciting, I can pick it up for my birthday :wickedwisdom: :wickedwisdom:
