  1. No, it waz put 2gether by somebody who had all the episodes and some decent edititing equipment. I've seen at least 2 phoney sets of the entire season online. The quality of them simply won't be comparable 2 the real thing. Not 2 mention the bonuses that could pop up on the official thing.
  2. Wow, i've never heard of this b4. I'd like 2 find out more about this 2. They are probably my 2 favorite DJ's.
  3. Years ago i remember putting "Will Smith" in2 a music search engine and found "The Will Smith Quartet"...it has nothing 2 do with FP.
  4. I didn't know that waz Najee...thanx 4 posting that (no wonder they look similar). It's hard 2 imagin all these Hip-Hop kids growing up (like Corey and Trey). I like the idea of putting "Shake It Baby" at the end since it'll appeal 2 a different audience than hush...but i still think it's one of the more average trax on the album.
  5. Keep in mind that all this is coming from his point of view. I'm not saying he's lying, but u know there is always 2 different ways 2 tell the same story. While i'd love 2 see a full JJ+FP reunion, it's just one of those things where people grew apart and it would just be silly 2 force something like that. This is all VERY old and has been talked about b4. FP and Ready Rock C hung out during the filming of Enemy of The State and RRC waz hoping 2 get royalties from stuff on. FP said Jive screwed them over (which seems very likely) and they were cool then, but then all the law suits and stuff started. RRC wouldn't settle for the offer FP gave him which waz stupid cuz now he has nothing but lawyer bills. RRC should get past this and concentrate on his career cuz all this negativity isn't going anywhere. He's a very positive and down 2 earth guy...people like him deserve some shine in Hip-Hop.
  6. Yeah, not 2 mention that fact that it's far better than the Ja-Rule/Nelly/50 Cent/ D12/Chingy/Lil' Jon/Lil' Scrappy/ crap out right now. Off topic ?uestion...why is dose the title of this post appear the way it dose? I always make my topic titles in all CAPS!?!?
  7. :bang: Grrrrrrrrrr.......that makes sence. More great music thrown away. Must be the work of Columbia.
  8. Wow! I just saw it on BET's Midnight Love. The video is geat. It goes back and forth between footage of a young LL look alike hooking up with a girl and modern day scenes that match the 80's footage. LL is rockin' basic colorful Hip-Hop gear including a shirt tributing is late Grandmother. Just a great stylish video all the way around. Like "Headsprung," it gives u a taste of another track on the album at the end. Look out 4 it....Hip-Hop videos just don't have heart like this one. Just fun, colorful and non-phoney.
  9. My friend let me borrow this CD filled with random trax...not one of these trax blends...but some of it's really cool...if not cool, it's funny. Wesley Willis "Cut The Mullet" Sugar Ray "Every Morning" Soundmaster T "Dance! Too Much Booty In Da Pants" Jason Mraz "Curbside Prophet" Harry Belafonte "Day O" Denis Leary "@$$hole" Eels "Life's A Motherf***er" Spin Doctors "Two Princes" Louis Armstrong "What A Wonderful World" Everclear "Speedracer" Crew Cuts "Sh-Boom (Life Could Be A Dream)" Bone + Phil Collins "Home" Madonna "Fever" Mary Schmitch "Everybody's Free To Wear Sunscreen)" Talk about a crazy mix!!
  10. When people smoke crack...posts like this are created. Just Say NO!!
  11. I'm pretty sure it's one of those Napster-era mis-titled trax. I highly doubt Jazzy Jeff has anything 2 do with it. Over the years we've come across some crazy rare stuff and nothing by this title.
  12. That title seems really cheezy...what ever happened 2 Soundtrack To The City??
  13. If u don't buy the album...u aren't a fan. Sorry, but this post sounds like something Jedi would post. The results are way 2 obvious.
  14. "Shadow Dreams" has always been one of my favorite trax. I remember loving from the 1st listen. Strong, creative beat and flawless, poetic, deep, inspirational lyrics.
  15. Oh yeah, that waz a real intellegent comment. :hilarious: What's your deal??
  16. This looks like another Daedalus post. How u gonna leave the US President off the list. There may be mixed views on him...but how u gonna deny that the US is one of the most power nations in the world.
