SKEE-LO - Dimepiece I Can't Stop (2001)

No, 2 me, there's commerical rap and mainstream Hip-Hop. Mainstream Hip-Hop is Hip-Hop music that has decent promotion and has success with all audiences. When i talk about mainstream Hip-Hop, i talking about FP's Switch, LL's Control Myself, BEP's Don't Lie, Jurassic 5's Work It Out, etc. When i think of commerical rap, i think of rap music that is made just 2 sell records, make money, and become famous. This commercial rap usually has no artistic attempts, creative lyrics, or even a talented so-called "artist." When it comes 2 commerical rap, i think of anything G-Unit, Young Dro, Young Joc, most of Bad Boy stuff, etc.

I'll check it soon. This is the same J'Shin that had that hit single with Latocha Scott from Xscape back in like '99...right?

JAMIE KENNEDY, STU STONE, + BOB SAGET - Rollin' W/ Saget Blowin' Up (2006) I waz hopin' this CD would be funnier than it is...but it's still funny. "Rollin' W/ Saget" is easily the best song. Jamie mentions FP in the Thank U's as an inspiration along with other golden age Hip-Hop artists and groups.

I'll have 2 check, but i think that the "Just Cruisin'" remix and instrumental of it are on a "Men In Black" or "Gettin' Jiggy Wit It" 12" promo single. I'll get back 2 u soon.

I just saw the new video. The sets are beautiful and brilliant. The colors used in it amazing. However, Janet's exotic costumes are a lil' over the top...but i guess when u've done 100 million videos u gotta stretch 2 do something new. Nelly's appearnace in it is mad corney. And for one of the shots, he just stares down Janet's top...for literally the whole shot.

I can't say i'm really excited about a new TV project. But it's cool that someone representing Hip-Hop who is smart and positive is behind the scenes on something 4 TV. I'm also hoping that that Todd Smith: Part 2 album isn't happening. I don't know if i consider it just a rumor yet...but we'll see. He's been pretty quiet when it comes 2 music since "Freeze" got the so-so feedback.

Over the years, Fat Joe has slipped further and further in2 the commerical rap spiral of watered down beats, uninspirational lyrics, and loads of crappy guests. I'll give anything an honest listen, but over the years, i care less and less for his stuff.

OMARION - Entorage (album coming early Oct) (2006)

I like Snoop...but i think that he's been stucking doing the same thing and what's safe since 1998. I gotta say that i don't own a single Snoop Dogg CD (i had a copy of Doggystyle back in the day) simply becuz since the late 90's, the lyrical content has been the same (at least from the parts of his albums i've heard). I planned on getting them all this up coming year...but i'm really looking forward 2 this new one after reading this.

I actually liked Viva La Bam more than Wild Boys. It just reminded me of me and my friends when we were younger. We just stupid stuff spontaniously. Of course we weren't doing it 4 TV so i wazn't on the level of the show. Bam just has an attitude that cracks me up.

The article says the whole album waz done with one producer....Eric Greene Jr. The guests on this album are dope...but i'm kinda hesitant. I don't like poets who cuss a whole lot...it just takes away from everything if u ask me. When i saw Black Ice live (with Musiq and Chyna Black) in the summer of 2004, he had undeniable skillz, but he just cussed 2 much 4 me 2 really hold on 2 what he waz saying. But if Jeff's in his corner, there's no doubt i'll check out the album.

SILK - Love Sessions (da album) (2001)

Yeah, i definitly look 4ward 2 getting the Weekly Bread. There's no such thing as 2 much of a good thing. I'm hoping the bread grows and that there ends up being a Daily Bread with short messages of inspiration for each day.

I wanna hear the song with Mary J. Blige...but i can't say that i care for The Game.
