  1. I like Mostow, T3 was just an unneeded sequel no matter who made it. Maybe Michael Mann will direct now, instead of just produce!
  2. Uh-oh.... I hope it's not over Smith wanting to install some of his "trademark" humor in the movie and Mostow(who's been working on this project for awhile) deciding it was better to leave. I'm a fan of Smith's but I'm getting tired of him having projects tailored to him. This script was considered one of the best unmade ones out there. Why not make it as is!! There should be no "tinkering" with it and ultimately there'd be no one leaving over "creative differences"!!!
  3. If he/she can't go, somebody get up there and go for them!!! We need to know about this movie!
  4. The possibel housewife in the movie....Aishwarya Rai? http://www.indiaglitz.com/channels/hindi/article/20745.html
  5. If you read the link about attending the premiere, it says that the studio is considering moving up the release date. Which may be good for box office success(Dec. is crowded), but it may be a sign that Sony doesn't really view it as an Oscar movie anymore.
  6. Did he say anything else about the movie?
  7. It's just a public appearance he's making...but if you wanna win an oscar it helps to kiss butt a little. They want big stars to drive ratings, likely cause the movies nominated weren't big hits at the box office. Snub'em and they may get vindictive.
  8. link: http://oscarbeat.latimes.com/awards_oscar/...ng_spaces_.html "In other Oscar show news, Meryl Streep and Will Smith are the latest presenters to be named. Smith was a nominee for "Ali" in 2001, while Streep has two awards and 13 nominations, a record for actors. She costars in "A Prairie Home Companion," the upcoming film from this year's honorary Oscar recipient, Robert Altman."
  9. I'd love another Men in Black. The last one was disappointing, but there so much they could do with the material to make fun movies. I'd say do it, don't leave a bad tast in people's mouth. I always had a cool idea for a teaser to Mib III. It opens with Will and Tommy flashing that memory eraser from the series and saying "Forget the second one" and proceed to show stuff from the third. Something like that would be real funny!
  10. Retire?!? He's only in his late 30's. He could keep on acting till he's an old, old man.
  11. Tatyana Ali was just in the recently released "Glory Road".
  12. Why do you guys post negative stuff? Will's a mega-star, there's always gonna be people taking pot shots at him. Just ignore it!
  13. This movie's being filmed in Atlanta. Too bad it sounds like the same thing as "Roll Bounce".
  14. The two aren't related. The Mark is based off an Imagine Comic book. Tonight He Comes has been a script that's floating around for years.
  15. Got'em all except "Legend of Bagger Vance", "Wild Wild West", "Where the Day Takes You", and "Six Degrees of Seperation". The first two don't want, the third can't find, and the last will pick up someday.
  16. I think it was the actual role in the film, and not so much Will's acting. A lot of Black people had trouble with that role, thinking the character was pretty much there to help Matt Damon's character. They complain about it in other film's too like "Green Mile" "Driving Miss Daisey", ect. They call it the "Magic Negro", an all wise black character that's main purpose is to help some misguided white person. Spike Lee has talked about it on numerous occasions.
  17. FYI...If anybody's interested here's a site where you can buy auditon slides for upcoming movies. "Tonight, He Comes" is up. it's alpahpetical so scroll down a little. link: http://www.myentertainmentworld.com/mew/fi...newlisting.html
  18. link: http://people.aol.com/people/articles/0,19...1142197,00.html Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes took their traveling party to Miami, Fla., this weekend. The engaged pair, who spent Thursday dining, shopping and ice-skating in New York City to celebrate Holmes turning 27 on Dec. 18, arrived in Miami on Friday afternoon. Also in town: Will Smith (in the city to perform at the Y-100 Jingle Ball on Saturday) and wife Jada Pinkett Smith, Cruise's costar in the 2004 movie Collateral. Early Friday evening, sources say, Cruise watched Will Smith rehearse at The BankAtlantic Center in Sunrise, Fl.; later, Cruise, Holmes and the Smiths dined at Miami Beach eatery Barton G. The Restaurant. At about 1:20 a.m., the two couples hit the South Beach rock club Snatch, where they chilled for nearly an hour in a roped-off area on the second floor. Holmes, who is expecting her first child with Cruise, kept her arms around her fiancé, even hugging him from behind as they all left through a back door. (The next night, says a source, when a well-wisher asked why Holmes hadn't ridden the club's mechanical bull, Cruise joked, "If she wasn't pregnant, she would have been on the bull.") On Saturday, the four friends spent the afternoon on a private yacht touring the bay off the Florida coast, and stopped for lunch on the exclusive Fisher Island. Later, Cruise and Holmes headed to the BankAtlantic Center for the Jingle Ball. As they hung out backstage waiting for Will Smith's performance, they took photos with all who asked. Finally, Smith took the stage, arriving via a sleigh that "flew" over the audience on wires. After two songs, he brought out his wife and their daughter Willow, 5, as well as Cheryl Romero, whom he described as a woman "who had a tough time this year." He handed her several gifts, then said, "I have another Christmas present for you and the audience. I want to bring out someone who has never been to Miami before: Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes." As the crowd exploded in applause, the couple walked out hand in hand. "How's it going?" Cruise asked the audience. "This is my first time in Miami and I love it. Is it always like this?" Smith replied, "It is every time I come here." "Then I can see why you keep coming back," Cruise said. Before he and Holmes left the stage, he added, "I'd like to wish you all a happy holiday and Merry Christmas and just a great year."
  19. Only "Tonight" and "Time Share" are viable for the future. The "counter" ones a possibilty. "Mark" and "Affirmitive Action" are dead.
  20. All you said is true..So that's why I would like to see it. If there was a interracial romance in this movie and it's a big hit, then maybe Hollywood would change its thinking. No interracial romance then I'd like to see Regina Hall. She and Will were husband and wife in "Enemy of the State" but her role was pretty small. She's a good actress.
  21. Sharktale I wouldn't pick Jada, no offense but I think it would cause complications and would be open to critisism. I dunno about interracial either, could cause more hate on Will in real life, even though we know in a film it's not actually him, but haters will not take that into account... Halle Berry sounds cool to me :2thumbs: Yea there would be complains, but I think it would be cool if the best actress was picked and the studio didn't worry about appealing to demographics.
  22. He directed "Terminator 3" He also did "U571". His best movie is the Kurt Russell starrer "Breakdown".
  23. Reese Witherspoon I'd like to see an interracial romance. The year's 2005 and Will's such a big star that I think audiences can handle it. A big high profile romance on screen between two of the biggest stars would be great. Reese is believable as a housewife while still being really sexy!
