Yeah, most of the stuff in rap videos is rented. Some of them even let u know when it is...but most of them front. If u ever watch MTV's "Making The Video..." or BET's "Access Granted," u'll see that most of these commercial rappers are renting the stuff they use in their videos. Again, they aren't keeping it real...just real darn rediculouse. Oh yeah...and i wouldn't pay 1 penny or a 50 Cent CD. The music is so awful i'd feel ripped off.

I don't think it's time for him 2 go back 2 TV. He's never seemed 2 interested in TV anymore. I find it a lil' hard 2 believe he wants 2 do this. I don't see the show having the same magic. The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air worked becuz of the chemistry between the cast, and so much of his behavior waz funny cuz of him being the street kid living in a rich household with family members who couldn't relate 2 him. This new should could never recapture any of that. He waz smart enuff 2 end the show while it waz on top, so i think he'd be smart enuff 2 not do a spin off of the show. Besides...DJ Jazzy Jeff is 40 now...he can't keep gettin' thrown out doors. :hilarious:

I actually prefer FP's dumb dancin.' It's always hilarious. The Carlton Dance is funny, but i've seen it so many times that it only makes me laugh out loud sometimes. Dumb dancin' floors me everytime 2 the point that i'm on the floor doubled over...sometimes tearing up.

Everytime i see that clip of him kursplowing on the sidewalk, i lose it (and yes, i made that word up...well, my friend did and i stole it). I'm thinkin' there will be a good bit of deleted scenes 4 this movie.

One thing 2 consider about artists/people who file for bankrupysy, it dosen't mean they are broke with nothing 2 their name. It's something that u do when your income fluxuates and u realize that your current income hasn't fit in with your steady expences. It's a way 2 protect yourself and get things in order. When MC Hammer, TLC, and Toni Braxton filled for it, they weren't flat broke. MC Hammer used that as a way 2 balance out his life. He said in an interview that he used it as a way 2 get things in order. TLC did it cuz the people on their original contract wouldn't re-work the deal they signed with. TLC signed like, and 8 album deal but were making no money off their record. They had 2 cover the costs of their music videos and stuff like that and needed 2 use touring as a way 2 make money, but with T-Boz having sickle cell, she can't tour extensively, which held them back. Pepples waz making money off their momumental CraZySeXyCOol album when she had nothing 2 do with it. TLC filed 4 bankruptsy 2 re-work their deal and make a lil' money and 2 get some people from taking their money. When theycame back with FanMail (their 1st album after the legal battle), they stayed with LaFace, got more money off album sales, headlined a HUGE tour, had real fanclub, and merchandise. Toni Braxton hasnt' really talked about her situation. But i can say that Toni Braxton and especially TLC fell victim 2 people downloading 2 much of their music. Both of them are huge names in music and their last albums didn't do 2 well. Left Eye once gave props 2 how music being available online, but it waz her solo album Supernova and 3D that fell victim 2 exessive downloading, neither of those albums did nearly as well as their past ones. If she waz still around, i wonder what she'd say. Let's not forget that Born To Reign is FP's weakest selling album and that u could download that album every where. Oh yeah, MC Hammer waz supposed 2 drop a new album this year...i heard 3 of the trax and liked them all. I don't think anything has happened since early fall, not sure if it's still comin' out.

Ahh...here's a short list... 50 Cent - he's just all about getting attention 4 sales. He has almost nobody left on his side cuz he's dissing everyone. Eminem - i do have respect 4 what he's done in the past and a few things he's done recently...but overall i'm dissapointed in him. Listen 2 The Slim Shady LP...it's a masterpeice. It went downhill from there. He even says on some of his records that he dosen't do have of the things he says in his records. With The Slim Shady LP, that waz cool cuz alot of trax were basically stories with really exagerated and comical parts 2 them. With the newer music he there's just more violence and dark stuff. I don't see why he went that direction. Ja-Rule - He just seems 2 be making music where he tries 2 be the hardest, thugged out guy on the scene...but the image just dosen't work. U can tell it's not 2 real. I wouldn't call someone like Nelly fake, i just don't think his music is good...except 4 a handful of trax, and that's only becuz of the feel of the song, not the lyrics or his "skillz."

