For those talkin' about LL, i personally don't think The DEFinition isn't as good as 10. 10 has different flavas and i think the lyrics and subject matter are better. The DEFinition seems 2 radio friendly and "average" 2 me most of the time.

I don't doubt that Ja-Rule might have something 2 say...but it's hard 4 me 2 take him seriously or even care after the majority of music that he has released. And i'm so against the "aka" albums where artists release music under a different name...that's wack 2 me. It should have stopped with 2Pac's Makaveli. In retrospective, Ja-Rule's stuff doesn't look as bad as it waz when u compare it 2 50 Cent's stuff.

Yeah, i know Fergie voiced Sally in a few Peanuts specials. She waz also on Kid Incorporated. However, i never really knew who she waz until 1996 when i got in2 her Pop/R-N-B/Soul group Wild Orchid. Back then she looked like a barbie doll. Tasteful but tasteful cloths, platnium blonde hair, supermodel make-up...the whole thing. They released 2 albums and had moderate success with their singles. Then when i got Elephunk, i checked the credits and waz like "Where have i heard of Stacey Fergison from?"

I like the idea above, that FP could be on the MJ song. FP could drop an introspective verse at the end of the song. However, we all know that everytime MJ + FP do a song...it has a habit of not getting released.

I've loved BEP since 1998. I wish they style waz a lil' more like when they 1st came out...but i still think they have the best of what Hip-Hop has 2 offer on a commerical level. I've been listening 2 the album almost non-stop since it dropped.

The only Junior M.A.F.I.A. song i ever liked waz "I Need You Tonight." It has Aaliyah on the hook and really good, radio friendly production. Other than that, i hated JM. It waz a collection of rappers with no lyrics and no flow. I just hate them.

No way! Certain songs don't need remixes...unless they are really don't properly. "Tell Me Why" is one of those songs that should never be touched. The only way i could see this song being remixed is if FP brought on some steller talent that would have something worth hearing...like LL Cool J or Run.

Sometimes u don't need 2 hear an album 2 know it's not gonna be any good...this would be one of them. Look at the tracklisting. Good albums don't have songs titled that on the album.

I think all of Run-DMC's stuff is good. Their 1st album has that classic "debut album" thing going for it. Just like Rock The House and Radio...it's just classic. Raising Hell has that classic album mystic 2 it. Back From Hell has that classic early 90's feel. Down With The King has that classic Code Red/14 Shots To The Dome/Black Reign vibe 2 it. I urge anyone who calls themselve a fan of Hip-Hop or Rap 2 check all their stuff.

I saw a commerical for Lil' Kim's new album. It said in the commerical that the album got 5 mics. What a joke. They played one of the the songs in the commerical and no album with even 4 mic would have a song like that on it. It's just discusting 2 me. If The Source didn't give Queen Latifah's "Black Reign" 5 mics...then Lil' Kim could never even apply 2 drop an album 2 be considered for 5 mic...PERIOD.

I knew this waz coming out cuz i did some research on it, but i didn't wanna post it until i waz totally sure JJ+FP waz gonna be on there.

When i made my post, she came 2 mind. I've only heard a few snippets of her stuff, but i've been meaning 2 really check her out 4 about a year now.

I remember watching the trailor and laughing. The audience in the movie theater waz making a bunch of noise after it...and i could hear what everyoen waz saying, but i didn't hear any of the usual "i'm gonna see that." It just looks like a really bad hood flick that has ripped off of all the ones done in the 90's.

I've been waiting on these. Thanx 4 the reminder. I gotta see what theis bonus stuff is. I'll eventually have them all.

2 this day, Lil' Kim is the only person i wish he never worked with. I don't care what no one says...i can't stand her. When it comes female emcees, i put MC Lyte, Queen Latifah, SNP, and Yo Yo, Lauryn Hill, and Left Eye at the top of the game. Foxy Brown, Eve, Da Brat, Nonchalant, and Eve are the skilled honerable mentions. Other than that, i don't think there are any others worth mentioning. Lil' Kim and Trina are just the scum at the bottom of the slutty barrel if u ask me.

I just heard the "Wild Wild West" remix. JNite sent it 2 me personally. Very cool stuff. I hope he dose some more work on FP's stuff.

I don't listen 2 their kind of music...but i absolutely love their song "Pince Me." Love it!

She's talking about having a hype behind her return and how successful she is...and her last 2 albums didn't generate any over-the-top success at all. And they day a true Hip-Hop fan says Lil' Kim's music is anywhere near comparable 2 Lauryn Hill's is the day i shoot myself in the face. Her voice is annoying, her flow kills me, her lyrics are trash...and in most cases, her beats aren't any good. The Source dosen't have the kinda of integrity that is used 2 have. If one of the reviewers is stupid enuff 2 give her album 5 mics, i'll just laugh it off. Some may say i'm being hard on her since i haven't heard her album (and don't intend 2), but with her voice and flow, she could never even earn 2 mics from me.
