  1. Back in 1996, before there waz any newz that FP would ever step 2 the mic again, i always wanted him 2 compromise his retire from emceeing with "JJ+FP presents..." album that had a new JJ+FP track as well as new music from legendary groups from the late 80's / early 90's.
  2. NICK LACHEY - Alone What's Left of Me (Import) (2006) Going back 2 Kweli...that's probably my favorite song by him...definitly one of the top 10 Hip-Hop joints recorded in the 2000's.
  3. I'm game for this. I'll have 2 start planning ahead. I just wanna know who else i can expect 2 go 2 strengthen my motivation.
  4. We are so off topic...ha ha...but that whole album is good. Is It Good To You, Sister Sister, Peaceful Jorney, Cuz He's Always Around, Don't Curse, and Now That We Found Love. Classic.
  5. FERGIE + WILL.I.AM - Fergalicious The Dutchess (2006) I didn't like this song 2 much the 1st time around...now i do. Which is good since it's the next single.
  6. DOMINO - This Business of Love The Mask Soundtrack (1994)
  7. "Bump This" is painful 2 listen 2. That beat is okay but it doesn't seem natural. LL rips his rhyme tho'...his subject matter is a bit less powerful tho.' Lloyd Banks and Hot Rod suck...the ruin the song 4 me.
  8. Ha ha...good 2 see another old school fan in here. Speaking of Heavy D, did anybody see Step Up. The slightly slimmer Heavy D plays a guy who runs a grimy club and car jacking business. It's a supporting part but he nails it. Mostly early 90's Hip-Hop and R-N-B calls for the running man.
  9. Yeah, if they did a proper calender 4 him, i'd get it. With crisp and clear promo pictures.
  10. BEYONCE - Deja Vu (Freemasons Club Mix - No Rap) Deja Vu CD Single (2006) What is this?!? A CD single released in the US!?!?
  11. But why would they do that?!? It's got Marvel Comics super heros on it. If they were gonna lie about something like that, wouldn't they say it waz Stan Lee's jacket or something. Besides the Too Damn Hype Posse isn't exactly the most well known rap crew in the world. Nobody trusts anybody these days...ha ha.
  12. I never got in2 the calenders. FP has never done an official one. All the ones i've ever seen were unathorized ones that were full of condid pix that tend 2 look grainy. I figured all the pix would be nothing but him at a suit walking in2 an award show or movie premier. Are they really worth checking out?
  13. BABYFACE + GHOSTFACE KILLAH - This Is For The Lover In You (Puffy's Face To Face Remix) The Other Side of Cool (1996/2005) And no, i haven't checked Govenor yet.
  14. CHRIS BROWN - Say Goodbye Step Up Soundtrack (2006) Half of this soundtrack is worth a listen.
  15. Read interviews...u'll see that music is his life. That's all i gotta say.
  16. BABYFACE, MARIAH CAREY + PLAYA - Everytime I Close My Eyes (Timbaland Remix) The Other Side of Cool (2005) For all the Babyface fans out there, there is a budget remix compilation by Babyface called "The Other Side of Cool" which spans most of his career. Wal-Mart had it for only $5.99.
  17. Thanx 4 posting this. At least there is something coming out 2 distract attention away from this G-Unit infested album. It just goes 2 show he's not focusing on this album 2 much...just trying 2 get off the label formally known as Def Jam.
  18. This waz probably one of those presents that got FP in money troubles back in the day...ha ha.
  19. 2Pac made music that all ages, races, and cultures can relate 2. Even tho' some people only see him the way the media portrayed him, he still has a huge following and as long as his legacy is handled right, he'll be around 4ever. I mean, look at Elvis, his music didn't even mean anything. Just rock music, music 2 dance 2, and a handful of love songs that people could identify with. And his music will never die. 2Pac talked about life, the hood, and the world. Most of his lyrics are timeless, and that's why genorations 2 come will be feeling his music.
  20. Well, according 2 the new single "Bump This"...LL is letting G-Unit trash his music. The beat is okay for a mainstream track...but it's a sound that's been done. LL flows over the track as nice as he's always done, but he's let his rhymes slip a lil' lower 2 the grimier side of things. And even tho' he's not cussing on the track, he's like those idiots Lloyd Banks and Hot Rod cuss on the track. While a prefer Hip-Hop without all the explict lyrics, i don't mind it when it's not done just 2 get a sticker. I love The G.O.A.T....but this new album is scaring me.
  21. I don't think they are similar at all. Todd Smith is like LL grown up and laidback. It may be just a lil' 2 comfortable and safe 4 him...but since The DEFinition came out so recently, i'm just happy 2 get an album so soon. Born To Reign is FP's experimental album. The only similarity that i think that albums have is that both of them are very unpressured on their lyrics. Compared to their other work, their lyrics just seem less inspired on these albums. LL's most experimental album would be Phenomenon. He's got the glossly, late 90's party jams, the raw street stuff, the R-N-B love trax, and the deeper introspective stuff. While the sound of the album is good, it's just peiced 2gether in a weird way....but i love that album.
  22. I hate 2 bust everyone's bubble, but this song actually got leaked back in 2002 or 2003. There is an unathorized MJ CD out there that included this song and that 9/11 track (as well as others) that got put out around 2003 if i remember correctly.
  23. U are partly correct...i can't lie. I don't really like Cassidy. But at the same time, Hip-Hop is about being real. When it's not real, it comes across that way, ending up as weak material. Alot of rappers do stuff like this these days for public relations or as part of probation. It's like Jadakiss' "Why." Not alot of fans bought in2 that super positive attempt at doing an introspective song. Many mature listeners thought that move fell flat on its' face.
