I Am Legend soundtrack?

Man this site is so good..For those that don't know anything about it. It basically tracks the music you listen to. Anyway the Will Smith page is interesting http://www.last.fm/music/Will+Smith?q=will+smith It shows what Will Smith tracks people are listening to. 530 have listened to I Can't Stop. Wow. Potnas isn't even in the top 50. Crazy. All the big hits people seem to listen to.

Kool Jazz is a fantastic album. They had some great jazz tracks aside from their big hits. Cozmo D can tell you how good those bands from the 70s were. Earth Wind & Fire are still doing their thing.

Great article. People need to be telling Will how much we need a JJFP album at this point. There needs to be a bmovement against the mediocrity out right now. JJFP could lead the charge if they take the time to record.

He was giving props to "the bridge is over" but I doubt all of the 50 cent fans would even know who KRS1 is or let alone the impact of that song.

Hopefully word of mouth keeps the sales going for a long time. It's done well on itunes and amazon. I think a lot of people have illegally downloaded this and then not bought the album. When the advance leaked it seems everyone had it. For a small label like BBE sales of 10, 000 in the US would be quite good. I expect more for the quality of this album tho. I'm sure its also doing pretty well worldwide with Jeff's extensive touring.

I dont think I've heard another hip-hop track like this. It uses a country sample, but Dallas Austin somehow turns it into a hip-hop beat. The track has a brilliant use of a Slick Rick vocal sample, "I'm feeling sad." Fresh Prince comes with a really laid back rap, that just has an amazing reminiscent feel. What summertime is to summer, Ain't No Place Like Home is to family and home. The female vocals are so smooth and completely add to the feel. I love how they are layered over the track. Excellent production. Will's wordplay really shines here. "I'm trapped inside of me/lost in the memory/of how things used to be" What I love about Will is the emotion he puts in his raps. You can totally feel his verses by the way he sounds, his expression and how he executes the raps. Give it up for a JJFP classic. :adore:

it didnt even make the top 200 albums this week.. so it sold less than 3000 copies.. I really thought this album would have done so much better.. Hip-hop is in a truly sad state.. :nhawong:

And then when I got to college and got real busy, I couldn't do that any more, so I guess I just left altogether? Kinda stupid lol.
