  4. Thanks for the pics, I didn't know they were still at Ozzfest.
  5. Wonder Mike Wonder Mike vs. Erick Sermon
  6. Once again I'm gonna say it: INTERSCOPE IS DOING LOUSY PROMOTION!

  8. :iagree: Thanks for sharing, it's great!
  9. I thought Kel Spencer was the only one that was interviewed, I actually do remember Kel mentioning in there though that he started an entertainment company with his brothers, maybe that's what you're referring to? Do his brothers record their own songs too or are they producers for him? I noticed that Tra-Knox wasn't really that involved in writing their parts of the songs so Lemar and Lance most likely wrote their parts, most singers use songwriters to write their songs except for a few like R. Kelly, Keith Sweat, and Alicia Keys.
  10. That's the thing with haters though, they could really stretch a story, you tell them that somebody gave Will imput on a song for his album and they'll turn around to say that person wrote the whole album for Will! :lolsign: Don't believe what everybody tells you! Will could've possibly helped write songs for some of his friends too but maybe didn't want to be credited since he has like 300 million already and didn't want to take away from them, he might just be doing his homies a favor by giving them credit. btw, here's your answer, Will says in this interview that he has a book full of rhymes before he records his albums, his name is always credited on all the songs too, rappers like P. Diddy and Bow Wow use ghostwriters since their names ain't credited for writing the songs: http://www.nzgirl.co.nz/articles/1354 "-You've now released three albums in five years, which puts you ahead of some full time musical acts. How do you pull that pace off with your busy film career? -Well, I write all the time, which makes it a lot easier. I never really come out of the lab. I'm always writing down ideas and concepts. I have a book full of em when I start an album. So generally, I only have to come up with three or four new things to make an album."
  11. I was just checkin' out the credits to 'Born To Reign' and Will mentions that their names are Theron(Chico), Ramon, and Tone, so Lemar and Lance ain't in Tra-Knox, so are they just songwriters or do they rap like Kel Spencer too? Speaking of Kel Spencer is that mixtape ever comin' out soon or is it comin' out in 2010 when the "Party Starter" video drops? :lolsign:
  12. They were supposed to release an album in 2003 but it got shelved, who knows what happened there, I think they're only acting now.
  13. Lennie Bennett is Kel Spencer, who was featured on "Uhhh" and co-wrote some songs with Will over recent years, I think the rest are a part of Tra-Knox, maybe all related to Kel Spencer.
  14. That's just haters talkin' s*** tryin' to discredit Will's talent and think that he doesn't write any of his lyrics, they say that about basically every rapper, I even remember read on a forum that Ill Will wrote all the lyrics on "Illmatic" and another time I remember reading some hater saying that LL wrote all of Run-Dmc's lyrics and they even say that LL had ghostwriters on "The G.O.A.T." album and Rakim wrote all of Queen Latifah's lyrics, basically every great rapper gets this hate, haters'll say anything when they don't like somebody. Will's been rappin' longer than most of us been livin', why would other people write all of his lyrics? That's just stupid! Will most likely just paid homage to Royce 5'9 on the hook of "Lost and Found", which were lyrics on one of Royce 5'9's songs. If you got your friends hangin' out at the studio with you, they'll get credit, that's all. Will talks in many interviews about writing his lyrics, the rhymes are personal for somebody else to write them, he most likely writes his lyrics first and then shows his friends them and asks for feedback like we do here in this forum when we post our songs but he's generous enough to give them credit unlike some rappers that're selfish, he's good friends with Kel Spencer and Nas, it's like if I got a record deal and I gave some credit to those here who looked at my lyrics and gave me feedback, lol.
  15. I posted this article over on Public Enemy's forum, they're giving him and even Jada props too! :dope: http://www.publicenemy.com/pb/viewtopic.php?p=79908#79908 I think spreading this article around on the hip-hop sites you go on could be good promotion too! :interesting:

