  1. I'm sure we'll get some attention and one what or another it'll get around 2 FP's people. What if we mention it on Jeff's profile and he DOESN'T sign it...ha ha.
  2. I have got 2 get this speakers fixed ASAP!! ha ha
  3. Should it say a DJ Jazzy Jeff + Fresh Prince reunion album OR a new solo album? The world is ready. The truth is that if FP is worried about mixing the careers (which he shouldn't be at this point)), a JJ+FP album would justify things even further from his movie career. Plus it'll be one of the best albums in the last decade.
  4. Ahhh....all these new songs and my computer speakers are shot!
  5. I think there is a very good chance more music will come. There's plenty left in him. With real Hip-Hop not lining up with what commerical Rap is doing and with his movie career, he's just unaware of how bad people support him as an artist. Create it Tim, I speak for us all when i say we are all down.
  6. Thanx for posting this!! Is it a song for a new album? My speakers crapped out last night so i can't hear it yet. But once i get them fixed this will be the 1st thing i check out.
  7. SPEECH - Words Unspoken The Grown Folks Table (2009) Speech is back! This might be his best solo album yet! This is oen of Hip-Hop's most intellegent and creative emcees ever. So undertated.
  8. I haven't heard that track on the album. She's probably the main reason i would like it. She certainly is the only reason i kept watching the performance.
  9. Cozmo, i think we'll be on the same page with this. It's still one of LL's weakest tracks ever. The production is just 2 bad 2 keep my attention for the lyrics. LL has never slipped lyrically. It's the the weakest of the production that's been hurting his music lately.
  10. Cozmo tells it like it is...ha ha. LL hass shown us 100 times that he's cabable of so much more. He needs 2 be alot pickier when it comes to production.
  11. I've heard 5 tracks off of Blueprint 3. I only really liked one of those tracks. I thought the rest were average. I have no idea which ones Kanye produced. His beats aren't what they used to be. When it comes to Russell Brand, from what i've seen he ONLY tries 2 tell jokes that offend someone. It has nothing 2 do with if the joke is funny, it has 2 do with "who can i offend"..."how can i get more attention?" I don't think the audience liked him either. There wasn't one joke that got any real laughter. It was very akward to see him drown like that over and over again with his "jokes."
  12. Rest In Peace. I never followed his career much. To Wong Foo is the only movie with him that i really remember. I own Dirty Dancing but have never watched it the whole way thru.' I watched Ghost years ago. At least he isn't suffering anymore. My prayers go out 2 his friends and family.
  13. Yeah, Lady Gaga tries way 2 hard. I'm all for being an individual...but when u can tell that someone isn't real at all and going out of their way 2 look stupid and ugly, it's just phoney. My favorite expression in the show was Eminem's. When he presented the award for best new artist and Lady Gaga won it. She comes up looking like a total fool and screams "This is for God and this is for the gays." Eminem did everything to keep his expression under control. We were witnessing him coming up with 3 cleverly witty lyrics about her right there...ha ha. And that fact that Jennifer Lopez introduced Eminem and Tracey Morgan was amusing. At 1st i thought Jennifer Lopez was annoyed at Eminem's lyrics about her in the past because she looked happy 2 be there until it came 2 introducing him (and shouldn't that be the other way around?). Shortly after you could see her clapping and smiling for him tho.' Kanye issued and apology today (of course). I really am done with him tho.' His beats have gotten alot weaker over the years. He was never a great emcee and he's been getting worse ever since. And lastly he's just an annoying person. He isn't bold when he speaks his mind. He says these uneducated opinions and conveys them like a 8 year old.
