I never thought there marriage was a sham. I thought they were a strange mix but I never judged. Everyone wanted to judge them becuz so many people wanna be negative.

Yeah, I love Lois + Clark. They were the perfect "romantic comedy with a dash of drama" Superman to me. Nobody rocked the suit like Dean Cain did. And Teri Hatcher is easily the hottest Lois Lane there ever was.

$391,081,192 doesn't sound like a bad welcoming to me. Superman Returns wasn't really a beat 'em up kid kinda movie. People who wanted that would be dissatisfied. Going with the reboot idea, I think they should wait another 5 years or so. Back to back reboots are just stupid. At 1st I wasn't crazy about Lois Lane, but other than Terri Hatcher and the 50's Lois Lane, I don't think they've every really cast a good Lois Lane. I grew up on Superman too. I still have countless Superman toys from when I was at little as 3 years old. I have 100's of Superman comic books from my teenage years and a few from the past few years. Look at my Old Skool albums on Myspace and Facebook...lol...there's tons of Superman costume pix of me as a kid in costume. With something as big as Superman it's impossible to create something that'll please most fans. The bottomline tho' is that I'd NEVER wanna see Smallville actors do Superman. Shoot, if Dean Cain is still doing his thing, I'd like to see him do Superman again.

The emotional and dramatic side of Superman Returns was there because, let's be real, Superman is physically unstoppable. U have to add that stuff in to have him effected. That's what makes it more than just an action movie. Also, those visually impactful moments like a bullet hitting his eye are what make Superman different from other super heroes. It reintroduces (and introduces) how powerful Superman is. I think what they did from tying into the original Superman movie was amazing AND the right thing to do. Lex Luthor is the iconic Superman villain. He HAD to be in this movie and I thought he was brilliant (and funny). But I do agree that other villains need to appear in future movies. I thought Superman Returns was almost perfect even tho' I was preparing myself to hate it. After they got it right and had plenty of room to take things further, I find it hard to believe I'll like a too-quickly rebooted Superman. One that's actually using the title of the planned Superman Returns sequel!? I don't think any aspect of Batman: The Dark Knight should be mixed into Superman...other than the story turning and being perfect from start to finish. I also don't think ANY Watchman traits should be mixed in with Superman. His would is different from everyone else's. All those other comic book worlds were created to be different from his and the movies should be the same.

Presley explained why she wanted to talk about Jackson now. "Every time I've ever had an interview in the past, I tend to get very defensive because I was usually promoting something and it would always cross into my personal life." "I wanted to sit and really have a conversation about things that are more on a personal level, before I do have an album coming out," she said. "I didn't understand my relationship with him," Presley admitted of how she felt when she was with the King of Pop from 1994 to 1996. She realizes now why people though their relationship was a sham. "To some degree, he was a master at manipulating a little bit with the media. I understand that nobody really knew who I was. They just assumed I was going along with something he would be doing." "He was conditioned to get himself where he needed to go for his career and with his talent. He became very good at making and creating and pupeteering and manipulating to some degree," Presley continued. "I always confused that manipulation thinking that that manipulation meant that he didn't love me. I understand it better now. The manipulation was because it was a survival tactic for him." Lisa Marie said she was in England when she heard the news and John Travolta was one of the first to break it to her. When Oprah asked what she felt, she replied, "Real honest to goodness shock, not even tears. I was floored, honestly floored." On Jackson's drug problem, she claims she didn't notice until the very end of their marriage. "I didn't really suspect and catch on until just before I filed for divorce. There was just an occasion, an incident where he had collapsed and he was in the hospital," she described of the scene in 1995 when Jackson collapsed while rehearsing for an HBO concert and doctors blamed it on a viral infection. "It was very confusing what was wrong. Every day there was a different report. And I couldn't tell what was happening," she added. "I couldn't really get a straight answer about what was happening with him and I think we were all a little bit in the dark. At that point, I think I got from various indications that that was going on then." "There were times that I would pick him up from certain doctors' offices and he would not be coherent," Presley remembered. Something she wanted to make clear, their romance was for real. "I honestly can tell you, it was every sense a normal marriage." "One of the very highest points of my life was when things were going really well and he and I were united together and he and I had an understanding about some of the people and things that could go on around him and he was with me on those things and we were a unit and I could take care of him," she told Oprah. "For some reason, I don't know what happens when someone passes away and this is what's come of it. But I've come to have all this love again and understanding for him. I don't know why it had to take all that to have this happen. That upsets me a bit," Presley opined. "Were you angry with him before?" Oprah questioned. "I was very angry. I was so angry. I felt that we were so united and then at some point he pushed me out." "There was a very profound point in the marriage when he had to make a decision -- was it the drugs and the sort of vampires or me? And he pushed me away." She compared Jackson to her father, Elvis Presley. "The one thing that correlates with Michael and my father on this subject, they had the luxury of creating whatever reality around them they wanted to create." Winfrey brought up the similar way in which both her father and her ex-husband lived and died. "It really blows me away, to be honest with you. I still try to figure out why? What is it that I had to go through this twice?" she recalled. "I went through it once, that was painful and I went through it again." She reveals that she wished she had reached out to Jackson before his death. "I know it's naive to think that I could have (saved him) but I wanted to. Had I made a call, had I stopped being so shut off from him, had I just said 'How are you?' I really regret that I didn't."

