Roland Emmerich talks about 'Independence Day' 2
JumpinJack AJ replied to Ale's topic in Will Smith Movies
He's lying. FP NEVER did anything but say there was, and i quote, "zero chance" he would do a sequel to ID4. It would be simply ridiculous for the same characters to deal with the world being threatened by aliens...AGAIN. -
Don't download...go out and buy the record.

AALIYAH + DMX - Come Back In One Piece (Explicit Version) Come Back In One Piece (CD Promo) (2000) This is taking me back 2 when i'd listen 2 this soundtrack non-stop. Never heard this explicit version of this song tho'...ha ha. I remember all of the Aaliyah songs being dope (especially "I Don't Wanna" and "Try Again.") Timbaland + Magoo, Ginuwine, Joe all had good trax on it.

Amen 2 that!! I used 2 love Blossom...until they tried 2 make her grow up 2 fast. Alot of 90's shows had teens growing up 2 fast out of nowhere. That's one thing that worked with FPofBA. They spread out the development.

Ha ha....alot of amazing females in this. I love it when Chris Rock reminds me how smart he is.

I just read my post and it sounds like i meant SV sold out. I definitely meant BET. I remember when BET played lots of music from all spectrums of Hip-Hop and R-N-B. Now it's mostly that watered down music sandwiched in between filthy/stupid television programming.
-
I saw this play a few years ago. I've never seen the movie. I'm not sure how a movie of this would do in 2009...especially in theaters. Hmmmmmmmm..............
-
Yes it was...but BET certainly wasn't supporting SV since they sold out.

I'd be siding with JJ+FP (of course). Seeing the Salt-N-Pepa and J.J. Fad videos take me back. S-N-P definitely brought more energy than J.J. Fad and had a much tighter chemistry. J.J. Fad was dope tho.' I do have their 1st album. I just always found it funny that N.W.A. was behind them. Of course Eazy-E tried 2 recreate this "magic" in the 90's with H.W.A....Ho's With Attitude...ha ha.

Ah, Rest In Peace. I really like Slum Village. To be honest, i can't tell which guy is which (other than Jay Dee) from the group but i have most of their albums and i like most of their stuff. They were one of the few groups still making good music.

Eminem Responds to Mariah Carey 'Obsessed'
JumpinJack AJ replied to Da Brakes's topic in Caught in the Middle
It took Mariah Carey to make Eminem do a track with a good delivery. In Em's favor, this is the flow i wanna hear (closer to his original style once he found his nitch). Lyrically it's funny. However, let's look at this realistically. Eminem is dissing Mariah Carey. Once again, he's not taking on a fellow emcee, he's taking on someone in a form that they victim cannot fight back. I mean, how many R-N-B diss tracks are there?!? Eminem's weakness has always been how heavily relied on POP CULTURE to make HIP-HOP and RAP records. He started the mess by making a crap song. It's easily the worst song on the album. What is the point of it? He devotes a whole song on his 2009 album to a relationship that happened (or didn't happen) YEEEEARS ago. I mean, what respectable man insults a marraige (like he has room 2 judge any healthy relationship?!) Then when Mariah repsponded, he wants 2 go in2 cry baby mode again. Let me say that i think Mariah's song is okay and i like how she had the confidense 2 make fun of him back (because he asked for it) but "Obsessed" is Mariah's weakest opening single...or at least tied with "Loverboy." I viewed it as a playful way 2 respond 2 a stupid song that no ones knows just how playful he wanted it 2 be...how serious was he when he wrote it. Props 2 Em for flowing like he has some sense. Props for getting funny in the lyrics department. Props for choosing a dope beat. NO PROPS for poking fun at a marriage, taking on Mariah as if it were necessary. -

I agree, when answering a ?uestion like this, u are pulling bits and pieces of characteristics that JJ+FP have and that's it. U can say an emcee doesn't cuss or rarely cusses and that makes them kinda like JJ+FP. U could say they were out back in the mid-80's and that makes them like JJ+FP. U could say the group consists of an emcee and a DJ and that makes them like JJ+FP. U could say they mixed comedy in with their music or their lyrics were heavy with story telling and that made them like JJ+FP. There definitely isn't any other group like JJ+FP. Think about all of the groups that were out in the 80's and early 90's. They were all pretty different. Look at the commercial rap scene 2day. They are all pretty similar and fall in2 about 3 categories.

It's good 2 read this and see that this is working out for what seems 2 be the best. Hopefully this didn't happy with Debbie Rowe getting more money out of now having the kids. This is probably the best thing for the kids. They'll be able 2 figure out what the next step is as Katerine gets older and is unable to take care of them. ------------------------------------------------------------------ Grandmother Katherine Gets Custody of Jackson Children PopEater posted: 56 MINUTES AGOcomments: 35filed under: Music NewsPRINT|E-MAILMOREText SizeAAAAfter weeks of negotiation, Katherine Jackson and Debbie Rowe have settled their custody dispute over Michael Jackson's children. JJFP.com GREATEST RAPPER OF ALL TIME
JumpinJack AJ replied to Da Brakes's topic in Caught in the Middle
I don't know if I'm voting on this...ha ha. By thinking about it, i don't know what i'm thinking anymore. I mean, Rakim blew my mind back in the day. He doesn't anymore. He doesn't do much 2 do that for any of his fans. Yes, he is one of the best. Yes, he is one of my favorites. But L+F was a dope album lyric for lyric. The ratio of lyrics with punch on L+F compared to Rakim's latest is actually stronger. I will either not think about it and not vote or go crazy by thinking about it and making a painful decision knowing that my vote will make one of them lose in the end.