  14. Sounds like they are rushing BB3. I hope that's not the case. Anything less than the first 2 will be unexceptable.
  15. I think he's show alot of promise. I think a 3rd of his album is really good, another 3rd is okay, and the other 3rd is lacking. As the face of R-N-B strengthens i'm sure he'll smooth our the wrinkles. CYPRESS HILL - The Only Way Hits From The Bong (2005)
  16. Who saw it? What did u think? I thought Madonna's opening speech was very touching. I thought the MJ tribute was dope. The army of dancers in iconic MJ costumes dancing 2 his hits as they played the accompanying videos on the screen was great. Janet coming out for "Scream" was crazy. Her pre-recorded vocals were pretty rough and the lipsyncing 2 cater 2 the dancing was a bit disappointing but great none the less. Katy Perry's "We Will Rock" was great. Russell Bran is a dirty, unfunny douche. I will pay for his termination. Taylor Swift winning the 1st award was nice. I hate country music, but i like a few of her singles. It was amazing 2 see a country-pop artist crossover like that on the VMA's. Kanye West stealing the mic was awful. I hate him. I'm done with him being an idiot. A young girl crossing over to win and award like that was her living out a dream. His ignorant butt should have been stopped. He ruined her moment by grabbing the mic and saying Beyonce had the greatest video of the year (uh...it was okay...her album is trash...and i LOVE Beyonce). I can't believe he would do that. U could see she was just hurt. She couldn't even complete her speech so MTV just started rolling the graphics 2 move the show on. Kanye's a loser. I'm done with him. He can stand behind the bullet that takes down Russell Bran and hopefully it hits him 2. Taylor Swifts peformance right after being inturrupted was nice. I thought Beyonce's performance was played out but good (we've seen her do it 100 times). Eminem's skit with Tracey Morgan was funny. Eminem winning and award was kind of refreshing. He looked good and healthy. Lady Gaga's peformance was weird but okay. Her outfits were just stupid. The blood bit was ridiculous. Pink's performance was great considering she was singing live and spent the whole performance flipping around in the air. The outfit was kinda stupid tho.' She definitely is the strongest female in music. I'm not a huge Jay--Z fan. His performance was very basic but good. Alicia Keys perfroming with him was great. Beyonce winning her award deserved for the video alone. I love that she allowed Taylor Swift to come out and finish was she started in the beginning of the show (Kanye really is and idiot...u have 2 make better music 2 even thinking about acting like that...and he's not). Lady Gaga won best new artist. Whatever. Another idiotic outfit. Why does she do that? The trailor for MJ's "This Is It" at the end of the show was great. I'm even more hyped 2 see it now. That's all the stuff i remember standing out in my head. What do u guys think?
  17. Yeah, i got the Def Jam mixtape that has "Bump This" mistitled as the "Freeze" remix. I was so happy thinking I finally found it. I wasn't into much on that mixtape so it ended up being a waste of money. Y'all know know I'm not in2 the MP3 thing unless it's a last resort. I've looked with no luck. Maybe if all the LL fans look around we'll find it. It was on the radio. U'd think there'd be a promo or a Def Jam compilation promo or SOMETHING that has it.
  18. 100% sure. I only heard it 2 or 3 times (on the radio i think).
  19. Big Ted, that one took me back. I couldn't get enough of "Please Hammer, Don't Hurt 'Em." Everytime i pop it in I feel like a kid again. 5th grade, baby! LL COOL J - Luv U Better 10 (2002) This might be my favorite Hip-Hop love song of the 2000's. Even after all these years i just love the lyrics, the Netptune's production, and the way it all comes 2gether.
  20. No doubt, when the time comes, I'll probably make a few mixtapes filled with R-N-B's recent best. I'm just not into it at the moment. I used to make the sexiest slow jam tapes back in the day. If u make 'em just right, huney's will be under your spell....ha ha.
  21. I don't remember any G-Unit members on the remix. I know that some mixtapes had "Bump This" with Lloyd Banks and Hot Rod (or whatever) listed as the "Freeze" remix but i from the few times i heard it, i just remember a more solid beat and it only featuring Lyfe. I've been looking for YEARS with no luck. I'll settle for an MP3 if anyone can find it. And if anyone sees a CD (prefered) or vinyl promo, I'll be all over it.
  22. I would review at least 1 album a week. Old stuff, new stuff, whatever. If Tim is up for it, we can give it a try and delete it if it isn't used that much.
  23. I love that classic era of Def Jam. But all of those artists have been honored before. I love it and hate it at the same time. JJ+FP will be honored one day.
