  1. mfuqua23 you are so f*ckin awsome Whoa. Where is this coming from? Dirty Harry Track 9. man, I need to copy the tracklist for this, so y'all can hear this phat cd. It's amazing how even mixtapes changed thru the years.
  2. Thug Life - How Long Will They Mourn Me?
  3. I must say one fault of that show is they never had Arsenio Hall on it. I remember watchin the VH1 special on Arsenio and talkin bout how him and Will went at it. FPOBA did have it's share of guests tho.
  4. HAPPY EASTER EVERYBODY. i kinda feel bad for others because we're not all from the same countries and so we celebrate different. Has anyone every said, HAPPY BOXING DAY!!! or whatever? All the candy in this house and I can't eat it all. I don't want to cuz I might perform this week and I wanna be in a "good" shape. But, I'll at least eat the White Bunny my mom got me. Mr. Bunny man can't hop hop hop away. :kekeke:
  5. Yeah bagotrasho, I can understand. Difference is, Game can go back to his hood. 50 can't. He's made too much of an a#@ of himself and proves himself also really undeserving.
  6. THUG LIFE Volume 1 the whole way thru. yeah!
  7. Will Smith - Switch "dance is a hop and clap, flip around/ now bring it on back, break it down"
  8. I love when Will imitates Lisa at therapy. "*sucks teeth*" and then he goes on and on. I love his facial expression. "U don't never buy me nothing nice, U need to get a job. And don't talk about your uncle. He isn't fat, he is big-boned."
  9. now.. Richie Rich - Do Gs Get to Go To Heaven I love his laid back voice, the harmonizing in the background, and the beat just calms U down. Great track.
  10. I don't know. Tim says I got the mind of a 12 year old. And u can't trust a 12 year old. :kekeke: We just love G-Unit and Crunk artists for no reason. thanks for the feedback!
  11. Onyx - Last Dayz but it's gettin' ready to switch to uh... 2pac and some others - B****es
  12. I heard one song on Beanie's new album. I actually liked it a lil. But he's not really an artist who really offers anything new. "He was dope when he came out." <-- that is common for so many. Why tho? A lot of us really do know why, and it's sad. What's really funny to me is how my parents (particularly my dad) talks about how the music was "back then". (says wit a joking disgust) "We didn't have all that rap." I try to tell him we're going down that same road. They lost their artists because their music faded out (we know that's not true in actual sense) or the artists just went away somehow. With us (Hip-hop fans) the music is made for the wrong reasons. And everybody is doing too much of the same. ~In the 80s, u had FP, Ice-T, LL Cool J, KRS-One, along those lines. ~90s carried over a lil wit Snoop, 2pac (his music was almost in it's own category), NaS, Warren G, Biggie (probably missin' someone to really piece and prove my point). The music was shifting. ~2000-up, Diddy just carried over into a "bigger figure", Jay-Z was the mainstream big dog, Em was blowin' in, and steading out til he'd do the same again, bling-bling era was supplied by way too many (Hot Boyz, Cash Money, almost every rapper had to have something) ~now, we got 50 Cent and G-Unit(wit the exception of The Game cuz he's new) who feel their something bigger than they were last year (particularly 50). But to me, he's steppin sideways without lookin'. Well 50 ever watch Looney Tunes, your Wyle E Coyote fallin' off the cliff. Only difference is your career won't be back for another laughing episode. (unless the world gets so bored, that they have to look back and laugh at U and the era they were caught up in). Em is along the same lines. He's not really all that much of a creative mastermind. U can't stay forever. As far as rappin', maybe U can still do it, but U shouldn't be a mainstream anymore. Politically, nothing was really pushed. They tried so hard they didn't really do anything. It's like go vote, but nobody knew really what they were voting for. Ludacris is growing and he may have reached "his peak". But he might be shifting as an artist, so da "Dirty South" has got their gem. Then U got the youngin' blingers like Lil Scappy, J-Kwon, Cassidy, etc. Bow Wow is outside of that and can probably do a lil better than he actually is. Jay-Z is runnin' things and ratha be in the spotlight instead of moving it around. The fact that he's supposedly doing that has people disagreeing. Then U got, yes, LL and Will Smith who come along to us wit a span of music and are trying the times. Almost like they have to. Will is more than LL becuz he just simply loves to rap. LL is like 'look at how long I've gone and I'm still good'. But anyway, music is part of their life and they love what they do.
  13. Joe - All The Things (Your Man Won't Do what a track. One of the great R&B jams of the 90s. :thumb:
  14. Or if U have gym class and when the teacher says Switch, u yell "Like Will Smith's new single!"
  15. Dang. Pac don't like her. Will don't like her. They both said she's fat. lol. Will Smith gay? oh my. She is quite big in a lot of areas.
  16. The broadcast on CBS of the North Carolina Tar Heels vs Villanova Wildcats game. Go Tar Heels!!! (i can't believe Duke lost. that's crazy. whoa!)
  17. I liked this one all the way thru. Good job :thumb:
  18. Maybe we should stop talkin amonst ourselves and take those views out to others. (i'm sure alot of us are already doing that) Will will knock 50 off. And the Game's isn't really gonna do anything. Especially since it's a 'mixtape'. I agree wit hero1, but that will be in the US alone. I say 6.5 million in one year worldwide. And a couple nominations for best album. but I think our influence will really get him to win. But Will just loves to rap. That's why he came back.
  19. That's not half bad. Lines a lil too short tho.
  20. Actually, that Parental Advisory would pass everytime. I can see it now. PA- lyrics aren't explicit like the usual music. If a PA sticker was on every album, Will's would say "Parental Agreeing"
  21. Well the M stands for Michael. Last name stands correct. and the 23 ain't nuthin' but a number. Michael Jordan influence u could say.
  22. Will is #1 outta that list. But I'm still tellin everybody about it like there's no tomorrow.
  23. Well, I remember a while back, we were informed that Will uses 'Reason'. A program beat machine used by underground artists. Easiest reference would be Da Brakes. Will made about 50 tracks for his next album which we aren't so patiently waiting called 'Lost + Found'. For those of U who've heard numerous tracks, the whole album or whatever, do any tracks sound like Reason was used? And if nobody knows, are the credits gonna make note of that? Just somethin' that had me curious.
  24. I wasn't comin' at ya. I just sure more heavier old-school heads would understand.
