Foxy's not a gangsta rapper!! I know alot of people here don't like her, but other than the legends (Queen Latifah, MC Lyte, Yo Yo, Salt-N-Pepa, TLC), Foxy is one of my favorite female emcees. As much as i don't like Jay-Z, i like the idea of them working 2gether again. When they were close, her music waz better (tho' i can't judge her Broken Silence album cuz i only heard 2 songs off it...which were better than Chyna Doll). I don't believe Foxy is guilty of those charges tho.' She's and easy target becuz she used 2 be all agressive and spitting on people and hitting people who would follow her around. In 2000/2001, i read an interview with her where she talked about her past behavior and how she changed her attitude and outlook on music. After reading it, it find it hard 2 believe she would go back 2 acting all crazy.

I'd go with Lost + Found, Could U Love Me, or If U Can't Dance (Slide).

Very cool! Thanx 4 sharing that. Looks like i'll have new wallpaper 4 the next few weeks.

Fresh Prince + Biz Markie did a set there in 2002. I have the bootleg of it. However, the delay in the audio in the stadium is really obvious on the tape. His his rapping and the audio is off by like a full second.

This post is mainly for Da Brakes. Since u did a flawless job seperating "Potnas" and the Willennium "Interlude," i waz wondering if u could do that to "I Wish I Made That" and "Swagga." I plan on making a new JJ+FP mixtape 2 bump thru' spring and summertime and i really wanna have the 2 track sperated. Let me know if this is possible. I think it would work best if u quickly make the audio fade right after he finishes saying "seem like all i got" and have the fade finish right before The Freshman say "uh, i got my swagga back." Of course having "Swagga kicking witha quick fade when that Men In Black sound is starting up. If u could do this, i'll greatly appricate it. I don't have the proper equipment 2 seperate the 2 songs and make a quality version of them.

Is that someone else singing that Brian McKnight single from 2003? At the moment, listening 2... FRANKIE J + BABY BASH - Obsession

Thanx 4 posting that!! I wonder where they got the info from. I could see a good sequel coming out of Hitch, but chances are slim. Romantic comedies don't usually have sequels...usually got it's a bad idea. Since FP says at the end of the movie that their are no rules 2 dating, that kinda wraps things up. And taking the story over 4 Europe seems very silly 2 me. And like ID4, it waz characters and the casting that made the movie the way it waz. They couldn't drag them all in2 the sequel. And if they tried, it would be really corny. These days EVERY MOVIE that hits the top 10 is said 2 have a sequel. We'll see what happens.

Thanx 4 that. Chuck D is always droppin' knowlege. I don't know why he defended Vanilla Ice tho.' I didn't like Vanilla Ice as person until i watched Surreal Life (2). Back in 1990, Vanilla Ice waz on The Arsenio Hall Show and brought Flavour Flav out of the audience. Aresenio attacked him and said something like "did you do something like that to give you Hip-Hop credibility?" It waz funny seeing Arsenio go at him like that. Ice stayed cool and the audience didn't really take sides. But a few days later, Chuck D made a comment saying Public Enemy would never be connected to Vanilla Ice. :hilarious:

Oh man, i wonder if i accidently sent u the version without the rap....sounds like it. OPPS!!

One thing that has been bugging me about this post is that Rock The House isn't included. I wouldn't chose it as their weakest album, but it's rediculous 2 not include it just because some people don't have it.

Is this a bad time 2 say that i spent $60 on Avex The Album to get the track "Family Christmas?" And $80 to get the Japan import of JJ+FP Greatest Hits" so i could get "Don't Fight The Feeling."

Money dosen't equal love. I don't know his situation or his involvment in their lives, but this women sound like they want his money and dont' wanna work a day for the rest of their lives. I mean, do they really need $22,000 to $30,000 a month to cover the child's needs?!?

no jive screws anyone who isn't a pop artist. They aren't a rap label. Mobb Deep was on the label, got NO promotion. They left though Jive wazn't a big pop label until 1999. Up until that part, they were a Hip-Hop label. One of the biggest Hip-Hop labels in history. DJ Jazzy Jeff + Fresh Prince, R. Kelly, Keith Murray, Souls of Mischtif, Aaliyah, Too Short, Boogie Down Productions/KRS-One, Fu-Schnickens', Nuttin' Nyc, Smooth, A Tribe Called Quest. When i look at FP's time on any label, Jive treated them the best when it came 2 promotion. I know Jive ripped them off and held them 2 a rediculous contract, but Columbia actually tarnished his image...and Interscope hasn't done anything. That's why i say Jive. On Jive, they had gave them the most music videos and promotion...and they all got played!!

Actually, about 2 weeks ago, things started 2 clean up a bit. I could see things working out in a good way. But this week all that work waz undone in a BIG WAY.

I know where it is...that's how i know that "Back up!" is all that is said. -
Homebase could never be one of the weakest. The only way i could see someone not liking it 4 all it is, is if they weren't a JJ+FP fan or even a fan of Hip-Hop music in the early '90's...which dose apply 2 alot of people here. The production is flawless, but if u wern't down with them back then, u may not feel it as much. Lyric 4 lyric, the album is great. This waz JJ+FP's comeback. This waz the debut of their more mature sound. U can't front on that.

I just made a post over there called "Pathetic" which is about the state of that message board. Whoever wants 2 go over there and back me up...feel free 2 do it.

Wes, what version of the song have u heard?!?! "I Sleep Much Better (In Someone Else's Bed)" is a Billy Ocean single from 1989. Billy Ocean was a mainstream R-N-B artist in the mid-late 80's. He's known best for his songs like "Get Out of My Head (And In To My Car). The best way 2 discribe him would be 2 say that if Bobby Brown waz 7 years older back in the 80's...he would have been like Billy Ocean. Anyways, it's fun, upbeat R-N-B track and it features a rap from da 'Prince and Mimi (a female emcee from Philly). His rap is really funny.
