The Rain: I had just bought Willennium and was sitting on the couch..putting stickers in these books listening to the album.. When The Rain came on I had to stop what I was doing, and I just sat there and listened..and I thought it was so dope I had to quickly replay it str8 after.. I couldnt believe Will had done such a dope track Boom! Shake The Room: 2 memories here.. 1 is seeing it at no. 1 on this music video show(video hits on channel 10 for those in Australia) and it was actually credited as "jazzy jeff" and i didnt realise it was the fresh prince...then I had people at school talking about it and they just though the fresh prince (TV Star) had recorded a track from TV to music not knowing their jjfp history obviously :kungfu: Live at Union Square: I'm on the bus and me and my friends are laughing at how high pitched Wills voice is not having broken ..sounding so young :haha: I'm All That: I just have this memory of never knowing what that damn chorus was for about 7 or 8 years I'm Looking For The One: okay i'd never seen this music video right..so i'd always request it.. and the request show would get so many requests I couldnt watch it all the time.. the weirdest thing happened.. like 3 or 4 times I just caught the last half of the video.. weird timing.. I never saw the full video til i got the greatest hits compilation I Wanna Rock: I organised everyone I knew to request I Wanna Rock! even my grandmother! :lolsign: yes i got her to write a letter to the station requesting it.. The hilarious moment was when the host of the show said "we've received a lot of requests for this video this week" Yes it was all masterminded by me!! and i got to see the video :2thumbs: Lovely Daze: I'm walking down the street and go into this record store I always check and their in the store is Jazzy Jeff & Fresh Prince's Greatest Hits.. The same week it was released in the US on import..couldnt believe it! so I rushed homeand listened to lovely daze..a JJFP track i'd never heard which was a huge thing in 98! Miami: when i think of Miami I think of Will's purple shirt :lolsign: Don't Say Nothin: When this site was online back in 97.. the quote up the top said "she asked me if its true that me and jeff broke up.. naa i can confirm Will loves code red.. I think he was either referring to and in this corner or big willie style.. 12 years later Will remembers the lyrics to rare b-sides off code red but forgetslyrics to men in black off big willie style maybe that tells us sumthin :wiggle:

theres a difference between doin a podcast and doin a professional podcast.. some people are just good at it..Dave is one..he's funny..pretty smart and has a way with words making him a good host.. obviously in the end we will be able to include everyone in the podcast.not everyone is gonna be available to do it each week...at the moment I'm just focusing on getting the first podcast done..and for that we need to do it right.. I dont want it to become just 4 or 5 people talking..whats the point of that? why would the thousands of will smith fans who visit this site want to listen to that? anyway my initial point is still valid you need 2 or 3 people doing it regularly to become good..because you build up a history..its more than just communication on a message board.. then once we get the podcast up and running with subscribers all the people who said they wanted to participate in this post will get their opportunity....

Hey Top Dawg its Interscope that is in control of when the music is released... Will and Overbrook make all the creative decisions..the album cover the music etc etc.. but its Interscope who determine when the album is released when switch is released to radio when the switch video is released..remember Will had the switch video shot in august of 2004..he was ready and he said he wanted it out in August..and it took 8 months for interscope to release it..thats clearly on interscope not Will.. I have no doubt in my mind that Interscope is the reason for the delay of Party Starter not Will and Overbrook... Either Interscope is sleeping or they just dont put Will as a high priority compared to other artists on their roster..

Could you believe it Jonny..the only time it didnt record all the skype chat was when we did it.. I think it was because we were in a conference and then exited and joined again.. In future i'll only start recording once we are in the conference.. its pretty funny hearin the 10 failed attempts its just everyone getting frustrated at the echo :lolsign:
