Ahh...here's a short list...

50 Cent - he's just all about getting attention 4 sales. He has almost nobody left on his side cuz he's dissing everyone.

Eminem - i do have respect 4 what he's done in the past and a few things he's done recently...but overall i'm dissapointed in him. Listen 2 The Slim Shady LP...it's a masterpeice. It went downhill from there. He even says on some of his records that he dosen't do have of the things he says in his records. With The Slim Shady LP, that waz cool cuz alot of trax were basically stories with really exagerated and comical parts 2 them. With the newer music he there's just more violence and dark stuff. I don't see why he went that direction.

Ja-Rule - He just seems 2 be making music where he tries 2 be the hardest, thugged out guy on the scene...but the image just dosen't work. U can tell it's not 2 real.

I wouldn't call someone like Nelly fake, i just don't think his music is good...except 4 a handful of trax, and that's only becuz of the feel of the song, not the lyrics or his "skillz."

Well everyone here is gonna have their opinions and that was my opinion about Jadakiss doin' "Why" for sales and tryin' to sound like Chuck D when he's really a thug rapper, he has no right to start talking about politics when he raps about getting high and gangbangs 99% of the time. Anyway I could be here all day sayin' how many entertainers are fake, but I'd rather make this short and say that JJFP is one of the few entertainers that're keepin' it real to who they are, most of the entertainers are hypocrites and are setting bad examples with their gimmicks, if you read an entertainment magazine, you could literally see all the dirt that they do 'cause the ones that are good for society don't get much recognition, dirt sells. :nono:

i would say 50 cent is real because he never sugercoats things and tells it like it is while others try to hide their true feelings

yeah. i'd say donald duck is real...

50 cent never sugarcoats anything. he just lets the ignorance flow. yeah, 50 is keeping it real... real dumb!

here's my proof. rapping about sex, girls, ice, cars, drugs and hood activities are ignorant. we all know that this stuff goes on in the hood. i'm from the south side of chicago where i see this on a daily basis. it's one thing to talk about that kind of stuff but what about offering solutions to it.

rappers who rap about this garbage are doing absolutely nothing to edify hip-hop or to put positive images in the minds of impressionable young kids. the last thing kids need to hear after seeing negative images all day is hearing more trash from cats like 50. the hood lifestyle is not glamorous. innocent people are harmed by the hood lifestyle. my best friend was killed by a meaningless robbery attempt.

as i said before, cats can like 50, g-unit and others. but please, don't insult my intelligence by telling me it's real. if you want to be real, offer some solutions. if you want to be real, tell kids to stay in the books. if you want to be real, tell young people to be active in the church and the political process. being fake is "teach you how to stunt."

and that's what real!

I wanted to post the lyrics to this KRS-ONE song called "Hot" where he breaks down the sucker mcs in the hip-hop game:

Yeah

Who will be standing when the smoke clears?

(KRS-One) --> Redman

Word up!

What's up with this?

We're coming through

Boogie Down style, kid

What's up

This is KRS-One

The light at the end of the tunnel

Yo, they not HOT, all they do is talk a lot

That's not HOT, where's your respect on the block?

That's HOT, not cause you're friends with the cops

That's not HOT, a real MC you're not

I'm HOT, been hot, repeatedly heated

Don't call the teacher, hah, you best be seated

You got these kids gased up like you own the inventory

Fake muthaf****s ain't tellin the whole story

Tell em how you borrow from everyone you knew

And now that you're on top, they can't borrow from you

That's not hot, tell em how you love bein pop

Cause you was so broke before, sleepin cold on a cot

You don't rock, you grab money

Your crocks rock the spot and you grab them honeys

It's about to get ugly

I don't even go to these bull**** kiddie-ass clubs

You wanna be a thug? Let's thug

First of all, soldiers speak to soldiers

Captains speak to captains

Lieutenant/lieutenant, cool?

But your first mistake is: he's steppin to me, rookie

Like you a O.G. and you just a run-up, fool

Who really got these streets on lock?

Whose name really holds high respect on the block?

Who opened up these clubs and taught you how to mix?

Who opened up these thugs from Compton to the Bricks?

I don't even sound like the rest of you kiddies

I study the ways of God, you studyin t*****s

And ass, I pity your class

Cause you come out with a blast

But you're trash, so you really don't last

They not HOT, all they do is talk a lot

That's not HOT, where's your respect on the block?

That's HOT, not cause you're friends with the cops

That's not HOT, a real MC you're not

They not HOT, all they do is talk a lot

That's not HOT, where's your respect on the block?

That's HOT, not cause you're friends with the cops

That's not HOT, a real MC you're not

This is hotter than heat, too deep, I'm on top of the streets

You weak, you ain't really rockin these beats

You ?????, you dress straight, eat straight

But you're a slave, and yo, you can't come up in a heat tank

G-o-d we thank, we watch what we sell

You better hope these Christians are wrong cause you goin to hell

Think about that when you're spittin your raps

And you call out KRS, I'll put you flat on your back

You're not HOT, all you do is talk a lot

That's not HOT, where's your respect on the block?

That's HOT, not cause you're friends with the cops

That's not HOT, a real MC you're not

What's HOT?

(KRS-One)

That's HOT!

What's HOT?

(KRS-One)

That's HOT!

Who's HOT?

(KRS-One)

That's HOT!

Where's your respect on the block?

[ *scratching of* ]

(KRS-One need to be runnin for office

So Butta-Pican Rican, tell em to get off it) --> Redman