  17. Sam Cassell may be old but he could help lead the Clippers to the playoffs, he could be a mentor for all the younger players on that team.
  18. Hey rawad Tim could play it for you on his radio shows if you wanna hear the track, I personally suggest for you to buy "Born To Reign" last among the JJFP/Will Smith albums, or for a bargain price since it ain't his best album, I actually buy most albums in my collection for bargain prices 'cause spending $15 for every CD gets expensive when you're a big music fan.
  19. I dont remember "You Saw My Blinker" being released? Actually I have to say its the most NON Will song I have ever heard. Just the fact that he cusses throughout the song and talks about breakin girls wrists and giving the court the finger and other things just kind of turns me off. Its kind of funny but I still think its the worst song he has ever made IMO. ← He only said bitch a few times, that's not cursing throughout the song, throw on Eminem's album and that's cursing throughout, lol, I thought it was one of the dopest songs on "Homebase" though, I don't know why they put that on there either, this is just supposed to be lists of our favorite songs anyway though, which would be mostly misses that never came out for me, since most of Will's best songs weren't ever released, especially in the Big Will era, like I would put tracks like "The Rain" and "Chasin' Forever" on mine instead of "Gettin' Jiggy Wit It" and "Freakin' It" plus replace "Switch" with "Pump Ya Brakes".
  20. And that attitude made him go and buy the album? Stop the harrassing and ****. ← Yeah that's true, there's no need to be so hard on a fan, we can't all afford to buy every album that we'd like to, that doesn't make us not real, that just means we're broke, lol, I don't think anyone said they were puttin' up the track anyway but I don't see nothin' wrong with letting somebody listen to a song as long they're gonna buy it later on, btw "How Da Beat Goes On" was one of the few highlights on "Born To Reign", that's a great feel good track!
  21. That's great, it reminds me of a lot of the poems I write when I go through situations like that and I don't want to put it into a rap song, I just write a few lines like that, if I could sing better myself I'd probably wanna make an r&b album from all that I've wrote.
  22. TO deserves to get paid but he's acting like a baby which could lead teammates and coaches to get mad at him and not want him on the team anymore, it's cool to trash talk other teams but not your own team! :nhawong: If this was an average player doing this, he'd been cut 3 months ago, lol. EDIT: Check this out: McNabb said he isn't bothered by T.O.'s talk ESPN.com news services As the Eagles Camp Turns BETHLEHEM, Pa. -- Donovan McNabb insisted he wasn't stung by criticism from Terrell Owens, laughing off the banished wide receiver's remarks before turning serious and telling him to "keep my name out of your mouth." With Owens seemingly bound for his Atlanta home and taking a break from blasting the Eagles, McNabb joked with reporters, tapped the mikes and rubbed his hands together before taking his seat inside a jammed media tent shortly after Philadelphia's practice Friday. It's a family affair Donovan McNabb told Terrell Owens to leave his family out of Owens' contract squabble. • McNabb strikes back "Yeah! C'mon, bring it!" McNabb said to laughter. Owens again blasted McNabb on two separate interviews with ESPN on Thursday, calling the quarterback a "hypocrite" and saying the two of them could not be successful together. Owens also said he had no desire to speak with McNabb. "It's so funny to me how my name keeps getting thrown out there," McNabb said. "You've just got to have fun with it and that's exactly what we're doing." Owens was told to go home Wednesday after a heated dispute with coach Andy Reid -- and to stay there for a week. He's since lifted weights and shot hoops in front of the reporters camped outside his house and had harsh words for Reid and McNabb in TV interviews. On Friday morning, Owens left his Moorestown, N.J., home with two suitcases and went to Philadelphia International Airport, where he told KYW-TV as he headed to a security gate: "I'm going to the Bahamas. I'm going to get a tan." It appears Owens was joking: He was interviewed by local reporters at an Atlanta airport. McNabb, light and smiling throughout his interview, agreed with Owens the two didn't necessarily have to speak to win. "I still to this day see no reason for us to talk," McNabb said. "When we step on this field, it's all about business. We're professionals that line up and do the right thing." This was the second time this year McNabb has warned Owens to stop talking about him. After Owens complained that McNabb was tired in the Super Bowl, McNabb said "Just keep my name out of your mouth," during a mandatory mini-camp. McNabb, who made a recruiting pitch to get Owens to Philadelphia before last season, was tired of hearing Owens complain. "Now for my name to be thrown out again, this is the second time. Keep my name out of your mouth," he said. "Keep my family's name out of your mouth." Owens called McNabb a "hypocrite" on Thursday because the quarterback said publicly that he did not want to meet with Owens, while T.O said McNabb did try to arrange a meeting. McNabb said he didn't learn until Thursday that his brother did reach out to someone close to Owens to arrange a meeting where the two Eagles could possibly work out their differences. McNabb was bothered that Owens brought his family into his televised rants. "My family doesn't need to be involved in any of this. I don't need to be involved in any of this," he said. "Now when you bring my family into it, I have a problem
  23. You must get a lot of girls then! :interesting:

  25. I think this seems more like an off-topic since we're talkin' about other artists on the charts besides FP, there's a post on the "Big Will" forum about Will's album sales already, this is more about discussing everyone elses sales. btw, if LL released "I'm About To Get Her" with R. Kelly as a single, it'd been a smash and pushed "The Definition" to platinum status, I wouldn't have minded a video for "One In The Morning" either, I don't understand why he didn't try going back on tour again instead of jumping into making movies, I hope he releases a new album soon, did his clothing line every come out yet?
