Busta Rhymes is never mediocre, he's a hip-hop legend that represents his own style in the music, I've been looking forward to a Busta Rhymes and FP collabo for years!

In my opinion I think "Wild Wild West" is better than "Men In Black" as a soundtrack song and the video was a classic, one of the best he's ever done, Stevie Wonder's playing the piano in it, the dances are cool, and Kool Moe Dee with Dru Hill held it down as well. :thumb:

What's up y'all I recently checked out the September issue of Vibe magazine and I found this interesting piece mentioning 51 CD's that are vital for your music collection, on the most part I liked the picks that they made, but I noticed that they didn't include any of JJFP's albums on there, they could have easily included "He's The DJ, I'm The Rapper" 'cause that was the 1st hip-hop album to ever win a Grammy and set the table for the legendary career of JJFP, it doesn't seem right that they mentioned "Paid In Full", "Criminal Minded", "It Takes A Nation of Millions To Hold Us Back","The Great Adventures Of Slick Rick" and "Straight Outta Compton", then not mention "He's The DJ, I'm The Rapper".

The past is over now, not all great albums go double platinum, look at "Illmatic", it barely went gold when it dropped but is considered Nas' best album even though his other albums went multiplatinum since.

Damn I'm happy about my Bulls now, there's no doubt about it that they're going to the playoffs in '05, they just traded Jamal Crawford to the Knicks to get one of the best defensive centers of all-time in Dikembe Mutombo! :hsnono: There's no doubt about it that Jamal Crawford is very young and talented, but Dikembe Mutombo still could play at least 3 more years of solid defense that a lot of guys in the league can't play so I think that the Bulls will do well with this deal, they also got Othella Harrington too in the trade, who's also a solid role player, if they play like a team sky's the limit, they could do what the Pistons did this year, and if Pippen decides to play next year, he could still provide quality minutes off the bench, since he can't play 30-40 minutes a game anymore with his injuries.

Yo mfuqua, if you think that those verses are long, I'm gonna post one of my verses later that'll make Prince's verses seem short! It don't matter how long or short a verse is, it means no difference, if you got a lot to say, don't cut yourself short, sometimes I have so much **** on my mind I'll somtimes end up writing a song wit three 50-bar verses, while when I 1st started it was struggle to write a 15 or 16 bar verse, I came a LONG way. Anyway Prince I felt those verses don't change anything about it, you are very talented, keep doing ya thing! :thumb: These days there's too much focus on beats, there should be more focus on lyrics, and that's the problem these days in hip-hop, if you make an album with dope beats and not much lyrics that're relevant, it should be a wack album 'cause there should be a balance of both. That's what makes rappers like Nas, LL Cool J, Rakim, KRS-ONE, FP, 2Pac, Biggie, and Chuck D so great 'cause they focus on lyricism in their own ways of making songs, whether it's a conscious rap song from KRS-ONE like "Higher Level" or a song that shows comedy from FP like "Parents Just Don't Understand", you can feel the lyrics, whether they make you laugh, dance, get hyped, or chill, they make you feel somethin', but these days when you hear a song they don't make you feel anything, 'cause the lyrics are mediocre.
