  1. MISSY 'MISDEMEANOR' ELLIOT + DA BRAT - Sock It 2 Me Supa Dupa Fly (1997)
  2. Yeah, they were pretty good. I have one of their CD singles from 1998/1999. I had no idea they did a track with FP tho.' I remember lovin' the song they did on Jermaine Durpi's 1st album.
  3. I waz surprised back in the day when Code Red didn't commerically do much more than "Boom! Shake The Room." But at the same time, gangsta rap waz so huge at the time and "new" 2 the mainstream...so it's easy 2 justify and say the album got swallowed up in all the Dre and Snoop stuff at the time. Things are even worse now. Commercially, pretty much ever artist sucks. True Hip-Hop rarely breaks out 2 get any real attention. And as far as JJ+FP is from crap like Lil' Jon, Young Joc, and D4L, i can easily see how JJ+FP would actually do very good. After the solo projects, FPofBA, movies, and so on...JJ+FP has a wide fanbase even bigger than b4. I mean, after we were surprised that "Switch" got as huge as it did, i wouldn't be surprised if a JJ+FP easily hit platnium. Lost + Found waz a good step-stool back 2 at least 1 hit single from the JJ+FP movement each time around.
  4. JODECI - S' More (Remix) Back To The Future: The Best of Jodeci (2005)

On The TLC Tip TLC - CraZySeXyCOol LL Cool J - Mr. Smith Skee-Lo - I Wish Ahmad - (self-titled) Queen Latifah - Black Reign MC Lyte - Bad As I Wanna B Speech - Hoopla Pete Rock + CL Smooth - The Main Ingredient MC Hammer - Please Hammer, Don't Hurt 'Em MC Hammer - Inside Out 2Pac - Me Against The World Digital Underground - Future Rhythm Run-DMC - Raising Hell Arrested Development - Zingalamaduni A Tribe Called Quest - The Low End Theory A Tribe Called Quest - Midnight Mauraders A Tribe Called Quest - Beats, Rhymes, + Life Busta Rhymes - The Coming De La Soul - Stakes Is High Salt-N-Pepa - Very Necessary Salt-N-Pepa - Black's Magic
  6. LL COOL J - Mama Said Knock You Out (Live) VH-1 Hip-Hop Honors (2005) Man, i wish they'd release the show as a DVD + CD pack.
  7. I've been listening 2 old school Hip-Hop all day...this is the perfect thing 2 read at the end of the day!! It's gonna happen...it's gonna happen!! Give it tyme!!
  8. No way, the song is total joke. Like stated b4, the song is FP's mocking attempt 2 catch up 2 the hardcore rappers at the time. The story is hilarious...but he delivers the whole song in a very serious, no-nonsense kinda way. FP performed it live back in 1992 on MTV when he waz co-hosting a Super Bowl Special. I actually taped this and my parents taped over it!! I'm pretty sure Jeff wazn't there and that FP waz just rappin' over the instrumental. He waz rocking sunglasses, a early '90's style Hip-Hop hat and a winter coat. The next time he waz on MTV, he joked about how he thought some parents were probably like "Is that the Fresh Prince rapping like this?"
  9. I loved In The House. The show wan't like FPofBA at all...other than a pioneering emcee as the lead character. I thought the show waz almost as good as FPofBA. It had hilarious stories and positive messages. And Alfonso didn't play the same character as he did on FPofBA!?!? I don't know what show u think u were watching.
  10. WARREN G feat. NATE DOGG - I Need A Light In The Mid-Night Hour (2005) I finally got this album...it's real good. Over half of it is just that perfect west coast G-funk, sampled stuff.
  11. I don't want any doctors stuff...never really did. I just want them 2 release a box set with all the non-album stuff (meaning stuff not released while he waz alive) mastered. There's so many songs he's done and freestyles just collecting dust or that have been remixed in a watered down way. I wouldn't mind a 2Pac remix album every 7 years or so...just 2 keep the legacy going. But i'd want real producers getting their hands on the acapellas...not wack rapper #2 and Puffy.
  12. Really? I think his presence on that remix waz better than his presence on most of the trax on B2R. He fits right in 2 me.
  13. I'm not the only JJ+FP fan who waz down back then...there's a few others who have been following them since the early days.
  14. YO YO - Total Control (da album) (1996) I used 2 listen 2 this non-stop back in the day. It's been a few years. Man, this album is dope. Sunny West Coast G-Funk.
  15. Back in the day, we had Kool Moe Dee posing on an album cover with his ride in the background, parked overtop a red kangol hate. That waz classic. Everyone knew he waz going at LL Cool J with that. But what wack rapper #1 is doing is just stupid. It looks like he had a 12 year old come up with a concept 4 the cover. Then again, wack rapper #1 does have the mindstate of a 12 year old. In my opinion, there's a big difference.
  16. "R U Still Down (Remember Me?)" is my favorite album released after his passed. Those trax are untouched 4 the most part. Most of the trax were also recorded during and around his best era...Me Against The World. The trax on that album are more laid back and less polished...in other words, perfect. Again, this album with Scarface is definitly a step back in the right direction. "Smile" is one of my favorite songs ever. Hopefully the album is an extention of that. Scarface also won't put crappy artists right next 2 his locked-away vocals.
  17. U can totally see a fly video 2 the song the 1st tyme u hear it....especially if u were down with JJ+FP back then. It would have been a huge hit 2.
  18. I actually wanna hear this. I think they actually did 2 songs while he waz alive. So at least this time around, they are putting 2gether and album with an artist who actually has skillz and waz actually cool with him back in the day. I'm not expecting the best...but it'll be light years ahead of Loyal 2 The Game with all that awful wack rapper #2 and G-Unit input.
  19. I think this is the wife of the guy who is suing Michael Jordan for looking nothing like him.
  20. Yeah, i'd like 2 know what he thinks about this packed up episodes.
  21. I remember when someone made the word "idiot" filter out as "knobjockey"...that annoyed me...cuz i'd never say "knobjockey."...ha ha
  22. It waz recorded during the era of Rock The House...but not with the sessions of all the album trax. The funny thing is that they definitly cut the lyrics in one take....cuz FP fumbles the last line. Instead of "'Cause we mix Hip-Hop with A Touch of Jazz," he actually says "'Cause we MISS Hip-Hop..." which cracks me up everytime.
  23. It's only 3 episodes. 3 episodes of filler and under-baked skits. The rest of cast hasn't even been in the new skits. It's a bunch of extras and celebs. They should have just released this stuff on DVD 4 the fans cuz it's no where near the level of the 1st 2 seasons. It's like The Jackson 5 without Michael...the heart and soul isn't there.
