mark, you're not making any progress you still said: Will needs to be taken off that list of top 20. you still said: Will is a good musician. please go to the dictionary and look up musician and then maybe you'll see why people disagree without. remember mark, knowledge is power. have fun!

yeah Julie said the same thing as i did about the way girls dress in clubs. yeah im glad you can accept the truth Lerkot, no need for you to respond. just don't go into freestyling, cuz when u freestyle you're supposed to respond and when you dont they actually say you would be "below that" not above. just keep thinking to yourself whatever you want ok sheltered boy?
-
yeah, Will played all those instruments by himself while rapping his weak rhymes right? thanx 4 clarifying. well that would explain your ignorance. you might wanna try listening to all the stuff before you say someones rhymes are wack. hell, even if you have only heard 2 albums you still cant say his rhymes are wack. bottom line, nobody is gonna be upset if you leave. like AJ said, you are on your last leg, just go away mark

Lerkot, i am about to rip you apart, but first i will address one point. Luigie said: what do you want from a Will Smith video, it's a party song! You replied: something different than everything else now, we have to think about what category in rap is Will under. he is under mainstream oddly enough. he's not underground, he's on Interscope and could be on radio and tv a little more if he got promoted. but he's not gonna make somethin totally different than every one else out there. underground artists don't do party tracks really, they just rip the mic over sometimes good beats. Will has always been a feel good guy, he likes party tracks. he does know how to rip a mic too, look at party starter and lost and found. now, here's where u get shredded. - half nude ladies at the club. yes, thats how they dress Lerkot. you might be scared of that, but it's ok you're never going to get none anyways. it's a reality of clubs, so deal with it. - because of the fact that his video showed girls at the club, he is making sh**y music vdieos like everyone else today. well you know what Lerkot, i know for a fact you have no idea what you're talking about because you don't watch videos by other artists that make videos today so you have nothing to compare Will's video too. in actuality, the artists of today's music not only exploit women and nudity in their lyrics (which Will doesnt), they often have have naked hoes dancing IN FRONT of them in their videos and making sexy gestures. does Will's video have up close shots of one women doing dirty dances in front of him? no, they're all in the background of the video so horny boys like you can't see them enough to beat off to them. so your statement holds no weight at all if you compare his video to other rappers videos, which you obviously dont watch. so i don't blame you in that case, you're just a misinformed soul trying to fix a situation you know nothing about.

Is Sean Paul's Trinity As Good As Dutty Rock
WesSyde replied to markwinfield1's topic in Caught in the Middle
mark's got some special problems, we all have to deal with them too so don't feel bad -
wow, they must not mix tracks together on the radio in australia, or you dont listen to the radio. basically heres the simplest way i can put it: when you mixed tracks together on the mixtape, the beat on one song would not match the beat on the other song in tempo, meaning it sounded all jumbled up and confused. if you can find a way to match 2 of Will's beats to the same BPM and at just the right moment, the beat on both songs will hit at once, and when you fade the songs into each other, the song sounds like one track with the vocals and instruments fading into each other. it really is a work of art. think of matching the beats like when you match an instrumental of one artist to an acapella of another artist. it has to be JUST right to match, and it has to be done at just the right moment, and when done incorrectly, sounds bad. hope that helps :wiggle:

