So far I've listened to all but Ludacris' track. Dope stuff. The Pac stuff is interesting too. EDIT: I'm listening to Luda's track and I see that it's another rapper who basically made a song for Dre and even rapped like him (TI did the same thing).

Really? I knew someone was gonna come in and say I got the wrong group. Anyway, I liked their music and the fact that they stayed who they were without following the trends of everyone else in music.

Any word on the cause yet? RIP to him. My biggest memory of Slum Village is BET's refusal to air their video because they thought it was too intellectual for their audience.

That too. WB just shoved it out the door. It kind of just seems thrown together.

It sucks, but I'm not surprised by this. It happens all the time with DVD series releases. Hell, the reason Wonder Years hasn't hit DVD at all is because all of the licensed music in the show. And I'm not surprised by bad sales at all. I've got seasons 1-4 but I don't think I've even opened any after season 1. Why is that? Because I can probably turn on the TV right now and find an episode of Fresh Prince on somewhere. The show was sold off to so many networks and cable channels that it gave people little incentive to need to get the show for themselves.

This is an old video. It did bring up some discussion here though. They are right, it would cost a TON of money to make and that's just because of the star and director. The studio would have to be sure they'd make a big enough profit from the film in order to give it any sort of green light.
