Thanx 4 posting that!! I'm gonna have 2 pick that up. I'm horrible at remember 2 get books since i don't read much. I never got Alicia Key's book or poems and essays. I never got that book on Run-DMC that FP wrote the intro 4 yet. I'll probably get them all over the next few months.

Yeah, people like Jay-Z release an album every year, but when DMX said he waz hanging up the mic, i waz expecting a long break from the game. I'm hoping he comes right on this one. I like all of his albums, but nothing compares 2 his 1st one. I hope he progress more towards life based songs and not street stuff. I think he's gone thru' much that he has more introspective stuff 2 offer his fans than the stuff that made them fall in love with him.

That's crazy...now we can call it a Top 10 hit and a Top 5 hit. I think Lost + Found is gonna sell like Big Willie Style. It'll do very well, but the sales will be consitant. It'll never be like a big boom in sales on a weekly basis, but over time, the numbers will be impressive. Of course if one of the singles comes out at the right time, with good promotion, we could easily see the album hit Top 10.

Good point. U gotta remember that Hip-Hop commercialy started with "Rappers' Delight." So with it the commerical side of it being about 25 years old, we are still writing how Hip-Hop is gonna pan out. Back in the 80's...u had a guest of emcees. In the 90's, u had established artists still doing their thing, some of them fading away, and a bunch of new acts. In the 2000's, we are watching the original pioneers do their thing on a lower note (the ones who are still around) with many of them gone. We see new acts come and go all the time. Only a few people have stood the test of time for real...like JJ+FP, LL Cool J, De La Soul, etc. So 2 this day, we are still watching how things are gonna change. Think about it this way. In the early 80's, u had people who were 30 who were really feelin' the music. Now some of those people are like 55. So now older people are listening 2 Hip-Hop, and older artists can still have an audience providing they are supporting.

MARIAH CAREY - Without You Takin' it back 2 '94!! And Brakes, i agree. Mariah's album is amazing. I always expect quality from her...but she really outdid herself on this new album.

I don't see him slowing down anytime soon. Lost + Found has kinda re-established his love of Hip-Hop, writing, and recording. By the way, i think the topic title is a bit misleading. I waz kinda disapointed when i opened this post.

Thanx again. He's doin' pretty good 2day. Over the weekend, i wanna get him out 2 the vet and 2 get his fur cut....just incase something like this happens again. My family will be getting back from vacation 2morrow...so i can spread some of the responsibility out 2 them.

I'm kinda excited about this topic. I think every single person on this board has a very mature outlook on the topic reguardless of their spiritual believes and background. It looks like the results are in favor the topic. I think it would be a great way 2 support other people on this board and even contribute 2 a bad situation turning around 4 good. While we are on the topic, let me tell u something that made my night. After working a very long shift 2day, i came home 2 an amazing surprise. After stressing, being upset, and holding back tears all day, i came back home, opened the door, and my dog waz there standing and wagging his tail. He hasn't done that in 3 or 4 days. I ran up 2 him and got down on my knees, he then threw his paws up at me and sat up. He's moving around just a lil' slow, but he looks amazing. He seems 90% better. I almost cryed i waz so happy. He's eating better and everything. It feels like 100 tons of stress have been lifted on my heart. Maybe he waz just sick and is now better...and maybe he waz really doing back and Someone turned the situation around. I don't know, but i feel so much better. Thanks for all the kind words, thoughts, and prayers. I have a feeling he's over this...which makes my life a million times easier 2 live.

Yeah, i saw the poster for it about 7 months ago. I love most of Martin's stuff so u can bet i'll be catching this movie shortly after it comes out.

I haven't heard this yet. But my friend waz telling me about a mixtape she bought called "F*** 50" which is a mixtape of artists dissing 50 Cent and G-Unit. I really wanna hear it (4 a good laugh), but i have a feeling that most of the artists on it aren't that good.

I went ahead and got it. After a crappy last few days, i figured i deserved something even tho' i really shouldn't have gotten it quite yet.

The reason i started this post is because my dog, who i've had for 10 years is getting old and having really bad joint pain. There's times where he can't move and it's breaking my heart. I have 2 drop everything else i'm doing just 2 lay by his side, hoping he'll get better. My nerves are on edge and since my family is away on vacation, all the burden is on me and it's just killing me. So those of u who voted "yes," i would appriciate your thoughts and prayers on the situation. If the idea for this is green lighted. It would just be a pinned topic where believers can post things big and small that need the attention of Someone higher and support from fellow board members. The Magnificent waz released nationwide. U just can't find it in every store. Most places like FYE, Circuit City, and Borders have it....but u won't find it at places like Wal-Mart and Target. His next album will most likely be released the same way.

Yeah, i'm hoping i can get a in a better financial situation so i can buy the album 4 my friends. I need 2 expose it 2 more friends 2 so i can intrest them in it. It's still on sale for $9.99 at Circuit City this week.
