Oh wow! This is dope. Already one of my fav Busta Rhymes joints of all time. Dope beat, great subject matter, flawless line up. Thank u!! Lovin' this!!
-
For some reason, even tho' i have high speed connection, the video/sound pauses every few seconds. I couldn't bare 2 watch more. But from what i heard, i loved the beat and i like his style. If there's other ways 2 check out more music, post it here. I'm intersted in hearing more.

Black Thought Defuses Will Smith “Feud” Before It Starts
JumpinJack AJ replied to Jin's topic in Jazzy Jeff & Fresh Prince
FP brought his whole crew up with him tho'...for the most part. He was taking Charlie with him all over the world thru' the mid-2000's. JL is his right hand man. O is involved with his projects as well. And i'm not sure if i'm remembering it right, but wasn't Mimi from Philly? Was Ice Cream Tee? -
JJ+FP: NON-ALBUM MUSIC LIST
JumpinJack AJ replied to JumpinJack AJ's topic in Jazzy Jeff & Fresh Prince
I do own all that stuff listed. What i really need help on is specific music tracks, remixes, etc. For example, Jazzy did that intro for DJ Revolution (which i purchased the official MP3 of) but since this list is out of date, it's not listed. I'm not worried so much about the actual items i put at the bottom of that list, i'm worried about specific tracks, songs, remixes, etc that are missing from the list. I think the area that i'm missing out the most is Jazzy's stuff. He's produced and scratched on some stuff that i know i've forgotten about. -
Album and Remix album ordered.

I've never been a 007 fan, but i can't imagin any of them playing it. I need 2 see something Puffy is in because i still can't think of him as an actor.

JJ+FP: NON-ALBUM MUSIC LIST
JumpinJack AJ replied to JumpinJack AJ's topic in Jazzy Jeff & Fresh Prince
I just wanted 2 let everyone know that i'm starting this list all over again from scratch. It'll include all b-sides, remixes, a cappellas, instrumentals, and alternate versions that i own. Every track that is on CD will have the time length. Anything that is only available on vinyl or cassette won't have the time length until i eventually get it all converted 2 CD. This list hasn't been updated in years. There are definitely tracks that i have that are not on this. There are also tracks on this list that, as far as i know, are only available as MP3's (officially available or otherwise). I was hoping all of u could help me by listing EVERYTHING JJ+FP (2gether and solo) that is NOT on this list. There are a few things that i'm missing and will get them if i can after they've been listed. Please use this post 2 list everything. It'll take me a week or 2 to finish this new list. THANX IN ADVANCE!! -
The beat is decent but nothing special. Dre sounds good....Eminem still has an annoying flow going on here.

Already gone.

Thanx everyone. I apologize for missing most of the B-Day posts here. Allow me 2 use my B-Day 2 wish everyone a Happy B-Day...ha ha. 2day has seriously sucked. I don't even wanna get in2 it. Just an awful day...10 more hours 2 turn it around.
-
Wow, i can't believe u went there...ha ha. I remember buying that cassette from Pizza Hut back in the day...ha ha. Alot of good songs on this page of the post. I'm not listening 2 music right now. Just message from Joel Osteen before bed.

In my opinion... THE POSITIVES: * The beat, it's ill. Straight Hip-Hop. * His flow...not his voice...but his flow is pretty sick. * The video...dark and edgy but visually impactful. It has a look that videos are missing. THE NEGATIVES: * His voice. It's just annoying. If he would have used his regular voice with that flow and over that beat, this song would be so good. I'm open 2 hearing this new album. I don't think it's gonna be on the level of his earlier stuff...but it sounds like it'll be better than his last 2 studio albums.

Will Smith's Top 10 songs, by DCNelson
JumpinJack AJ replied to Ale's topic in Jazzy Jeff & Fresh Prince
Very cool More people need 2 show him love in this musical drought. -
I have the original version of the album on vinyl (i don't know of the orignal version was ever released on CD...i've never found it). 2 or 3 of the song are different from the 1988 Jive release. I wanted 2 put them on CD but the condition of the record makes it so the the sound quality isn't that amazing. I'll probably get another one in the upcoming months. Congrats on the find!!

I don't think i want Bay touching that kind a movie unless Sonnenfield (sp?) isn't gonna do it. He's half of the magic for the MIB movies.

MARVIN GAYE - Come Live With Me Angel I Want You (1972)

Thanx, i will be checking this out. The 1st single i ever heard from him i LOVED. I picked up the Alantis album and wasn't that in2 it cuz i expected more Hip-Hop instead of the sing-songy experimental stuff. I also go the "Collected" album. Just 2day i was sifting thru' Borders' Hip-Hop section was like "wow, there is almost nothing in there that i even wanna listen 2...much less buy." I saw an old K-os album and thought i should revisit him. So yeah, i'll be checking it out in the next day or so...and i love that u are saying he's rapping more this time around.

With most releases u will get a mix of music and movies, most of them leaning towards teh movies side of his career becuz that's what sells. Will Smith featuring DJ Jazzy Jeff: Live In Concert is a must have. It's JJ+FP doing a show in 2005 for a select audience. They cover a few things off L+F, a handful of solo hits and JJ+FP hits. It's just dope...i would watch it again and again. The Will Smith Video Collection: This has all of his videos from "Men In Black" thru' "So Fresh" (unless u get the VHS) The DVD has more video footage compared 2 the VHS. Will Smith: Biography. The A&E network did special on it and i found a few copies on ebay. I'm sure they are still there or at least pop up there from time to time. It's not a back biography on him. VHS: DJ Jazzy Jeff + The Fresh Prince: Summertime: And Other Hits. This covers all of their videos from "Girls..." thru' "Summertime." It's loaded with classic JJ+FP footage and interviews. Jazzy Jeff + Fresh Prince: Greatest Hits. This has most of the JJ+FP videos (it doesn't include "The Things That U Do" for some reason. At the end it has some behind the scenes footage and interviews...most of it from the previous JJ+FP video. BOOKS: I don't know that there are really any good books on him. I have a few short ones or magazine styles ones. Most of them have very general information but i pick them up when i see them or when they are really cheap. I can't really help u with this one.

JJ+FP: NON-ALBUM MUSIC LIST
JumpinJack AJ replied to JumpinJack AJ's topic in Jazzy Jeff & Fresh Prince
I've been meaning 2 watch that again for awhile. I really wish Columbia would re-release that with all of the music videos, live performances. and behind the scenes stuff from his time on Columbia.
