"How waz it different working with FP compared 2 other artists?"
-
I remember seeing FP calenders on ebay years ago...but i'm pretty sure they were unathorized...cuz that would have been the only reason i wouldn't have gotten one.
-
Will Smith has never had an official calender and i doubt there will be one. There might be a Sharktale calender tho.'
-
Yeah, there's beatboxing in "Hush"...the beat would actually be quite empty without it. Very uneek trax...the beat, the R-N-B vocals....just great.

"What do you think is the biggest misconception of FP as an emcee?"

This is one of those situations where u gotta let us know if u really love old skool or if u think it would be safer 2 get one of their new albums. Of course, 2 familarize yourself with their music, they both of Greatest Hits albums. Rakim's 1997 "The 18th Letter" is one of my favorite new skool albums. U can also find a version of it that has the new album and a greatest hits as a bonus 2nd disc. U can also find a cheaper Eric B. + Rakim greatest hits "Millennium Hits" CD but i think it has fewer trax than that one packaged with Rakim's solo album. If u are thinkin' new albums from KRS-One, i'm not one 2 ask...i havn't gotten a new KRS album in about 6 years (shame on me!). I'll catch up one day. I can say that i think u'd like his 1997 album "I Got Next." I think that album is just dope. U can also get a Boogie Down Productions "Greatest Hits" album if u look 4 it. That'll sum up all the old stuff 4 ya.

O'Ryan - Take It Slow
-
I couldn't tell he waz acting.

"Scream" Nobody ever talks about that track. But the production is just dope. Simply unadulterated Hip-Hop. The live-show feel of it is great and a big part of JJ+FP's chemistry. They are great live and putting that in2 a studio track is great.

I thought the movie waz funny...i just didn't think Jimmy Fallon waz very funny. The could have casted that part better. Is the remake alot like the original or is it one of those movies like The Italian Job that waz inspired by another movie, but not a much of a remake at all?

Will on Power 106 for sure w/ interview
JumpinJack AJ replied to krizia's topic in Jazzy Jeff & Fresh Prince
If u are gonna take all this so serious about something so silly, than u should leave. But i'm not asking u 2. The only reason i lowered myself 2 name-calling is becuz u called things out personally 1st....i just stated my opinion. I didn't say anything personal until that....which is why i later left a message saying i waz gonna delete the topic (becuz it waz so negative and got 2 far off topic)...and now it's gone. I'm not the creator of this site and i shouldn't be a reason 2 leave the board. Do what u want 2 tho.' -

JumpinJack AJ replied to krizia's topic in Jazzy Jeff & Fresh Prince
Don't take things so serious. I'm over it...u should be 2. I got rid of all those replies cuz i certainly don't like seeing the ugly side of myself. -
It did need re-posted. It waz very negative and very off topic. If it waz filled with newz and updates, it would make sense 2 keep it, but why keep around disagreements. It had nothing 2 do with the topic and there's no excuse 4 how far it went.

I finally saw TAXI. I intended on seeing it opening weekend but i've been so busy that i didn't have a chance until this week. I enjoyed it. Queen Latifah waz great. She seemed 2 have alot of fun doing this movie...she kinda got 2 play herself in certain situations. I thought it waz an above average movie. The biggest weakness is that Jimmy Fallon is so unfunny and untalented that it's hard 2 watch him sometimes.

Brandy - Who Is She 2 U (Pull's Passionate Mix) The CD single waz just released here in the US. It's got 3 mainstream remixes, 4 club remixes, and 4 dubs. Reminds me of the good old days when CD singles were released all the time and loaded down with good stuff.

That sucks!! I'm hoping the album keeps doing well and that he tries again in a few months...maybe with FP (hey fellas!). I really wanted 2 see him in concert. Can someone flip this 2 the off-topic board?!

JumpinJack AJ replied to JumpinJack AJ's topic in Jazzy Jeff & Fresh Prince
I gave Jim the heads up (the benifits of being on my Buddly List...ha ha). If i missed anything he can fill u in...but i think i summed it all up. We were both like "man, FP is simply the best." I 4got 2 mention, Aaliyah waz also one of the artists on it. -
FRESH PRINCE ON VH-1'S 100 SEXIEST ARTISTS
JumpinJack AJ posted a topic in Jazzy Jeff & Fresh Prince
Fresh Prince is featured on VH-1's 100 Sexiest Artists. He's 29 on the ranking. They briefly touch on JJ+FP by flashing some old skool pix and video footage of "Parents Just Don't Understand. People commented on him being funny and non-theatening...the kinda guy u wouldn't mind introducing 2 your parents. They also commented on how he made being a father being sexy thru' "Just The Two of Us" and his public family life. They then talked about how he broke in2 movies and became a better star saying "still the same Will...just better lighting" which i think waz a perfect statement about him. They showed video footage of Men In Black, Gettin' Jiggy Wit It, Just The Two of Us, and Black Suits Comin.' Earlier in the show he talked about Enrique Iglasies (sorry, can't spell his name). He said that he waz at a concert of his and that the screaming waz constant the whole way thru' the show. He started screaming really funny and said that one girl would scream 4 like 20 seconds, then her friend would take over, and so on so that the screaming never stopped. LL waz also on it at 31 (i think). They stressed how he waz the 1st in Hip-Hop 2 reach out 2 the ladies with "I Need Love." It had and interview bit where he said he would never hesitate 2 be sensitive 2 the ladies. It flashed steamy video clips of him and played parts of I Need Love, Doin' It, Back Seat, and others. In other parts of the show he comments on people like Sade and Shakira. Ed Lover and Salt-N-Pepa commented on LL. TLC followed FP. 28. They talked about their crazy early baggy style and how they broke out with "Creep" as sexy as they wanted 2 be. They mentioned how they were the best selling girl group of all time. T-Boz vocal style, Chilli's natural beauty, and Left Eye's strong, tom-boy style were all stressed about their strong points. Ain't 2 Proud 2 Beg, Baby-Baby-Baby, Hat 2 Da Back, Creep, Red Light Special, Waterfalls, Diggin' On You, No Scrubs, and Unpretty were all shown. Usher waz one of the people 2 comment on them. I only caught some of it, Toni Braxton and Sade were also on this list. Check it out if u can when they rerun this. -

The only reason i popped back in this post is cuz i saw 3Cookies replied, and i have lots of respect 4 her, so i wanted 2 see what she has 2 say. Just 2 reply 2 some of the things said...new reports say that those who voted for Bush didn't do it becuz of the war, but becuz of his view on morals. People didn't keep him in office becuz of war. That's a really stupid suggestion. They kept him becuz Kerry (at least in what i've seen of him from TV) comes across kinda like President Clinton, a down 2 earth guy who is kinda slimy and greasy. Morals aren't on his mind. I personally believe that if God has the back of the President...things will work out as much as they possibly can. God won't have the back of someone who isn't asking 4 guidence. And the whole drugs, prostitution stuff...that's just silly. That's not Bush's problem. That's what we have cops 4...the laws are there, cops just need 2 take care of that stuff. One thing i admire about the President is that he wants 2 hear from all the people who voted 4 Kerry 2 see what he can do 2 attempt and unite people on their views. I just saw that in a news broadcast...saying that he wants 2 meet with all the people who have power in this country and see what they can do start showing the people who voted 4 Kerry that he cares about their views. I didn't like when Bill Clinton waz in office (tho' i waz 2 young 2 vote then) but if u live in this country, it's kinda important 2 support who ever is in office.
