Sometimes it's politics. Sometimes the lable pushes to not include the song on the album, sometimes the lyrical content isn't something the label wants (for instance, maybe someone would have thought "Ms. Holy Roller" was 2 aggressive and kept it off the album), and sometimes the label of the guest artist can keep the track off the album. One thing that nobody knows, but i do cuz of connections, is that "Pump Me Up" waz originally intended for Big Willie Style, but Jazzy sampled so many things in the original version that they couldn't clear all the samples. The version of "Pump Me Up" on Willennium has fewer samples and apparently is pretty different from the version they recorded for Big Willie Style. That would be a situation where clearing samples kept a song off the album.

Most albums are made from lots and lots of tracks. Lost + Found had 2 have at least 50 tracks. He's been working on it since when he waz filming Bad Boys 2. I was actually really happy that none of the Petey Pablo tracks made the album. There were some of the earlier trax he recorded. Born To Reign had at least 30-some trax he recorded. It would be really interesting 2 hear the songs that didn't make that album since he waz experimenting so much. There isn't really isn't any news on how many tracks he did for that album. I'm sure all of the unreleased track are great. During that time, FP did a song or 2 with Michael Jackson which will probably never see the light of day. Wyclef is one of the people he supposedly worked with. Big Willie Style had a handful of trax that didn't make it. The one i wanted 2 hear the most were "Keep It Real" w/ DJ Jazzy Jeff and "Just Wanna Blend" with Warren G. He did another track with Warren G and also did a love song for Jada that wern't released.

There wazn't really untalented people on the Hip-Hop scene back in the day. Like FP says in "Scary Story" "deals wazn't a dime a dozen." I don't think wack artists started popping up until 1989. They started crashing thru' the door during 1993. After that, the downward spiral in Rap music has continually gotten worse and worse.

FRANKIE J - Gone

Opps!! Yeah, i definitly like the track. It fits in with the other trax on Lost + Found better than "Coming To The Stage" and "We Won't." The track is pretty straight forward. No bells or whistles, just FP rappin' over a mainstream rap beat. Definitly a good song. I like it better than Ms. Holy Roller, Here He Comes, and the RnB Remix of Switch.

Why do so many artists get involved with drugs? It's really pathetic how many of them are getting charged with stuff like that. D'Angelo wa amazing when he came out, i never got his 2nd album cuz it looked like he waz changing his style a bit. Right about now, he's a relic. He's playing himself. He needs 2 come out with something soon.

Ice-T is not a good person 2 use. FP and Ice-T are good friends. Back in 1993/1994, Ice-T waz on The Arsenio Hall Show when Arsenio waz doing own of his "Props 2 Hip-Hop" shows and DJ Jazzy Jeff waz sitting in with the band. In an interview, Ice-T talked about the difference from him and FP. He waz saying that it wouldn't be fair 2 ask either of them 2 make music that wazn't their style. He said that JJ+FP waz like Disney and that he waz Stephen King. The audience reacted like it waz a diss and Ice-T sat up and said "No, no no...what i'm saying is, don't ask Stephen King 2 do a Walt Disney movie." Ice-T may be recognized the true original gangsta, but he also has old school credibility and a political side. U can't limit him 2 one thing like most of the more modern rappers out.

There's entirly 2 many artists and 2 many hits in Hip-Hop 2 cover them all. It would have been nice if they were mentioned tho.'

2 answer a few ?uestions... "Coming To The Stage" is a bonus track on one of the non-US imports (Australia i think). "Coming To The Stage" and "We Won't" are 2 bonus trax on the UK version. "Coming To The Stage," "We Won't," and "Chosen One" are the bonus trax on the Japan version. This is also the rarest and most expensive version...as most stuff from Japan is. I got my copy of the Japan and UK version off ebay. Also, this Japan version actually has a small booklet with the song lyrics (nothing more). However, the paper used for the lyric booklet and CD insert smell really bad. :hilarious: I opened the CD and waz like "ugh, what is that smell?" Then i held the lyric booklet close 2 my face cuz the print is really small and waz like "ugh, it's the CD inserts!!" :puke:

FP waz writing and rapping since he waz like 12. Him and Jeff hooked up when FP waz like 16. He had a history of emceeing and DJ's years b4 him and Jeff hooked up.

Well, the track wazn't chosen 4 the album. As a bonus track, it's just a song he chose not 2 use, but tacked on this version as an added bonus. I'm not sending MP3s or anything, i'm actually sending Tim a CD in the mail with this stuff on it. I'm gonna probably mail it 2 him 2morrow and it'll take about a week 2 get 2 him. From there it's up 2 him 2 put it up.

I got the Japan release of Lost + Found 2day in the mail. It features the unreleased song "Chosen One." The beat is a mid-tempo mainstream rap vibe. It waz produced by The Platnium Brothers and it's just over 3 minutes long. The sound is slightly reminiscent to that track Eve did with Gwen Stafanie. Kel Spencer co-wrote the track. It's basically about him coming back and that he's one of a kind when it comes 2 Hip-Hop and Rap music. Here are the lyrics. I think it's tyme 2 street team the album. Time 2 vote for "Switch" on the main music video shows and radio. The album will start slipping since they aren't releasing any new videos/singles right now.

To achieve "Potna" status, u kinda have 2 prove yourself. Having all the albums is the simplest way 2 prove u are a fan down 4 the long term. After all, if u are a fan, u should want them badly enuff that u are trying 2 get them any way. The only other way to get that status is 2 hang around 4 awhile. Since u get certain benifits with that title, u gotta be a trustworthy person who is down 4 the board as well as JJ+FP.
