  1. The only released So So Def Remix of "Gettin' Jiggy Wit It" i mentioned above. Just a nice mainstream slick Hip-Hop beat. FP is the only person rhyming on it and one of the girls from Xscape sings on the hook (LaTocha i think). Pete Gunz + Lord Tariq are credited with ad libs, but they were taken out, as u can't hear them on the song at all. The other is the grittier remix u just found, feauring a new verse from FP along with the appearnces from Cam'ron, Big Pun, R.O.C. and Jermaine Dupri. Those are the only So So Def Remixes.
  2. DJ JAZZY JEFF - My Soul's Not For Sale (Instrumental) Jeff N Fess / My Soul's Not For Sale Promo CD (2007)
  3. While i waz looking thru' the old street team sites me and Wes used 2 do, i found this part in the discography of the Born To Reign one (http://www.geocites.com/willsmith_borntoreign). So these are the songs that FP co-wrote for 2 Too Many's album. Where's The Party? (2 TOO MANY) 1992 My Imagination (2 TOO MANY) 1992 Rumors (2 TOO MANY) 1992 Call Me (2 TOO MANY) 1992
  4. JJ+FP - U Saw My Blinker (Lynn Tolliver's Radio Edit) U Saw My Blinker CD Promo (1992) Yes, the infamous album version that happens 2 be named after a guy who just played the B word backwards and took a few lyrics out, getting the Radio Edit named after them making the fans thinking it could be a remix only 2 get disappointed when they hear it....no, i'm not bitter after all these years.
  5. With all u guys who are on iTunes, u didn't notice they put that remix up!??!?!? That's crazy!! esanchez, i thought u were talking about the So So Def Remix available on import versions of the single...which is just FP's regular raps over a slicker more So So Def kinda beat with one of the girls from Xscape on the hook. The remix featuring Jermaine Durpi, Cam'ron, R.O.C., and Big Pun waz never commercially released or even on promos. It popped up on a Kayslay mixtape back in '97 and that's it...meaning a white lable of it had 2 be leaking around. Over the years none of us could ever find it. So if it has popped up on iTunes, this is a real gem. That remix is excellent. But i highly doubt a mastered version with edited lyrics ever left the studio.
  6. ARRESTED DEVELOPMENT - Ease My Mind Raw + Live (2004)
  7. Here's the other 2. http://www.geocities.com/willsmith_borntoreign http://www.geocities.com/jazzyjeff_themagnifient
  8. Wow, that waz a trip down memory lane! On my old Will Smith Fan Domain profile it had the link 2 th ALI site but it's no longer there. The only other street team site we did waz for Born To Reign and The Magnificent...and a page linking them. Man, me and Wes would stay busy with that stuff...ha ha.
  9. If i think something is wack..and chose 2 diagnose it as wack...this cuz i simply don't like. To be a "hater" i believe their has 2 be angry, bitter, and/or immature motives behind it. When i hear a Ja-Rule track, i don't flip out and start knocking over furniture...ha ha. I just say it sucks and change the station/channel.
