i love that quote too Tim, i was gonna post this a long time ago but i figured everyone had probably seen it, it's a great read

i finally got past my block, be TOTALLY honest, don't bite ur tongue, remember that it's the first thing i've written and completed in months lol Shed A Tear when bad things happen is it okay to cry? when a life is sacrificed and innocent people die would it be a waste of time to get angry over war? simply because i've lost sight of what it is we're fighting for would it really matter if another mother killed her baby? is it really just post-partum or is she really crazy? how many more people have to die before there's a cure for cancer? when can i pose this question and finally get a positive answer? do you really care that AIDS is eating people alive? grown men raping babies, but we turn our heads and close our eyes Amber Alert, another little girl found dead, she'd been abused she was just out with her friend, her daddy killed them, i'm confused is it unfair to cry because my tears won't bring them back home? this happens everyday, does that make it ok, do i just move on? will any of this stick with you, did it make you more aware? if it were you or someone you knew, would that make you care? if tomorrow never comes, is it enough to have today? if you don't believe in God, does it still count when you pray? are you a victim of yourself, do you believe everything you hear? this poem was written to make you think...not to make you shed a tear Ashley *also i may expand it but i'm not sure, it's kinda Tell Me Why inspired but i feel like it's incomplete

you don't need me to tell you this but that's really great cookie, i do a little painting/artwork as well... i can only hope to be that "blessed" one day lol

i feel bad that she had issues but i don't feel sorry for her, b/c her visions of Will and herself were just so farfetched, obviously she had serious problems, i mean you don't stalk people for the hell of it...your "husband"? c'mon what is that? but i do think it's a great song b/c it's just really honest, but i hate when i read comments about it and people are like "isn't that cute" or "she's so lucky he wrote a song about her" :hmm: he wrote it for a reason and i don't think a lot of people get the message

yeah i figured that's what it's from b/c his onscreen presence is such a great one, but that's gotta be so damn irritating lol, you want people to focus on you as an artist and obviously they're not taking you very seriously...i'm hoping something will come out of him and Jada hosting the BET awards, maybe more album sales or something, but most BET fans see him as more of an actor first

am i the only one who noticed that after all the wait for new music from Will that we're hearing more about films that he's involved in, in some way or another....but when he's doing a film, and we're dying for him to release a new track and we get nothing? :lolsign: i thought that was kinda weird, or maybe i have too much free time to think up such things :wiggle:

i watched the View, and Jada didn't say anything about Ozzfest, they asked if her and Will would ever perform/collaborate again she said that they may tour together in Europe in November, something Will also said a while ago, he said something like it'd be a Smith family tour and WW would open up for him...i'm not sure if Ozzfest even has anything to do with what she was talking about b/c like i said she didn't mention it, so i don't know whether to take this very seriously or not lol, this whole ozzfest thing is driving me bananas...it's like, either they'll do it or they won't, but i really can't see either of them there...but whatever they decide more power to them

I said Just The Two Of Us, cuz i agreed with Will, a few years ago when he said it was his lyrical best, (now along with Tell Me Why) Summertime is a great classic song but to me, these are Will's best (just my opinion)b/c of the messages and strong imagery, whenever i pull out my video collection I watch Just The Two Of first, b/c i think it's amazingly beautiful and honest, both the song and video...a lesson for any child (esp. boys) from their father, and i was glad that Will also made it a point to do the song, video, and book, as a way to deal with negative stereotypes associated with minority fathers, as he said once on tv and these lyrics have always stuck with me since hearing it: Throughout life people will make you mad Disrespect you and treat you bad Let God deal with the things they do 'Cause hate in ya heart will consume you too Now, Mockingbird is a good song as well but like Aj said, i don't like how he complains/addresses things he can change, though i tend to like all his songs for Hailie, Mockingbird, Hailie's Song, but it's like he can't stay serious w/o saying something to ruin it ("don't **** with dad") could've easily been substituted even though i heard he makes clean versions for her, and i won't even start on his version of Just The Two Of Us('97 Bonnie and Clyde)......but overall i do like the lyrical content of Mockingbird b/c despite his issues it's clear Hailie's his #1 but when it comes down to it, Just The Two Of Us is better, in my opinion :thumb:

i chose Wendy's their Chicken nuggets are the best, after them Burger King..oh yeah Top Dawg i know all about Portillo's best Italian Beef,never had a burger from there..... i like Johnny Rockets or Steak and Shake for burgers

i see ur point for wanting to sign though Julie, but the majority stands with people who don't want them to play, so maybe they won't go anyway, Jada's doing Madagascar promotion on talk shows this week and i'm waiting to see if she says anything about it, but yeah for safety reasons alone i'll be glad if they don't go, i mean there are other places they could play

i heard about that petition, i was wondering if Jada's heard any of this and if they're still actually gonna go, b/c like lots of other people i don't see how they fit in @ Ozzfest... i don't want anything bad to happen either, but i'm not giving those assholes the satisfaction by signing their petition cuz they were saying a lot of foul stuff, and i have low tolerance for racist jerks, which a lot of them, not all, but a lot of them are

yeah it's almost scary how much she looks like him, she's a little Will with Jada's eyes, i think she actually looks the most like him out of all his kids, and she is a daddy's girl, she's stuck on him, i think it's cute(got all girly with ya for a sec Angel :thumb: )...they're all growing up so fast, i wonder if he's feeling old yet, Trey's about to be a teenager :kekeke:
