  1. Yeah, i live my life day 2 day as a happy person, careless of the things that could go wrong, but u gotta have those street smarts 2 back u up 2 kick in when necessary. U never know when it's your time 2 go, and i don't think u should dwell on that, but i think it's important 2 be ready 4 whatever.
  2. Be a decent humanbeing....BUY THE ALBUM!! That track is dope. I used 2 think the song waz hilarious...only becuz i grew up 2 releate 2 it. :kekeke:
  3. Those are great!! I waz gonna say they are from 1992, but they are from 1993. Notice the Janet Jackson "janet." picture in the back of the last one. That jacket that FP is holding in the 1st one is my fav. He's worn in photo shoots from 91/92.
  4. What all this being ranked on that chart tho'? TV shows probably don't sell that much. Movies probably always beat out TV shows on DVD. It's probably doing what it's supposed 2 be doing.
  5. 50 CENT - I Like When Dogs Dry Hump My Leg (Get Me A Towel Remix) Skillz people! SKILLZ!!
  6. 50 Cent is the most uncreative person 2 record a rap record. His gimmicks are just watered down versions of stuff that 2Pac did, which were altered and later copied by Eminem. Then u have all this set up beefs and stuff. Everything he's done, including his lyrics and beats have been done 100 times. The difference is, after it's done so many times, there's is nothing left 2 what the original idea waz. He's just recycling everything he can in hopes 2 get sales. He's straight up said in interviews that he's all about making money and selling records. That's all good and fair, but not when u have no respect 4 Hip-Hop or it's listeners, it's just discusting. He's not Hip-Hop at all. Let me say this in advance... :ali: lambert, SHUT UP!! :chuks:
  7. Earlier 2day, AOL featured an updated article. They caught the guy, he's in police custody. He came up 2 some girl who waz entering her house and he said that she had 2 let him in and let him stay there or he'd kill her. He either let her out of the house or somehow got away and called 911. Cops and a SWAT team surrounded her house, and after he saw what waz happening on the news, he surrendered. I read the news when it 1st happened. That guy is a psycopath.
  8. Lerkot, no offense...but based on that last remix, your friend has absolutely no skillz. :kekeke: I'm not even gonna bother checkin' it out.
  9. No doubt. I think he is honestly the worse commercial rap has 2 offer. When i hear Ja-Rule's "New York" and "Wonderful" on the radio, i don't always turn them off, the don't bug me as much as some of his other stuff. I immediatly turn 50's stuff off. At least Ja got some decent beats this time around. Nelly's "My Place" dosen't bug me so much either. Maybe it's cuz their music is slightly better than their past stuff...maybe it's cuz The Game's and 50 Cent's music is so bad that it makes the others look good by comparison.
  10. :hilarious: Sorry, i read this last nite and it waz funnier...but it waz even funnier the 2nd time around. :hilarious:
  11. I'll keep the family in my prayers. Seems like alot of people are going thru' some kinda drama right now.
  12. Is this the same one posted a few days ago where they just put the "Girl's..." freestyle over that instrumental and u can hear both beats? If it is the same, i'm warning everyone 2 NOT check it out. U'll be sad u wasted your time giving it a listen. I just sounds like u have 2 stereos playing 2 different songs at 2 different tempos in the same room.
  13. Well, it says the LAPD investigation is still open, but i doubt they are trying hard. Especially if LAPD could be involved.
  14. Ummmm...HI. What is your deal?! We don't really talk like that here. Intellegence is requied 2 become a regular here.
