  1. This is a stupid idea. There's no reason 2 go back 2 this movie. It may have been a huge hit but let's be honest...the movie was average. Average movies don't need 2 sequels or prequels. And i can't see FP really being in2 the idea of doing the movie. Sounds like media garbage rather than real news. If FP is saying he's interested, it's only becuz he'd be interested if the script was actually good. Due to the way the movie was done, it would VERY hard 2 make another movie worth making. Keep in mind they say they are making a sequel 2 every Will Smith movie that comes out. And how often does that happen? He shot down the sequel 2 ID4 saying that there was no reason 4 the movie 2 happen.
  2. Ha!! I can see Jazzy in the mix with big Hollywood actors...just not blending 2 good...ha ha.
  3. Awesome...it's about tyme!! This is the 1st group i've ever seen perform live (back in 1993). I hope this is the start of something new with them.
  4. I have finally seen The Dark Knight. It was amazing. The twists, the turns, the suspence, the comical moments, etc...they are all done very well. I like all versions of Batman, and this "as realistic as it gets" style is what can make this franchise last if they stay true 2 it. I don't know why rushed Two-Face in2 movie tho'. Yes, they did it well, but with the way they are making it look is that they aren't gonna make this franchise last very long if they are gonna run thru' the classic villians so soon. One other thing that i wazn't crazy about was how they killed off so many people or things. It just seems like they are going thru' alot of stuff fast. I think the parts of the movie are very unlike the classic comic books are done well also. It didn't bug me that badly since they were done so well very this version of Batman. Just really good stuff. This may be the best superhero movie ever.
  5. Yeah, i think that's the only reason i can accept it 4 it was. If Jazzy wasn't working with him...i'd be kinda disgusted.
  6. Awesome! Thanx!! I remember someone saying how they finally officially released the real remix online in the past year but i forgot all about it. THANX AGAIN!!
  7. Yeah, i saw this when he brought it 2 BET....really good stuff!!
  8. Let's not go 2 far...ha ha. 99.9% of all artists who dropped their 1st album after 1994 shouldn't be caught anywhere near the "Summertime" instrumental. The only way it would be remotely acceptable is if one of them (JJ+FP) let them near it.
  9. This is one of the main components that got Eminem his big break. What a dope mix...i wish he would OFFICIALLY release this.
  10. hmmmm...are my words exactly. I mean, the lyrics, the flow, and the vibe are all good. I just don't think they should have done it over the original instrumental. It should be a brand new beat....even if it waz over the instrumental of one of the 2007 remixes. I actually like it as a song, but it's just not right. FP's lyrics and delivery are better. Why downgrade a classic. At least it's light years ahead of "Brand New Funk 2K." I would bump this in my car for the summertime tho.'
  11. THE BEST 'WELCOME-TO-THE-BOARD' COMMENT OF ALL TIME!!
  12. I read this earlier in the day...weird. If it's true, it makes u wonder if all of his success is messing with his head. I don't really know anything about him. All i've seen him in is Batman Begins and Shaft where he played a racist jerk.
  13. In Living Color was awesome. The Waynes Brothers brought edgy Hip-Hop comedy to the mainstream in the early 90's...filled with all kinds of skits, parody music videos, musical performances, cameos, and a killer theme song by Heavy D + The Boyz. It basically introduced the world 2 Kenon Ivery Waynes, Damon Waynes, Shawn Waynes (early on as the DJ SW1), Marlon Waynes, Kim Waynes, David Allen Grier, Tommy Davidson, Jamie Foxx, Jim Carey, and Jennifer Lopez. Not 2 mention cameos and musical perfromances by 2Pac, Salt N' Pepa, Eazy E, Another Bad Creation, Biz Markie, Nice + Smooth, Heavy D + The Boyz. TLC actually backed out of the show becuz Fox wanted them 2 take the condoms off of their cloths and change some of their lyrics on "Ain't 2 Proud 2 Beg." I love the show, i think i still need 2 get 2 more of the seasons on DVD.
  14. I can't say i'm surprised either. I liked Wild Wild West better than his last 2 movies...but with them and WWW, he's has shown how he can make hits out of movies that had a few things lacking in them. It's amazing 2 think about growing up with his music, watching him on TV, and seeing his earlier films in theaters and seeing where he is now.
  15. Do we still have the momentum going? It ends with July, right? Just a few days left.
  16. Yeah, i mean, how good of a compliment is that? And how many people are in the line for that title when it comes 2 being sucessful...ha ha.
  17. TAJ MAHAL + DJ JAZZY JEFF - Squat That Rabbit Like Never Before (1991) Man, i found out about this song almost 10 years ago and i haven't heard it until just now. There isn't nearly enough Jazzy Jeff in it...but oh well. Something "new."
  18. Jim Carry is the man!! In Living Color is one of my favorite shows of all time. His skits and music videos were hilarious. His Vanilla Ice video is legendary. The Snow is is equally as funny. I hated Vanillia Ice back then and this parody cracked me up2 no end. I'm still a big fan of Snow, but that doesn't mean i didn't find this parody hilarious. Classic stuff. Off the top of my haid, my favorite Jim Carry movies are Bruce Almighty, Ace Ventura, Liar Liar, and The Mask. I can't say i'm a big fan of the more mature or quirky stuff.
  19. Skillz put all that nicely. We all know Eminem did a song with Jazzy Jeff before he got real big. I personally didn't know he did a song with FP as well. I did "hear" about them meeting in the studio and Em humbly gave FP props. I admire Skillz sticking up for the 'Prince like that. Thanx 4 posting this!
  20. Wow! It's $9 here. There is another theater around here that i think has tickets for like $7...i really need 2 find it. There's a cheaper theater at the edge of the next state...if gas prices weren't so high it would be worth the extra drive for the lower prices i hear they have. But $16 is ridiculous. Most DVD's are cheaper than that.
  21. I love that it smashed Spidey. Don't get me wrong, i like Spider-Man...but he's no compeition 2 Batman. And besides...that last Spider-Man movie was "ehhhh."
  22. Awesome article. I love how he brags on himself when necessary but is also down 2 earth, positive, supporting. There were a few places where he could have gotten gritty on his opinion of something but he took the high road. No negative vibes, cussing, or disrespecting. I was inspired just be reading that and i can't wait 4 the new album. I like how he abandoned most of the stuff he did with 50 Cent. And even tho' some are scratching there heads about the Lil' Wayne comment, notice he only complimented his work ethic...the fact that he has recorded so much. He didn't say anything about him actually having skills or making relavant music. That's like complimenting an ugly person on their clothing 2 make them feel good...ha ha.
