I'm outside the UK and I use the site every now and then. It's pretty good for some currently running shows, others is just a random collection of whatever they have. I also hate the ads that pop up over the show/movie. Oh, and I recently wrote an essay that went over this very topic.

Actually with Hip Hop sales as low as they are, I doubt many people ARE buying it. It's been milked beyond belief.

A LOT of the southern rappers are crap. There's just no way around it, they suck. You can definitely give them part of the blame. The real problem is the producers trying to make a quick buck. They are the one's that greenlight this crap and sign these people. Rakim needs to come out with the 7th Seal already though.

Saw it last night. There were a lot of moments where he was clearly over-glorified ( ). The problem with movies like this is that they can never be long enough to really tell the person's story. I noticed several parts of his life they skipped over. Still, there's something about it I liked, perhaps it was because it was a hip hop movie that didn't have crappy songs throughout (see: Hustle & Flow). I knew the material and it was good. Or maybe it was the girly parts... As a biographical movie, there's much better out there, but this is one of the better hip hop related ones (not that there's much competition out there). I think the Pac parts probably needed the most work, but it was a decent movie.

Right now it's all kinds. Yesterday the list went from the Beastie Boys to James Brown to Rush to some indie artists. In a while they will be switching their format and doing mostly independent music. I'm gonna gauge my power over there and see if I can get artists like Kel Spencer on.

Hello fans, Today marked the day that I was haphazardly trained to run a 2 hour radio show on my own. I will have my own 2 hour show every Friday (beginning next week) via my college radio station. I write to you, my fans, because this station is broadcast through the Internet (and specifically through iTunes Radio) and is listened to around the world. As this is my first radio show, it will be mostly music. After 2 quarters of doing the show, I can get my own talk show.