  15. Is it just me, or did they even "open" the case?? Anyways, here's the article. --------------- FBI Ends Investigation Into Notorious B.I.G. Murder 03.11.2005 11:38 AM EST Bureau gives up on theory that rogue police officer and Suge Knight plotted killing; LAPD investigation remains open. The FBI has abandoned a controversial 18-month investigation into the 1997 murder of the Notorious B.I.G. that focused on whether Los Angeles police officer and Death Row Records founder Marion "Suge" Knight may have plotted the killing, according to a Los Angeles Times report. The investigation was shut down in January, not long after the FBI discovered that the lead agent on the case, Philip J. Carson, had met with the lawyers for B.I.G.'s mother, Voletta Wallace, and that he'd been subpoenaed to testify in her wrongful-death lawsuit against the city of Los Angeles (see " Notorious B.I.G. Wrongful-Death Suit Can Go To Trial, Judge Rules"). That case — which goes to trial on April 12 — accuses the LAPD of covering up police involvement in B.I.G.'s murder, which took place on March 9, 1997 after a music industry party at the Petersen Automotive Museum. Carson was ordered not to have any more contact with Wallace's lawyers, who were informed that he would not be testifying in their case, according to the Times report. The bureau expressed concern that Carson may have been unduly influenced by Wallace's attorneys, but denied that he shared any information with them. Carson's investigation was shut down because it was determined that "there was no basis for prosecution," according to Louis J. Caprino Jr., acting head of the criminal division of the FBI's Los Angeles field office. Caprino denied that the agent's meetings with Wallace's lawyers factored into the decision and said the agent was not found to have acted improperly. Wallace's lawyer, Perry Sanders, cited an unidentified source in arguing that the LAPD pressured the FBI to shut down the case, a claim the agency denies, according to the Times (see "FBI Joins Investigation Into The Murder Of Notorious B.I.G."). The LAPD's investigation into the murder remains open, according to an officer reached Friday (March 11) in the department's homicide division. Theories on Biggie's killing have ranged from a connection to the East Coast-West Coast beef that also took the life of Tupac, to a 1998 theory pursued by the LAPD that a rogue former cop, David A. Mack, was somehow involved in the murder (see "Ex-Police Officer Suspected In Notorious B.I.G. Shooting"). Former LAPD detective Russell Poole's theory that Mack had planned the murder at the request of his friend, Amir Muhammad, sparked the interest of the FBI's Carson after the federal agent saw Poole discuss the case on a 2003 TV special. Reportedly acting on the suggestions of Wallace family attorneys, Carson contacted Poole and interviewed other detectives and witnesses in the case. Carson arranged new interviews with Poole and Mack — who alleges that the FBI agent offered to help reduce his 14-year bank robbery sentence if he cooperated, an allegation the FBI denies — and conducted surveillance on Muhammad, but the investigation turned up no new evidence, according to the Times. — Gil Kaufman
  16. I waz on MTV.com and came across this page of fans reacting 2 the news that they aren't beefing. It's obvious that some of these people are idiots and the others know what they are talking about. Just thought i'd post. If u go 2 the page yourself, there is a picture of those 2 ugly guys standing side by side looking at the camera like they are all hard and stuff. --- 50 & Game: The Truce Updated Thursday, March 10, 2005 4:30 P.M. (ET) This is so monumental. It's like 50 and Game heard the silent cries of their fans to end the beef and responded in a huge way (see "50 Cent And The Game Call A Truce"). I view them as true hip-hop legends and they get all of my respect. It takes a real man to not only admit a mistake, but to do everything in his power to rectify it (see "50 Drops Game From G-Unit; Shots Fired At Radio Station"). This is something that everyone can look back on and say, "If they could end their beef, so can I." It will definitely have people thinking twice about their own petty differences. My hats go off to both rappers for taking such a tremendous step toward keeping hip-hop great. Crystal, 28 Lanham, MD It's nice that Game and 50 Cent are calling a truce, but what does that really mean, other than more publicity for 50 Cent? They're not fooling me. They still don't like each other, and I doubt that Game is going back to G-Unit. How could he when they went behind his back and straight to radio with their issues? It's more air time for the both of them, but none of their issues are resolved. Diahna, 19 Fort Washington, MD This sounds like too much of a publicity stunt to be real at this point. 