  1. It's cool they are mentioned. But i never take this "Greatest..." type lists 2 serious. I don't think any Hip-Hop/Rap fan has an overall appreciation of all styles. Usually people cling on 2 only a few types of Hip-Hop/Rap (old skool, new skool, true skool, hardcore, gangsta, dirty south, commercial, radio-friendly/mainstream, underground, etc). Hip-Hop has grown so much...it's kinda hard 2 hold the same standards 2 an old song that u would hold 2 a new one.
  2. I'm afraid there may be nothing 2 be lost in the translation. Someone's been hanging out with nhawong 2 much.
  3. MIC GERONIMO - Nothin' Move But The Money I liked this song back in 1997 when it dropped but i haven't really heard it since. Well, i found a used copy of the album for only 49 cents 2day!! Ha ha...i had 2 get it. This song is so dope...great production (surprisingly from Bad Boy, tho' i knew that back then). The rest of the album isn't bad either...it actually surprised me. Pete Rock produces a track on it also.
  4. That's cool. My work has those kinda CDs as well...which sux cuz i used 2 make CDs that i could play at work...containing various radio friendly FP trax...but now we don't have control over what we play (except 4 when i bring in my stereo and hook it up 2 the speakers...ha ha).
  5. U 4got MC Lyte, Grover T. Washington, and Zhane. Also, on the production tip, he's worked with Teddy Riley, Trackmasters, Dallas Austin, Pete Rock, Jermaine Dupri, DJ Scratch, Kay-Gee, Somethin' 4 The People, Darkchild, and Kwame. Common Sense co-wrote some songs with FP on Willennium. Nas co-wrote some stuff on Big Willie Style. Warren G produced at least 2 trax for Big Willie Style but none made the album. Big Pun, Camron, R.O.C., and Peter Gunz + Lord Tariq all did work on "Gettin' Jiggy With It" remixes but they didn't come out (except 4 the underground So So Def Remix). FP and Usher planned on doing a song 2gether in 1999...not sure if it ever happened. FP did 1 or 2 songs with Michael Jackson around 1999 as well (most likely produced by Rodney Jerkins) but they never got released.
  6. 1. I, Robot (i just watched it again last nite) 2. Sharktale (may have been number 1 if i didn't watch I, Robot last nite) 3. Ray 4. Spider-Man 2 5. Fat Albert 6. Born Supremacy 7. Honey (from the end of 2003) 8. You Got Served (from the end of 2003) 9. Taxi 10. Without A Paddle I have some DVDs i bought of movies i havn't watched yet like Breaking All The Rules, and White Chicks.
  7. That "Hey Sexy Lady" remix waz done back in 2002. So "Got To Be Real" is the only song u can vote 4 as the "Best Collabo of 2004." Overall, i think "Hey Sexy Lady" waz a better song. FP showed off alot more on the track. And he had great chemistry with Shaggy and Sean Paul. It's just a blazin' song. "Got To Be Real" waz nice, but it waz Mary J's song and FP just showed up 4 1 verse and it just felt peiced-2gether.
  8. Born To Reign waz a good album, it just wazn't the kinda album u drop after making fans wait so long 4 new material. While i'm sure traces of Born To Reign will be on this new album, i think 4 the most part, it waz an experimental move that will stay in that era. With a title like Born To Reign, it definitly should have an album where he proved it, which i don't think he did 4 non-fans. About that Ludacris track...FP has been doin' this for nearly 20 YEARS. People know his style, they know his talent...there's is no reason 4 Ludacris 2 play a part in his come back. Just like when he collaborated with Lil' Kim, it'll leave me scratching my head, if not in tears. I'll give anything a chance, i'm not desiding 2 not like it, i'll make my opinion when i hear the track a few times.
  9. I think someone found your site a few months ago and posted it. Your site always had the best photo gallery. I'd love 2 see it updated!!
  10. I spent about $70 on Avex The Album which containes "Family Christmas." I've spent between $60 and $80 on various JJ+FP items in the past. Probably 2 or 3 other times.
  11. NEW EDITION - Leave Me I haven't listened 2 this album in about a month...i think i'm in love with it, where at 1st i waz complaining about the B-level production...but now i'm totally feelin' it.
  12. FP goes 2 Aspen every winter. The story sounds kinda shady...but who knows.
  13. I have alot. I have 2 have a goal or project in life or i'm not happy. I think i'm gonna overload myself this year cuz i don't feel like i've accomplished much last year. I have 2 get a REAL job with benifits, full time hours, and all that grown-up stuff. I need 2 be a lil' more responsible with my money. I need 2 treak my girlfriend better, control my temper, get closer 2 my family, get in better shape...just alot of things.
  14. I've been listening 2 the whole Willenium album all nite and morning.
  15. Everybody have a fun, safe, and responcible New Years Eve. I'll probably spend it at the huge party that one of the theaters i work has has each year. I have a lil' bit of space this year....i wonder how many honeyz i'm gonna kiss 2nite. I guess we'll see what kinda mood i'm in 2nite.
  16. That's that's the only song on his album that usually skip. I just don't like it that much. SLEEPY BROWN + OUTKAST - Can't Wait
  17. Listen 2 the song...it wazn't really his choice 2 take so much time between albums. Right now i got on MANDY MOORE - Have A Little Faith In Me
  18. Yeah, the rare trax and the Dangerous concert DVD is the real reason i got it. The unreleased trax from the 90's thru' now are my favorite part of the box set.
  19. We had the six week count down months ago. Nothing happened (obviously).
  20. I wonder why some of those semi-regulars never found their way on this board.
  21. 114,000...i have a feeling people aren't gonna try living there anymore. All their things are destroyed and i wouldn't risk something half this bad ever happening again. They are probably just gonna start life over without looking back. I can't imagin going thru' something like this.
  22. I'm not much of a fan of either of their's...especially not Jay-Z, but i'm all about them working 2gether only 2 put positive vibes out there where they waz negative ones. 2 me, i like the idea of positive attention being brought 2 Hip-Hop/Rap instead of who is feuding and who said this about who.