  10. It's already been posted...but thanx.
  11. Ummm...wouldn't a song have 2 have cuss words in it 2 have an edited or explict version??
  12. Here we go. My favorite song off the album (i think). Some of the whipsers were actually kinda hard 2 make out, even after adjusting the sound. There a blank (______) or 2 somewhere in the song where i could use some help. My Soul Ain't For Sale / My Soul's Not 4 Sale DJ Jazzy Jeff feat. Raheem DeVaughn My soul My my soul My soul My soul is not for sale Yeah Hey, what good is a beat if the music is weak So I went to the street with my knapsack And I recorded, yes they bought it And they two-step and soul clapped I wrote this in a dream, I'm a microphone fiend from the rimshot to the high hat I shall ( I shall) proceed (proceed) to rock and write why they be like... (I never ran I never run) What's wrong with him? (I march to a different drum) What's wrong with him? (Still, I'm on another page) Tell me what's wrong with him? (Hey, I got a son to raise) What's wrong with him? (I will be a slave) What's wrong with him? (This ain't industry) What's wrong with him? (This here is history) Tell me what's wrong with him? (Oh man, ain't nothin' wrong with me; I just keep 'em sayin') What's wrong with him? How he doin' this, why he doin' that How he sellin' this? I hear 'em whisperin' You know I tell 'em... My soul ain't for sale And I be hearin' How he doin' this, why he doin' that How he sellin' that? I hear 'em whisperin' You know I tell 'em My soul ain't for sale I'm an R-N-B hippie soul_____ rock star Play this in the club or turn it up in your car Do what'cha like, how ya like Now what you hear is not a test It's Jeff on the 1's and 2's And this here is the headknock, make ya body rock To get you in yo' groove What's wrong with him? (I'm caught up in the melody) What's wrong with him? (Most High flowin' through me) What's wrong with him? (In my music, I ain't never lie) Tell me what's wrong with him? And out the clear I hear 'em whisperin' How he doin' this, why he doin' that How he sellin' that? I hear 'em whisperin' You know I tell 'em My soul ain't for sale And i be hearin' How he doin' this, why he doin' that How he sellin' that? I hear 'em whisperin' You know I tell 'em My soul ain't for sale And out the clear I hear 'em whisperin' How he doin' this, why he doin' that How he sellin' that? 13. Same here...he may only log on every Sunday when he posts 'em.
  14. The people who seem 2 mostly listen 2 commercial rap seem 2 share the same opinion. I consider it justification. I like some of the things u said Ash Trey.
  15. Yes!! I love that one 2. "I smoke fools like u on the basketball court!"
  16. What's it say on the sticker? Mine didn't have any sticker on it.
  17. DIGITAL UNDERGROUND - No Nose Job (Laid Back NY Bass Mix) No Nose Job CD Single (1992)
  18. A few months ago i suggested 2 Kel that The Weekly Bread get a myspace page. I said that it would fix the problems that come up when some people don't get their e-mail on Sunday and that it would increase the amount of people receiving it. He never really said anything about it. But outta no where, they now have one. Go 2 http://www.myspace.com/TheWeeklyBread 2 sign up!!
  19. I love the commercial on TV that has the scribbled drawings of the guy smoking weed and he says how he can quit anytime he wants and his dog asks why he doesn't. I don't remember the reply...i just remember the dog walking away while the pothead holds his arms out saying "come back...i need u!" People who haven't seen the commercial probably think i'm high right now...ha ha. But those who have seen it know what i mean.
  20. As time has passed...i remember the pictures and links going dead. I don't even think most of them are online anymore. I'll look 4 them. Maybe Wes can help.
  21. The answer is easy 4 me. I like The Return of The Magnificent better. The production is by far much better. It's much more solid and flows 2gether more as an album. The fact that most of the artists are Hip-Hop artists make the concept a bit tighter as well. The album is a bit more fun than The Magnificent. I also like that better-known artists are on the project. I think the balance is much better this time around. The things i like more about The Magnificent is that it featured a tight knit group of people that were 4 the most part in a closer circle. I also think more of the lyrics and song topics were more down 2 earth and easier 2 relate 2 real life. The mixture of music styles was also nice...tho' it lead 2 less of a concept album. Why i chose The Return of The Magnificent as the better album, the 1st album is definitely gonna hold a special spot in my favorites. Both albums are dope. I think i'm gonna pop The Magnificent in right now. Just imagin what the next album is gonna be like!!
  22. GINUWINE - Way Back Back 2 Da Basics: Special Edition (2006)
  23. EL DA SENSEI + SADAT X - On And On Relax Relate Release (2002) I got this album strictly cuz it waz an indie release...and cuz Borders waz selling it 4 like $2 a year ago. I never heard of this guy, but i love the album.
  24. I'll do "My Soul's Not For Sale" tomorrow!
  25. Yeah, Common Sense can always be relied on when it comes 2 lyrics. And as long as he backs himself with good production, the album will be dope. It's good 2 hear more good music is on the way....it's an event these days.
