  1. I haven't been in 2 Eminem for about 5 years. The lyrics got meaningless and gimmicky. The beats got wack. Any over all, he just annoys the crap outta me. I used 2 love him when he 1st came out tho.' I'd like 2 hear the new stuff 2 see if he's going in a better direction but i'm definitly not going out and buying this. D12 and G-Unit are just trash 2 me. Busta Rhymes is the only artist on there i like...unless Eminem has seriously cleaned up his act.
  2. I'm real happy 4 her. I can only imagin how hard that had 2 be. I can't wait 2 hear her new album. I hope being out of the limelight and going thru' everything she's gone thru' in the past few years is gonna take her music in a stronger direction.
  3. Let me start off by letting u guys know where i come from as a Superman fan. I grew up on him. From as far back as i remember, i watched him on TV, bought the comic books, dressed up as him for Halloween (over and over again). Superman is just amazing 2 me. Honestly, i think the fact that grew up on Superman kept me making the right choices as i waz growing up. Alot of people grew up loving the Star Wars movie...i grew up on the Superman movies. I'd watch them non-stop. When they finally released them on DVD, i waz all over them. I own probably 400 some Superman comic books, i still have countless action figures (new and old), shirts, lunch boxes, the movies, the DVD sets of the 50's Superman show, the Superboy show, the live action Superboy show, Super Friends and Justice League sets, Lois + Clark, and the new documentary just released last week. That being said...let me crack in2 this movie... 1st off, this movie is said 2 not be a sequel....but it could be. The movie opens up with the voice of Jor-El (Marlon Brando from the 1978 original movie), telling the history of Krypton. The classic music starts, and the credits roll in a fashion nearly identical 2 the originals. Anyone who grew up on the original movies will feel right at home from the start. Superman has left planet Earth for 5 years 2 invistigate news that his home planet had been found. Lois Lane is engaged and has a son. She's given up on Superman and is receiving an award for her article stating why the world doesn't need Superman. Lex Luthor has broken out of jail and wants 2 create his own island, ultimatly destroying the rest of the planet, killing billions. He breaks in2 the Fortress of Solitude (Superman's getaway) and takes the Kryptonian crystals that built it 2 fulfill his plan. 2 make a long story short, Superman returns after finding out that Krypton is gone and that his is alone. He then returns 2 Metropolis and makes a big entrance when he's 1st appears. Clark deals with how Lois' life has changed. Lex Luthor's plan kicks in2 effect, in which his island is built partly with Kryptonite. All in all, the 2 and a half hour movie takes u all over the place. The story is epic. Nearly every single set is very true 2 the original. Smallville looks exactly as it did in the original movie. Lex Luthor's hideout is stylized in a similar way, the Daily Planet has been updated, but that is expected since they were using cord phones and typewriters in the original. Now, on2 the characters. Superman/Clark Kent, is perfect. I originally hated the idea of this Superman...he just seemed 2 pretty boyish 2 me. But that's not the case. He is a spitting image of Christoper Reeve. His voice and mannorizms are incredibly similar. Lex Luther is both hilarious and evil...just like he should be. Jimmy Olsen is hilarious. I had no idea i'd be so in love with this new guy's performance. The only character i couldn't really get with is Lois Lane. I just felt like i hardly knew her during the movie. All in all, the movie is amazing. The sets, music, characters, concepts, and lines are true 2 the original. U'll love the movie if u've never seen a Superman movie...but it's especially good if u have grown up on the originals. Do yourself a favor and see this movie. Oh yeah, and in the trailors, u'll see a teaser for Spider-Man 3. It looks really good, but after watching Superman Returns, u'll forget all about Spider-Man 3.
  4. HA!!!!!!!!! That's hilarious. As long as there is pain involved and no one is seriously injured...stuff like this makes me laugh to no end. I love the flying hat.
  5. Yeah, if the shirts do well, u should consider making matching white fitted hats with the JJ+FP logo on them...the logo in orange and white. Then bracelettes...a matching blue one that says DJ JAZZY JEFF...and an orange one saying FRESH PRINCE. Ha ha...that would be pimp.
  6. I waz listening 2 the album all weekend...i don't take it as a diss at all.
  7. I never saw Roll Bounce (but i own it). The feel good soundtrack and trailor, along with Nick Cannon is why i picked it up. I'll have 2 watch it and compare their performances. Nick Cannon's character actually looked pretty funny.
  8. MC Shan is the man, i'd like 2 see where he's going with this.
  9. G-WIZ - Here He Comes Blankman Soundtrack (1993)
  10. MADONNA - American Life (Live) I'm Going To Tell You A Secret (2006)
  11. Ugh, that Young Joc song is awful. Whenever i hear it on the radio, i have 2 deside which is easier...changing the station...or driving my car in a building as fast as possible. Terrible song...terrible "artist."
  12. JJ+FP - Ring My Bell (Mr. Lee Remix) Single/The Very Best of... (1992)
  13. I've never considered buying the bootleg seasons. Why get a crappy copy when the real stuff is being released so quickly??
  14. In the summer, i tend 2 listen 2 alot of old music...especially 90's Hip-Hop + R-N-B. When it comes 2 newer music, here's a list of albums i expect 2 be playing all summer... NELLY FURTADO - Loose CORINNE BAILEY RAE - (self-titled) DONELL JONES - Journey of A Gemini BUSTA RHYMES - The Big Bang RIHANNA - A Girl Like Me ICE CUBE - Laugh Now, Cry Later JAGGED EDGE - (self-titled) p.s. I hate that Lil' Jon song more than anything....ha ha
  15. Bow Wow had as much potential as any other kiddie emcee back in the day. Why respect would have been hard 2 get, he at least had a chance. That chance is long gone. He's lost his own identity, he makes what's considered 2 the flaky radio fans and young commerical rap fans. His carrer is starting 2 suvive by stupid gimmicks...just like what Eminem did.
  16. What i'm saying is that we get Jeff involved so that it's him behind it. That way it's official. The group is cool and all, but nothing much happens there. People rely on the artist and group pages 4 the real stuff. I think their music page would do much more than the group.
  17. That's awful. I'll keep in mind everyone effected by the loss. RIP
  18. That's kinda weird...cuz Snoop and Coolio when 2 high school 2gether and were cool.
  19. JAGGED EDGE - Watch You (self-titled) (2006)
  20. We should suggest that Jazzy do a JJ+FP music page. A fan created a page for LFO, then contacted Rich and gave him the password so that it could remain official and not get deleted. From there, Rich added rare photos, put up their hit singles, and kept contact with their fans. I think that would be cool. Tim, u should ask Jeff if u can put 2gether a JJ+FP myspace page 4 them. U can put on their dopest photos from back in the day thru' now, put up their best trax, put up the latest news, and send out bulletins when new projects drop.
  21. I never saw the video on TV...only a blurry version on my computer.
  22. Ha ha...he doesn't say that line in "Chasing Forever."
  23. DONELL JONES - I'm Gonna Be Journey of A Gemini (2006) Thank God he's back. Real R-N-B, y'all!!
  24. NELLY FURTADO + TIMBALAND - Promiscuous Loose (2006) This is definitly one of the biggest songs of the summer. I just love it...and so does everyone else i know. I'm getting used 2 the album. Not bad...and Timbaland does some unique stuff on it.
