The Best of DJ Jazzy Jeff & The Fresh Prince
JumpinJack AJ replied to Hero1's topic in Jazzy Jeff & Fresh Prince
No, it's definitly weird. Just cuz those albums are hard 2 find at the moment, doesn't give them an excuse 2 overlook them. By not mentioning them in a greatest hits compilation, it's like wiping them out of the JJ+FP history. Which just isnt' cool. -
The thing is, Ice Cube doesn't look that different than he did when he burst on2 the scene. Just swap that shirt 4 a black one and throw on a Raiders hat. He waz rockin' that jerry curl 4 awhile.

THA DOGG POUND + 2PAC - Don't Stop Deathrow Presents...2002 (2002)

I love how FP made fun of his own pic in Bad Boys 2...and butchered it up even more just 4 it...ha ha. They need 2 make a Hip-Hop High School Year Book so we can see how many of these egotistical floss-ready, so-called-ballin'-outta-control rappers actually had it like that back in the day. FP, LL, Whodini, Kid N' Play all had the kinda looks that ladies responded 2. But u know many of these rappers are talking big without a reason...so a book like that would be hilarious...especially with Lil' Jon's year book pic in mind.

Snoop and Game co-signing Tyrese's rap attempt
JumpinJack AJ replied to bigted's topic in Caught in the Middle
Tyrese is one of those artists that truely came out of the gutter. And even tho' his break came from singing on that Coke commerical, he spit a rap on his very 1st single. I can't say i'm looking forward 2 the Rap side of the disc that much but he can hold his own. What i'm really dying 4 his the R-N-B disc. Since he's consistently stepped it up with each album and broke in2 a big movie career....i'm just happy 2 hear a new album is coming out. -
When will y'all learn...anyone who claims 2 be hardcore or "keepin' it gangsta"...simply isn't. At least back in the day, NWA waz pioneering the hardcore Hip-Hop. U can't even take 2day's rappers seriously.

The state of the world is one big depressing joke. I don't understand why all these top political idiots can't just back off. I don't wanna come off weird by saying this...but these are the last days tho'...all this is part of the plan i guess.

RICH CRONIN - Cab Driver (unreleased) (2005)
-
I know there are some Linkin Park fans on this board. In the past i've blown them off since they don't make the kinda music i like. Outside of 2 or 3 singles, i just don't feel them. When they boasted about Mike Shinoda as an emcee, i just couldn't take them seriously...but i should have. A lil' over a month ago, i fell in love with the song "Where'd You Go" when it started picking up steam on Top 40 radio. I remember asking a few friends like "Who is that...it sounds like a white guy...maybe the guy from LP." Nobody knew so i had 2 find out 4 myself...and i did. I just think that song is flawless. 2 me that song itself is worth the price of the CD, and since they don't release singles in the US, i picked up the CD...and i'm falling in love with it. The beats are like good upper/underground Hip-Hop with some edge 2 it. And i definitly feel Mike's flow. I haven't gotten in 2 the lyrics much yet, but some of them have stood out 2 me. On top of that, he's got Hip-Hop heavy weights like Common Sense and Black Thought on it. He's not on the level of FP, LL, Common, but he's definitly got skillz and i'm liking this album alot. I'm anticipating quite a few "I told u so" relpies.....bring 'em on...ha ha.

Jamie Foxx and LL Cool J plan movie project
JumpinJack AJ replied to bigted's topic in Caught in the Middle
I waz happy 2 see them actually work 2gether again on LL's album. But 2 see that they have addressed them getting over the beef is cool 2 me. All thes losers talk trash on a record, and it just fake beef. Jamie and LL had a REAL beef and they've not only gotten over it, but they are working 2gether. That just shows what being a man really is. All these cowards like G-Unit need 2 take notes. -
LL Cool J's The Definition a classic club album?
JumpinJack AJ replied to markwinfield1's topic in Caught in the Middle
Yeah, The DEFinition is one of many albums that i put away for awhile...but when i put it in again, i'm like "man, this is good." "1 In Da Morning" has been said by many critics 2 remind them alot of early LL stuff made new. I agree. I can't help but love the energy and wit of that track. -
There should be a new Law...Idiots can't sue people..
JumpinJack AJ replied to Vipa's topic in Caught in the Middle
While we are on the topic of lawsuits. I'm going to sue Tim. Since he created this website and message board, i've spent so much time online that it keeps me from working and making money...and my internet bill is crazy. So yeah, i'm sueing Tim for ruining my life. p.s. Tim, i'll see u in court!! -
LL Cool J's The Definition a classic club album?
JumpinJack AJ replied to markwinfield1's topic in Caught in the Middle
I wouldn't call it a classic at all. It's a good album, but not a classic. While Cool J always come correct on the flow and deliverly...and of course lyrics, but half of the trax have watered down, b-level production. -
There should be a new Law...Idiots can't sue people..
JumpinJack AJ replied to Vipa's topic in Caught in the Middle
In the end, fools like this only waste lots of their own money and time (along with other people's) with these rediculous lawsuits. On top of that, if they get recognized, it's for being an idiot. I don't see how stupid someone can be 2 think anything good can come out of a lawsuit like this. -
AOL has an article on male actors which has a poll attatched 2 it. It talks about what actor can bring in the fans, the ticket sales, DVD sales, and so on. The article doesn't really talk about FP so i didn't have anything 2 copy from it. But those of u who have AOL need 2 find the article (in the entertainment section) and vote for our boy. He's in 3rd place, but he's WAAAAY behind the top 2. It's a silly poll, but go support. Here's the current results... Which actor can make or break a movie for you? Tom Hanks 37% Johnny Depp 29% Will Smith 7% Adam Sandler 7% Tom Cruise 7% Brad Pitt 6% Ben Stiller 4% Tyler Perry 3% Total Votes: 44,858

There should be a new Law...Idiots can't sue people..
JumpinJack AJ replied to Vipa's topic in Caught in the Middle
And the crazy thing is, people file lawsuits like this everyday. There should be a step somewhere during the process of people filing a lawsuit that allows and expert to say "I'm sorry, we can't allow u 2 file this lawsuit becuz A; u are and idiot...and B; u won't win this. It would save so much money and time 4 so many people. -
The Best of DJ Jazzy Jeff & The Fresh Prince
JumpinJack AJ replied to Hero1's topic in Jazzy Jeff & Fresh Prince
"The Groove" remix is very rare. Until now, it's only been available on the 1990 promo single. It features the late jazz legend Grover Washington Jr. Last nite, i went 2 the Best Buy that i got my JJ+FP "Very Best of..." CD (that only had 2 copies...which i bought 4 me and Tim). They were now fully stocked with 6 copies!! -