50 Cent's schedule is right on target. Gain momentum for the album with the Game beef. Go platinum. Squash the beef. Right in time for dis records from Jadakiss (see "Jadakiss Jacks 50's Beat To Retaliate For 'Piggy Bank' "), Fat Joe and Nas to come out and give it more advertising. 50 Cent is a good businessman, and this battle is like a match for the WWE. Chuck, 23 Miami, FL It's fortunate that the 50 Cent/ Game situation ended with a truce and not violence. Both men are talents that the rap industry needs right now because everything else is stale. I hope they can at least continue to record together since they both make each other stronger. Chad, 23 Milwaukee, WI How convenient that this truce comes after 50 Cent's album hit stores? As talented as he is, 50 thrives off of drama and has been using it since he was up in the club, so why would he stop now? It's nice to see a truce, but all the beef they had was obviously part of their marketing strategy. It's sad that we can't rely on the music to sell itself these days. Cedric, 23 Austin, TX 50 Cent and the Game's truce shows that hip-hop is maturing. Some rappers are beginning to realize that they are role models to inner-city kids. Squashing their beef sets a positive example for the children who look up to them. James, 19 New York, NY 50 Cent is full of crap. If he really wants to call a truce and set an example for the community, then he needs to first call a truce between himself and Ja Rule. That's how all of this escalated in the first place. And he should also apologize to all the other rappers he has dissed, such as Fat Joe and Jadakiss. Demetra, 26 Dallas, TX I'm glad that all of this is over. 50 Cent and Game make great music together. Tiffany, 19 Murfreesboro, TN
  17. Ahhh!! That's ill!! It fits perfect...catch the rap essence that waz sugarcoated on the album version!!
  18. That is my joint!! My fav song on his album!! p.s. lambert...yeah, it dosen't get any realer than "Candy Shop" that is some real heavy street stuff. Throw ya lollipops in the air, and suck 'em like u just don't care. G-G-G-Gay Unit!!
  19. Yeah, most of the stuff in rap videos is rented. Some of them even let u know when it is...but most of them front. If u ever watch MTV's "Making The Video..." or BET's "Access Granted," u'll see that most of these commercial rappers are renting the stuff they use in their videos. Again, they aren't keeping it real...just real darn rediculouse. Oh yeah...and i wouldn't pay 1 penny or a 50 Cent CD. The music is so awful i'd feel ripped off.
  20. I don't think it's time for him 2 go back 2 TV. He's never seemed 2 interested in TV anymore. I find it a lil' hard 2 believe he wants 2 do this. I don't see the show having the same magic. The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air worked becuz of the chemistry between the cast, and so much of his behavior waz funny cuz of him being the street kid living in a rich household with family members who couldn't relate 2 him. This new should could never recapture any of that. He waz smart enuff 2 end the show while it waz on top, so i think he'd be smart enuff 2 not do a spin off of the show. Besides...DJ Jazzy Jeff is 40 now...he can't keep gettin' thrown out doors. :hilarious:
  21. I actually prefer FP's dumb dancin.' It's always hilarious. The Carlton Dance is funny, but i've seen it so many times that it only makes me laugh out loud sometimes. Dumb dancin' floors me everytime 2 the point that i'm on the floor doubled over...sometimes tearing up.
  22. Everytime i see that clip of him kursplowing on the sidewalk, i lose it (and yes, i made that word up...well, my friend did and i stole it). I'm thinkin' there will be a good bit of deleted scenes 4 this movie.
  23. Whoa!! Sounds good. Once u guys in the UK can confirm that this is 4 real, then i'm gonna have 2 get that version. Is there anyone in the UK that will hook some of us up if u we send u money, and u can send us the UK version of the CD? We can get it elsewhere, but u guys probably won't rip us off the way internet sellers would.
  24. Well, this issue is dead, Jazzy Julie posted that article 4 us stating that the don't have this so-called "open relationship." Good 2 see u over here Angel Amor!!