I've been eying this post for awhile, wanting to do something with it. I felt that as the person who started it and the person who was using it the most, that I might come off as being too pushy with it or too needy with what I'm going thru.' I didn't wanna come off that way. But going off of that others are saying, prayer is definitely effective in many ways. For those looking for a relationship with something greater and higher than themselves, it's the perfect open door for that. And I agree that it helps us put things in proper perspective. Sometimes just coming to God with a conversation and not a "list of please and thank you's" can really help us figure out this crazy thing called life. Other than just hearing yourself put it all out there and organize it, I think the results that we can get out of just hearing ourselves is God's way of answering it. When I started using this post a lot nearly 2 years ago, it seems like many things have changed and stayed the same all at the same time. One thing I've occasionally struggled with with allowing my prayer life to become stagnate. Over all, I just tell myself that God doesn't get tired of hearing praise and thank you. But when it comes to my needs, hopes, desires, I feel like I'm rehearsing the same things over and over again. Ultimately I believe he answers the prayer the second I say it but that life, lessons, time, and other people's growth can get in the way. To mix it up I thank Him for answering it rather than asking it again and again. Sometimes I feel that we need to talk to that great need and tell it what it's gonna do. I'll bring up some needs in my life but I'd certainly be interested in lifting other up in prayer. The reason I stopped posting so much is because I didn't wanna be the only one opening up here. I feel that some other might be the same way. So feel free to post and I'll continue watching this thread.

I've liked Vanilla Ice for the past 10 years. Not so much his music, but I watched in on various reality shows. I disliked him with a great passion up until that point. After seeing him just be himself on these show, I think he's actually be a cool person to kick it with. The show doesn't interest me too much but when I have a chance to watch it, I will. I've seen him promoting this show on TV for weeks.

I think it's stupid that they are planning a reboot just 4 years later. I feel that they should continue with what they started with Superman returns. The only lacking moments of the film were the focus on drama and emotion rather than action and him and Lois having a son. My idea, have someone kill their son which makes Brandon Routh's Superman so angry that serious butt gets kicked. 2 problems fixed with one story line, a franchised saved, great actors already in place, and more money guaranteed to be made. I could care less about having the Smallville actors do anything after the show ends. I watched it when it was new but have since lost interest. I have bought the first few seasons on DVD and look forward to watching them but I just want the world they created with Brandon Rouths Superman to come back. If they are gonna do a reboot, they should wait. Anyone else thing The Incredible Hulk was lacking due to the fact they that rebooted it only a few years after the previous movie?

I had no idea there were rumors of them fighting. In my eyes they are both B-level R-N-B artists. They both have great voices but only occasionally chose songs that show that...and stand the test of time due to choosing trendy production that will sound dated 3 years after it's release. Plus, I think Ciara is kinda corny when it comes to her perception of herself...as is some of her dancing. I'll agree with that. He work on It's Dark and Hell Is Hot was dope. I don't know of any of his other stuff that I like. I just know he's produced alot of stuff that's weak to me. The songs he produces for my favorite artists (DMX 2001 and on, Mary J. Blige, Alicia Keys, etc) are typically my least favorite songs on their albums.

MYA - Ridin' (2007) I love Mya. When is she comin' back. That mixtape she dropped simply isn't cutting it for me.

I watched some of their debates and it made me laugh. I like a handful of people who were discussing who should be at the top. I don't take the commercial side of Hip-Hop/Rap serious at all when it comes to the last 10 years. Without saying things have already been said, emcees like FP, LL, Common Sense, have all released quality albums and even had success in it. Today's fans of popular music show that they do not require talent, skill, creativity, originality, etc in the music that mindlessly listen to. The list is garbage. I think Eminem has released 3 great albums in the past 10 years. However, more than half of that 10 years was spent being completely annoying, inconsistent, and making weak music. I love where he's at in his career right now but right now isn't the last 10 years. I also think Ludacris, who also isn't consistent in the quality of his music, has improved over the years. I could literally say that everyone else on that list has an annoying voice, isn't very lyrical (if at all) and usually have weak production. This list isn't Hip-Hop.

Since I've been on an Eve kick and happy with the way she's grown as an artist, this is the 1st time I've been genuinely excited about an Eve album (tho' I've always liked her). I can't say I'm a fan of Swizz Beats, but everything else sounds really good.

TOOTHPICK aka DOUG RAY - Scars For Entertainment Time Travelin' Couch (2005) Yeah, "Dilemma" is dope. When i hear that song I instantly get taken back to Summer 2002. The production is perfect, Kelly Rowland is perfect, and Nelly isn't using an obnoxious dirty south, fake-thug persona. It's easily one of his best. I'm not a big Nelly fan. I can probably fit all the songs I like by him on one CD, but he turned out a classic with this one.

I saw "Kel Spencer" on the wall in the Full Clip video ages ago and asked Kel about it. He said he was cool with Gang Starr so it's likely that they did put there as a shout out 2 him. Since he is cool with Gang Starr, I've always wondered whey they never did anything.

R. KELLY - If I Could Turn Back The Hands of Time The R. (1998) I've always thought this was one of R-N-B's greatest songs and most beautiful videos ever. And yeah, I've recently been on an Eve kick. I've like alot of her music but was never that into her. I watched her VH-1 Behind the Music recently and got into her more than ever.

I don't think this song (Cee-Lo's song) is as amazing as everyone is making it out to be. You added your touch 2 it in the nice way. I also like that your went with the clean version. I think it better fit your style and since everyone else listens 2 the explicit version, it makes this version more interesting 2 those who are big fans of the song. As always, nice work.
