Wow, that waz a trip down memory lane! On my old Will Smith Fan Domain profile it had the link 2 th ALI site but it's no longer there. The only other street team site we did waz for Born To Reign and The Magnificent...and a page linking them. Man, me and Wes would stay busy with that stuff...ha ha.

If i think something is wack..and chose 2 diagnose it as wack...this cuz i simply don't like. To be a "hater" i believe their has 2 be angry, bitter, and/or immature motives behind it. When i hear a Ja-Rule track, i don't flip out and start knocking over furniture...ha ha. I just say it sucks and change the station/channel.

A few months ago i suggested 2 Kel that The Weekly Bread get a myspace page. I said that it would fix the problems that come up when some people don't get their e-mail on Sunday and that it would increase the amount of people receiving it. I love the commercial on TV that has the scribbled drawings of the guy smoking weed and he says how he can quit anytime he wants and his dog asks why he doesn't. I don't remember the reply...i just remember the dog walking away while the pothead holds his arms out saying "come back...i need u!" People who haven't seen the commercial probably think i'm high right now...ha ha. But those who have seen it know what i mean.

As time has passed...i remember the pictures and links going dead. I don't even think most of them are online anymore. I'll look 4 them. Maybe Wes can help.

The answer is easy 4 me. I like The Return of The Magnificent better. The production is by far much better. It's much more solid and flows 2gether more as an album. The fact that most of the artists are Hip-Hop artists make the concept a bit tighter as well. The album is a bit more fun than The Magnificent. I also like that better-known artists are on the project. I think the balance is much better this time around. The things i like more about The Magnificent is that it featured a tight knit group of people that were 4 the most part in a closer circle. I also think more of the lyrics and song topics were more down 2 earth and easier 2 relate 2 real life. The mixture of music styles was also nice...tho' it lead 2 less of a concept album. Why i chose The Return of The Magnificent as the better album, the 1st album is definitely gonna hold a special spot in my favorites. Both albums are dope. I think i'm gonna pop The Magnificent in right now. Just imagin what the next album is gonna be like!!

Yeah, Common Sense can always be relied on when it comes 2 lyrics. And as long as he backs himself with good production, the album will be dope. It's good 2 hear more good music is on the way....it's an event these days.

Yeah, i'm not 2 worried about it. I plan on hearing new music reguardless. He also may be doing this 2 get out of his deal with Interscope. Back in the 90's, a handful of artists just totally stopped recording and touring...or doing ANYTHING. That way their labels would think they broke up or weren't gonna do anything worth releasing which got them out of their contracts. Put yourself in his shoes. There are $1,000 reason 2 not be motivated on the music front. So while he's not motivated, he's gonna say stuff like that. Taking the old interview and then putting it next 2 the newer newz that they are doing the real "Brand New Funk 2K7" shows nothing but hope 4 the hypefan.

Half the time, the shows that just get cancelled like this actually have unaired episodes (just not usually the final one). Which is cool now that shows get released on DVD, cuz the fans actually get 2 watch them now.

Same here. Alot of his production is good. But his lackluster lyrics and often awful vocal presence just don't keep my attention...if not turn me off 2 his music. Overall, it's his attitude and personality that annoys the crap outta me.

I wasn't even sure the show waz still airing. My life has been 2 busy and/or crazy 2 commit 2 any TV shows that aren't regularly aired on cable channels. Since i had no idea what evening and time it aired, i just planned on buying it on DVD whenever it comes out.

I agree with both of y'all. However, while "Men In Black" may have been his "comeback"...it's also the reason that some people don't take him serious. Not the time between the albums dropping.
