  1. LL COOL J - Hollis To Hollywood Mr. Smith (1995)
  2. Is this that re-worked Trey Songz song? If it is, i heard it on the radio last week...and i thought the song sucked. Why would he ruin one of his songs 4 something like this?!?
  3. I never really noticed that. Most of the instruments on those JJ+FP albums are electronic...which is probably why they sound the same.
  4. Yeah, OutKast's 1st album is better than all their other stuff put 2gether. However, most of their stuff is good and always pushing the limit...which is important in these days of cookie-cutter, disposable groups in Rap.
  5. "After Party" is like "Gettin' Jiggy Wit It"...a cool song, but nothing compared 2 the artists best music. "For Your Love" leaves "After Party" in the dust. It's pretty much on the same level as "All Because of You."
  6. I'll still get it even if it's 22 minutes. The sale price will make up 4 it. This is Rev Run we are talking about.
  7. MC Hammer didn't release anything under Deathrow. "Pumps And A Bump" waz released when he waz on Giant Records. MC Hammer totally redeemed himself tho' with V: Inside Out....one of my favorite albums ever.
  8. Young Rome aka Romeo is dropping a new album soon. The 1st single is blazing!! It's what commercial rap should be. The song over all is radio friendly, but it's not sell-out processed crap u expect from the G-Unit came. The production is amazing, they lyrics say someting, and MH smooths the whole thing out while borrowing an old hook. This track blew me away just as much as "All Because of You" did when i 1st heard it. The video is dope 2. BET should be airing it regularly soon. I know there's and Imx fan or 2 on this board...be sure 2 check it out...u can thank me later.
  9. Doesn't someone have the album yet?!? I'm hoping this 22 minute thing is false. I'm already prepared 2 be disappointed in the vibe of the album...then letting it grow on me. But if it's only 22 minutes, i may cry.
  10. Yeah, lots of good stuff has come out there year...it's easier 2 look over the garbage this way.
  11. Black Star needs 2 drop a new album. Back in the late 90's...i thought Mos Def has more skillz than Talib Kweli...but now i think the tables have turned. I can't wait 2 hear the new stuff. Thanx 4 posting!
  12. HEAVY D + MCGRUFF - Take A Ride Woo Soundtrack (1998)
  13. KRAZIE BONE - Thug On Da Line (da album) (2001)
  14. I'm going strictly by memory...but here's a few Hip-Hop/Gospel hits that come 2 mind... JJ+FP - The Rain LL Cool J - Crossroads MC Hammer - (can't remember the title...off his 1st album) MC Hammer - Pray MC Hammer - Do Not Pass Me By MC Hammer - Help Lord (Won't U Come) MC Hammer - Goin' Up Yonder MC Hammer - He Keeps Doing Great Things For Me MC Hammer - Where Will I Go Fu-Schnicken's - Heavenly Father Nonchalont - (can't remember the title...off her 1996 album) Man, i know there's alot i'm 4getting. Incase i can't look thru' my music 4 some more, there's a start.
  15. Infamous isn't a word that is taken very seriously tho.' Like many definitions, it's meaning has been slightly twisted over the years.
  16. LL COOL J feat. KELLY PRICE - You And Me (DJ Tomeekk Mix) You And Me (UK Import CD Single) - The G.O.A.T. (2000)
  17. I doubt he'll be retiring anytime soon. I'd love his greatest hits album 2 mark the end of him making music that sucks...but i think the Eminem i used 2 like is long gone.
  18. JJ+FP, The Aftermath...just about the stupidest thing i've heard this week.
  19. Ha ha!! U can't just say it's not as big as "Switch" without saying it isn't big at all. As of right now, the song has done nothing. Show me and outlet 2 vote 4 it and support it, and i will.
  20. LL COOL J - 6 Minutes of Pleasure (Radio Remix) 6 Minutes of Pleasure (Promo Single) - Mama Said Knock You Out (1991) Early 90's Hip-Hop at it's best.
  21. 2PAC, TREACH, + RIDDLER - Loyal To The Game Warren G + Nate Dogg "Regulate" Import CD Single (1994) One listen 2 this, and it's clear how bad Eminem ruined his album Loyal To The Game. Anyone who would replace Treach with G-Unit is obvoiusly insane.
  22. Wow, this post has taken off since this morning. This all i have 2 say. I think porn is gross. It's just a nasty filthy kinda thing. And 2 spend that kinda money on is is just discusting. And the idea of people not being real in their music is a common thing, but that doesn't make it accpetable.
  23. The word "duh" comes 2 mind. One of my friends saw that i had it with me and work. She freaked out and tried 2 steal it. She didn't even know the 1st season had been released. I'm defintly hyped at the moment. I can't wait 2 have some FPofBA marathons. The bonus stuff isn't anything incredible, but still very cool.
  24. Well, JJ+FP hated each other. They constantly got in fist fights on stage. DJ Jazzy Jeff didn't even scratch on the albums...DJ Whiz from Kid 'N Play did. Fresh Prince didn't even write any of his own rhymes. Heavy D and LL Cool J wrote the majority of his material just like Eminem writes the majority of his stuff 2day. Jeff is also bitter at Will becuz Jeff is the better actor. He waz very jealous that The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air was focused on him. Since then, Jazzy has been black listed from sitcoms and movies which are his true passion. The group fell apart for good when Will stole Jazzy's girlfriend. Jeff waz secretly seeing Jada for about a year when Will stole her from him. They are a just a disfunctional mess. Will waz actually arrested for attempted murder last year when he broke in2 Jeff's house 2 years ago and had a gun on him. K, i'm gonna go listen 2 some G-Unit now. Tim, u can delete this when u want...b4 someone actually believes it.
  25. Of course not. He doesn't fit in 2 the same cateogry as the soulless chart topping commerical rappers...so the same standards don't apply. Unlike 50 Cent, Ludacris, Nelly, and so on, FP doesn't need 2 release an album almost every 2 years. He has a different fan base and appeals 2 a different kind of music fan. FP's music career isn't going anywhere...1 weakly accepted single has never stopped him.