  17. What are u talking about?! U sound like u been hanging out with Daedalus 2 much. ?uestioning me why i voted for Jesus is just as silly as me asking u why u voted for whoever u voted 4. There's no "Christian extremism" on this board. 2 me, that just sounds like a term invented by people who aren't Christians just trying a lable something 2 make it sound bad just cuz they don't believe in it.
  18. Of his "solo" songs, my favs are... Potnas The Rain Holla Back Act Like You Know Don't Say Nothin' What do u mean by "u say i say?"
  19. Born To Reign is a good album. I like the way FP experimented with it. No other emcee has drifted in that style of Hip-Hop. I think some of the trax are classic...such as Block Party, How Da Beat Goes, Act Like You Know, and Give Me Tonite. My only problem with it is that it dosen't flow that great. Maybe and Momma Knows, I can't Stop, Act Like You Know are different in wayz that keeps them from making the album flow. On their own, none of the trax are bad. I'm rarely in the mood 2 listen 2 "Willow Is A Player"...but it's a funny song. "Maybe" is kinda boring, but the lyrics are poetic, which i think is very cool. My only real complaint is that "Black Suits Comin'" and "Nod Ya Head" mess up the album. With the other albums, they at least put those trax at the end of the album...but they put "BSC" right in a the middle AND put the remix on it...WACK!! I think Born To Reign is a dope album, i'm just not alwasy in the mood 4 it. Summertime is the ideal tyme 2 vibe with it in my opinion.
  20. Born To Reign waz a flop becuz of sales. It's sales were terrible. People's opinion of the music has nothing 2 do with it being a flop.
  21. Here the lyrics that i found off a site...not sure if they are totally correct tho'...i don't think they are, but the next time i have the CD in this room i'll check. USHER + ALICIA KEYS "MY BOO" Usher There's always that one person that will always have your heart You never see it coming cause you're blinded from the start Know that you're that one for me, it's clear for everyone to see Ooh baby, you will always be my boo Alicia Keys I don't know about y'all but I know about us and uhh it's the only way we know how to rock (repeat) Usher Verse Do you remember girl, who was he one who gave you your first kiss Cause I remember girl who was the one who said put your lips like this Even before all the fame and people screaming your name Girl I was there and you were my baby Chorus: Usher It started when we were younger and you were mine (my boo) Now another brothers' taken over but its' still in your eyes (my boo) Even though we use to argue it's alright (it's alright girl, that's okay) And if we haven't seen each other in a while, but you will always be my boo Alicia Now if you loved when we were younger you were mine And when I see from time to time I still feel like, (that's my baby) And if I see you no matter how I try to hide (I can't hide it) And even though there's another man who's in my life, you will always be my boo Alicia Verse Yes I remember boy, cause after we kissed I could only think about your lips Yes I remember boy, the moment I knew you were the one I could spend my life with Even before all the fame and people screaming your name I was there and you were my baby Chorus: Usher It started when we were younger and you were mine (my boo) Now another brothers' taken over but its' still in your eyes (my boo) Even though we use to argue it's alright (it's alright girl, that's okay) And if we haven't seen each other in a while, but you will always be my boo Bridge My ooh my ohh my ohh my ohh my boo (repeat) Chorus: Usher It started when we were younger and you were mine (my boo) Now another brothers' taken over but its' still in your eyes (my boo) Even though we use to argue it's alright (it's alright girl, that's okay) And if we haven't seen each other in a while, but you will always be my boo Alicia I don't know about y'all but I know about us and uhh it's the only way we know how to rock (repeat)
  22. Man, if i had that much money and knew i waz gonna die in 24 hours, i'd just give it 2 friends and family...then donate the rest 2 certain charities.
  23. Ahhhh...okay. I may check the link then. I remember a Korean producer contributing 2 the album...but i didn't know the name...apparently nearly none of us did. Sorry 4 the mix up!!
  24. Same here. It's definitly a collectors item 4 Hip-Hop heads. Not 2 mention the music itself.
