My girlfriend is considering joining a sorority. Her successful, happy sister was/is in this sorority and my girlfriend is noticing the fun they have. She wants to join. Last year I thought about joining a fraternity but wasn't a fan with how segregated many of them are and I would rather have spent that time with the friends I already knew. The way I see it, frats/sororities are a way to make great bonds.... with the people in those frats/sororities. See, we didn't live in the same building last year and as a result we didn't spend as much time together as we should have. This upcoming school year we will be living in the same building but if she joins the sorority I think I'll see her less than ever. IRONIC the way things work out... in a really crappy way. I sound very caring. Make sure that we note that I am writing this for selfish reasons and selfish reasons alone. What do you guys think of such a situation? Whenever I try to think of it my mind goes off into outer-space. I think you guys might not agree with me or even care but I would like to hear some genuine opinions on such a thing. I'm not into the idea of her changing so much (which I see as a possibility). I dunno. She belongs in college, she knows what she wants out of life. I don't belong there and I'm just there to do it really. In fact, if I wasn't destined to be the greatest man of the millennium then I'm sure the President would have ordered my execution long ago for being a handsome, muscular, intelligent space waste of. ...but no one (other than the hype fan) can remember one word to that song...so it ends up just like "Stronger." I like "Stronger" and am ok with that, yet I know it's substance is lacking. The thing is, "Switch" is just the same because perception is reality, and no one really can remember what Will said in that song because it was made for the radio. Even for me, who listens to all Will has, I have a tough time remembering the words to a song that you would think I would know. It's just not the focus of the song so it doesn't get any more accomplished than any other pop song. My point isn't about defending Switch. I like the song, but it's low on my Lost and Found tracklisting. I'm not even giving Stronger huge props or anything. You're right, people won't remember this song's words- all I'm saying is that I like it better than most of the crap out now. It's sad that standards are being lowered like this for me. You know, I complain about being bored but I never think to do something productive like finishing this movie. The animation is almost done and then I need to put in sound (which would hopefully be a breeze in comparison). I don't think it's nearly as bad as those B2K sigs but I think it's a problem when your signature is bigger than your post. You guys are doing a bad job at standing up to me. I am not a monster! ...and someone should really say something about it. Back on the old Will Smith board (the Born to Reign-themed board), one of the worst things would be B2K people with long, ridiculous, marquee-scrolling, music-playing signatures. My signature has been this large (but handsome) stick figure for a long time now and as far as I know, I have yet to finish the movie he is from. It's still in the slowest production ever, but that's no excuse. Someone should really stand up to me and tell me to make it smaller (but I fear that if I don't see this big guy spinning a fork I'll never remember to finish the movie, what a predicament). I may take offense and retaliate though. I think I contribute a lot here. God Blessa!
