  1. If Will becomes a Scientologist it's gonna damage a lot of my appreciation for him, mostly because I've seen the bs scientology is full of. Part of me thinks it's just Will trying to sound nice for everyone and another part of me thinks Will sure has been talking kinda weird lately. God Blessa!
  2. I've seen it. Probably the best thing BET has aired. I only wish there was more it. I'm disappointed that the people I was excited to see on it barely did any talking. I feel like too many vets are keeping their mouth shut in fear of being chastised by a bunch of young morons. God Blessa!
  3. Get the song with the loud bass and the synthesized music samples. God Blessa!
  4. Sherlock Holmes just hung himself. Thanks a lot Turntable. God Blessa!
  5. Kel owe me money or something man. God Blessa!
  6. I thought the cover was kind of cool, then I realized it was a girl hole. God Blessa!
  7. It's not that hard. There's definitely parts that I gotta do over though. It's a fantastic game though. God Blessa!
  8. Okay, I've had this game since Monday and it's one of the best games I've ever played. The game is so good that the mayor of America said that there's no way you could come up with a valid excuse not to own the game. Honestly, it's got fantastic design, gameplay, and a ton of variety. I know most of you live in the wrong parts of the world that haven't gotten the game yet but when it hits your sea line make sure you cop it. The game is just the bee's knees! God Blessa!
  9. im shocked! Why single me out, theres other people as old as me and even older. Your not a spring chicken yourself. anyway happy birthday ale! A spring chicken huh? I swear, I'll never figure out your generation's lingo. God Blessa!
  10. Happy Birthday Ale. 19 is a good age. See if Julie can remember that far, I'm sure she's got loads of stories. Julie! I kid because I care! God Blessa!
  11. Hey Tim, is this the whole game? I remember you linking the demo a while ago. I got pretty far and then it crashed on me. Is this the whole game a demo? Edit: After doing some actual reading I can see that it is in fact the same game, just no longer in demo form. Hmmm.... God Blessa!
  12. He's got a song with Lil' Wayne too? Damn... God Blessa!
  13. Dang, I remember reading bout JMJ on the B2R-themed board. 5 years already.... Still no solid news on the murder. Rest in peace, duke. God Blessa!
  14. New developments, a title change is becoming more a very real possibility. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Looks like Nas may have pissed off the wrong folks with his album title. Nope, not self-righteous Black “leaders”. Nope, not know-nothing Fox TV show hosts. We’re talking white folks with big money: A New York Assemblyman has called on Universal Music Group to change the title of Nas’ upcoming album, Nigger, or lose $84 million in investments. As reported earlier, Nas announced his album’s controversial title at a concert two weeks ago, and the news was met with stern disapproval from Reverend Jesse Jackson and The NAACP (The National Association for the Advancement of Colored People). Despite the uproar caused by his announcement, Nas said he would not be changing the album’s title and claimed that his label Def Jam, a subsidiary of Universal, had not offered any resistance to the title. According to The Brooklyn Paper, Fort Greene assemblyman Hakeem Jeffries has requested New York’s Comptroller Thomas DiNapoli ‘to withdraw the $84 million that the state pension fund has invested in Universal and its parent company, Vivendi’. “[They are] profiting from a racial slur that has been used to dehumanize people of color for centuries,” said Jeffries. “It is time for Nas and other hip-hop artists to clean up their act and stop flooding the airwaves with the N-word.” This should be interesting. Will Def Jam take the hit, or will they change the album title and make Nas eat his words? It’s gon be a cold winter! ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- http://www.celebully.com/nas-may-cost-def-...llion-p242.html God Blessa!
  15. Not nearly as violent as the original trailer. People thought it would be getting an NC-17 here. I wonder if they're dumbing it down to an R. God Blessa!
  16. I like the cakes. A lot. God Blessa!
  17. No, Lerkot wanted something crazy. I want Will to make an album without having to wait 3 years. I said shoot AT him. Not SHOOT him. Also, I want the next album to be a JJFP album. No "co-writers." God Blessa!
  18. The one who convinces Will should probably be pointing a gun in his general direction. Maybe shoot at him a couple times too, just to teach him a lesson. God Blessa!
  19. Nobody said you were supposed to "enjoy" your job, Luigie. You've been slacking since the day you got this job. Boss isn't gonna like this man. God Blessa!
  20. Totally forgot about Pac's album. I don't know though. That's how the album looked though too. Starred out. I've been thinking and that's the likely case for Nas' album too. If the title stays then I just can't see it getting the kind of push he wants. God Blessa!
  21. Nas names new CD after racial epithet 10/19/2007 8:30 PM, AP Nekesa Mumbi Moody To some, it's a hurtful racial epithet. For Nas, it's an album title. The rapper told MTV News that he would indeed be naming his new album after the N-word. And he denied earlier reports that the album's title would be spelled "N---a," considered in some circles a less inflammatory epithet. He said the disc is due out Dec. 11. "(People) shouldn't trip off the (album's) title; the songs are crazier than the title," he said in an interview posted on MTV's Web site. But some have been outraged by the rapper's choice. "The title using the 'N' word is morally offensive and socially distasteful. Nas has the right to degrade and denigrate in the name of free speech, but there is no honor in it," the Rev. Jesse Jackson said in a news release. "Radio and television stations have no obligation to play it and self-respecting people have no obligation to buy it. I wish he would use his talents to lift up and inspire, not degrade." There were reports that his label, Def Jam, had scuttled the title idea. But Nas told MTV that he has had no opposition from the label, and said his intent in naming the album the N-word was to take the sting out of it. "We're taking power from the word," he added. "No disrespect to none of them who were part of the civil rights movement, but some ... in the streets don't know who (civil rights activist) Medgar Evers was ... they know who Nas is," the rapper said, referring to the civil rights leader slain in the 1960s. "And to my older people who don't know who Nas is and who don't know what a street disciple is, stay outta this (expletive) conversation. We'll talk to you when we're ready. Right now, we're on a whole new movement. We're taking power from that word." A representative for Def Jam did not immediately respond to an e-mail seeking comment from The Associated Press sent after business hours. The use of the N-word is common in rap, though rapper Chamillionaire recently declared he would no longer use that word or curse in his rhymes. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I'd personally prefer he didn't, I'm sure the label is thinking the same thing. I think the big retailers won't even sell the album with that name. I think there's a good chance it ends up getting changed, but you never know. What do you guys think? God Blessa!
