I've totally neglected this post. Simply becuz i'm very dumb with computers. So, 2 catch up with all of u, he's a bunch of pix of me. Most of them are from the last 3 years...but there are one or 2 of them that are really old (one of them is nearly 10 years old). Keep in mind that i do alot of theater and i'm also partially crazy. I'm with u Ted. I love "All Falls Down" and a few of his other trax. I got his album but i never listen 2 it. I just don't feel him the way others do. But when it comes 2 the commerical crap like 50 Cent/G-Unit/D12/Trina/etc, Kanye is the man. His production is by far better than any of that other stuff. And he actually has topics 2 his songs...something that show up in successful rap songs anymore. And 2 answer Jim's ?uestion in that Nick Cannon post. A few months ago, when he waz doing stand up comedy on TRL, he waz breifly asked about music and he said he waz working on new stuff. I don't think they asked about Kanye West, but when a Kanye video came on the countdown, he let it slide that he waz doing someone work with him but made it seem like a secret. He kept his mouth shut after that.

I like Nick Cannon's stuff...i won't buy in2 this until i hear it 4 myself. Kanye West did work 4 his new album.

2PAC - Die Slow "...Gay-Z"....ha ha

Deathrow waz a blessing and a curse 2 2Pac. 2Pac's pre-Deathrow stuff is amazing. Sometimes the production waz average, but that's cuz he waz what an underground emcee is supposed 2 sound like. When he got 2 Me Against The World, he created one of the best Hip-Hop EVER. Undoubtably the lyrics are flawess and the production is timeless. Let's remember that 2Pac turnded down Deathrow for years...he didn't sign with them until Suge offered 2 bail him out of jail. 2Pac obviously didn't want 2 sign 2 the label, but when u are in jail and can't make bail, u wouldn't take up on that offer just 2 sign 2 the label. All Eyez On Me is an amazing...but no where near as good as Me Against The World. The production waz great and the lyrics went back and forth between introspective and thugged out. However, with all of that came alot of violence and lies. 2Pac didn't have any money. All he had waz the cars and stuff Suge would give him, but they sere still owned by Suge. 2Pac recorded all of that material when he waz on that label so that he could fulfill his contract and get off the label. Deathrow did 2 2Pac what Columbia did 2 FP. Alot of people simply don't know what he's about due 2 bad promotion. I think that if 2Pac got off Deathrow, he would have flipped the rap game upside down. If u think Deathrow is what 2Pac is about, u are foolin' yourself. I waz following him since 1991, and waz also a fan of Digital Underground, that's why the Deathrow era means nothing 2 me. And 2Pac defintily wouldn't be affiliated with G-Unit and people like that!!

Yeah, House Party waz written for JJ+FP, but they didn't think it was right for them. I love the House Party movies tho'...i can't imagin anyone else doing them.

SPEECH - Brother Speech

Wow!! Cuban Link just dropped his new video. I waz never in2 this guy, but since i heard Mya waz on the hook, i had 2 hear. Y'all have no idea how bad Mya wants me 2 be her husband. Anyways, this track is NICE!! The production has this fun spring/summery kinda feel. Mya sugar coats the whole thing with her vocals and even tho' i don't like Cuban Link, he isn't bad on this track. The video is nice 2....3 minutes of Mya can never be a bad thing. p.s. yes Tim, i know u hate her voice :kekeke:

I'm wondering if the way Loyal To The Game waz received is why they are chosing 2 make the next one his last. There's definitly alot of stuff that hasn't been released. I'm thinkin' that the combination of the sales being less than his usual and the way alot of people cryed out against Eminem's work may have pushed them 2 make that decision. I definitly think they should remaster his studio albums. Better yet, add bonus discs with b-sides, soundtrack songs, remixes, and other things from that era on the bonus disc. Me Against The World had so many remixes that i once would see in music stores for $7 that i planned on getting, but then they sold out, and now i find them on ebay for $30 all the time. I've been waiting 4 a time when i have some extra money 2 spend 2 go after that stuff.

I can't believe that so many people don't know who Wyclef and The Fugees are. They are known wordwide!! Anyways, we had someone who used 2 be a regular on this board go 2 that and he talked about it years ago.

AKON - Mr. Lonely I just picked up his album cuz it's on sale for $7.99 at Circuit City (thru' 2morrow). I just wanted "Mr. Lonely"...but the whole album is dope. I'm impressed.

Rakim dose have some party trax, they just aren't like party-pop styled trax like "Gettin' Jiggy Wit It." He dose them in his laidback style. He isn't my favorite emcee (tho he's one of my top favs) but he is the best. Tons of artists have bit lines from his songs cuz he's stuff is so legendary. FP has said that Rakim is the only person he would never wanna get in a freestyle battle with. He's said that nobody could ever touch Rakim. 2 get a very general bio on him, listen 2 that track on Nas' new album. He had a track dedicated 2 him as a tribute. It talks about how he came up and changed the face of Hip-Hop 4ever.

That's what they already started doing. All those albums released after 1998's Greatest Hits had a few of his REAL trax, but the rest were filler trax he just recorded while on Deathrow 2 fulfill his contract 2 get off the label. Those tracks are the ones that are easily forgetable and dont' lyrically have what 2Pac is best known for. Trax like Better Dayz, Uncondisional Love, Until The End of Time, Never Call U B!+ch Again, and Ghetto Gospel are what 2Pac is really about.

He dosen't need 2 do sequels 2 any of his movies. Hardly any of them would make sense 2 do sequels 2. Bad Boys 3 and MIIIB would be the only ones that seem likely 2 me. I'd love 2 see sequels 2 them as long as the script and movie is good.