I agree, i don't think they ever intended on using whoever played Will's mother in the video on the show. When they shot it, they probably didn't even know when they were gonna introduce the character in2 the show. That intro is strictly a music video. Notice that FP is the only person from the show the video....except for Jazzy. I think this show is one of the only shows that could pull off so many inconsistencies. One thing about the character Jazz, if u compare how many lines he said on the entire series, his ratio of lines that got laffs are higher than anyone else's in the cast. Some people say he waz the butt of all the jokes, but he got the most laffs compared 2 the amount of screen time he had.

My cousin and a group of my friends went and saw the midnight showing up it...which waz funny cuz that wazn't exactly the kinda movie we go 2 a midnight showing of. I 4get what kept me from going. I remember the trailor which waz hilarious. I grew up watching reruns of the show so i do wanna see it. I can picture Jeff at the movies buying a ticket for the movie. :hilarious:

I definitly think this album will be better than Big Willie Style. Infact, i think this album will be comparable to Big Willie Style, just less sugar coated. From what i've heard so far, i don't expect it 2 be as good as Willennium tho'...the trax we've heard are just missing that soul and down 2 earth Hip-Hop vibe. We'll see.

The song isn't an Eminem diss. It's a song saying that people mistake his higher level of class 4 softness. He always waves off the fools who mention him in a negative way in their songs, and since he stays above all that, some people think that makes him weak. The song talks about that. A line or 2 poke fun at Eminem...that's it. And those lyrics are definitly fake. FP dosen't spit wackness like that.

There waz an article that AOL waz featuring about Bruce Willis. The beginning focuses on his relationship with ex-wife Demi Moore and how he makes it work. Here's the part mentioning FP. --- People are fascinated at how close you and Demi have stayed since your divorce. How do you make that work? Early on Demi and I decided to put the kids first. What you see is the result of that. I have to give credit to Will Smith, who, at a time when I really could use it, gave me some great advice. He said you've gotta let the kids know it's okay for everybody to be together – you know, exes, new partners. I am still great friends with Demi. I am honestly great friends with Ashton. We go on vacations together. I think how Demi and I and Ashton and my three daughters are handling this is evolution.

O-TOWN - All Or Nothing I thought their 2 big radio/video hits were cool...but i ignored them. My friend who loves them is gettin' me 2 really dig them.

I'm watching another huge block of FPofBA. I don't always get 2 watch the 10 o'clock hour ones. These 1st 2 are the same ones they aired in the last hour of last nights. I guess they do this all the time 4 those who don't always stay up late 4 the last ones and the people who miss the early ones cuz they are finishing their day.

Prince has said that he made alot of money releasing his indie albums cuz he got all the money from their sales. But with Musicology, it waz his 1st time dropping a big label album in years...but u know that the people who downloaded stuff off of Musicology added up 2 more people that downloaded stuff of all of his indie albums...simply cuz of the promotion audience it waz aimed 4.

U said they can discuss whatever they want. Well, they aren't discussing anything. Those one-dementional minded females over there can take any topic and reply and say "He's so hot." Please tell me u can see where alot of people would find that annoying. That message board over there is a joke, and i think it's important 2 do what we can. There have 2 be alot of hardcore fans that come over there and when the see that message board, they get scared and aren't interested in posting. I spent my entire morning bumping up old posts that had some substance cuz some fool posted some nasty stuff over and over and over again. I had 2 go down down 2 pages just 2 find the non-explict posts. I tried 2 bump them all off the 1st page, but they kept trying. I haven't been there in 7 hours, after i'm done here, i'm gonna see if he un did all my work.

I think they should do what Michael Jackson did when he re-released all his album. Remaster them, but also throw on a bunch of bonus stuff. B-sides, alternate demo versions, and interviews.