Rate Switch(listen to it @ willsmith.com)
WesSyde replied to Hero1's topic in Jazzy Jeff & Fresh Prince
looking back, i was right in my predictions. i never grew to like the song more than i did at that moment, however many of you that gave it 10 are probably sick of the song and the "milking switch" movement. :kekeke: good call on the monster hit Tim, that was right on -
I am actually learning how to become a DJ, and to transfer from one song to the next DJs use a technique called beatmatching. To beatmatch you have to count the beats per minute (BPM) of the track you are putting on next. BPMs tell how fast or slow a song is going. So what a DJ does is count the beats up to a multiple of 60 (60 seconds in a minute). The next thing that you do is called cueing. Cueing is synching two tracks together so that their beats correspond with each other, so you can then transition from one song to the next. Thats beatmatching in a nut shell. I learned all of this from a site called djforums.com. I don't have tables yet, but I am going to have my first set of tables by the beginning of the summer. I am very excited bout it. yeah, i know about BPM's and beatmatching and fading tracks into each other, it's just that when i've tried it i have sucked horribly at it, which was why i said i wonder how DJ's can do it, i just dont get it myself
-
i gotta admit that got better as it went on. the transitions were definitely a little ameteur. i always wondered how DJs could transition into a new song and have the beats match, but i know its hard. during the rest of it, the repeating was fine, except JJFP 1993 was repeated a little too many times. other than that, all of the verse were the dopest. i would've liked to have a volume leveling for the and in this corner tracks, they were definitely lower in volume overall it was good, but nothin like somethin Jeff could pull off. i dont blame ya tho ur not a DJ by profession!
-
hey tim, here's my feedback. im not the biggest fan of the rewinding lines back over and over again, even when it makes a point. even when jazzy does it. the fact that you're using a DJ program makes the transition less smooth in addition. thats my feedback for the first 2 minutes, i will keep listening.

is it similar to the other JJFP mixtapes u've done before or is it better? i just wanna know before i d/l

does jeff have any kids and a wife
WesSyde replied to cristigolo's topic in Jazzy Jeff & Fresh Prince
he has a wife too right, or were they never married? Maybe your post was way off and wrong! What a surprise!!! -
i guess it was a waste of your time registering this account mark. im sick of reading your worthless posts. if u cant say somethin nice about will, get the **** out and btw, your quote makes no sense. Will is not really a musician. does he play the guitar? does he play any instruments? does he make most of his beats by himself? why would you say will is a good musician when hes not really a musician. Will is a good rhymer, you are off there. to say Twista has a better flow would be right, and to say Busta is more agressive than Will's would be right. but to say Will's rhyme scheme is less than there's is wrong. there's no debate, it's a fact, you are wrong. if thats truly your opinion than you dont know hardly a thing about hip hop music.

i still think its a little corny myself. -

IF that is indeed the question, i think its not a very bright one. Lost & Found doesnt sound like any of the previous albums in Will's career. thats part of what makes him FP, his versatility and different styles. Lost & Found was a different flavor of album and it doesnt sound like any of his previous albums to me. if it did sound like one of his previous albums, it wouldnt be fresh and it wouldnt be as good. think a little more before posting wacky questions mark.

really? i dont think so. tell us what it counts for. this is what AJ means by if its relevant or not. i tend to think it isnt, so i might not vote as much. cuz if Will wins it doesnt mean anything. and if he loses, that doesnt mean anything either mmmm, i think any poll got a purpose, maybe its for a hip-hop fan site, any poll, anything Will's envolved needs support. Doesnt hurts to vote hey if you've got the time, then go for it. just understand that other people dont have time to waste on things that have no purpose

that was great man. i just want to let you know that i've liked all of your writings. the problem is i dont have the time to read them all, so i dont. but your stories, whether true or not, they inspire thinking. things like this are definitely sad. this reminds me of a song called You Never Know, by Immortal Technique. i've uploaded the 7 minute song, you should listen, the story made me want to cry when i first heard it, on top of that the story is motivating and it shows good writing skills. i recommend everybody that likes a good story and concious hip hop check this song out. http://rapidshare.de/files/19098459/17-imm...ae-cms.mp3.html note: if you want to get to the sad part of the story, seek to about 3.5 minutes through the song

DOPE NEWS!! :1-eek: however, i'm not the type of person to get my hopes up higher than they need to. so for all i care, saying that Jeff and Will have been "working together" could mean theyve recorder 5 tracks, and that we'll see one on ROTM and a couple on Will's compilation album. a new album would be great, but im not gonna get my hopes up. it seems like Will and Jeff always say stuff about JJFP reuniting and touring and it never happens, but if Jeff tells an online mag that it will happen then i think it will, i just dont think itll be a whole album. great news Jonny hope ya have fun. doesnt it get really hot in australia? or will it not even be summer by then?? :hmm:
